PRINCE2® stands for "Projects in Controlled Environments" and is one of the world's leading methods for organizing, managing, and controlling projects. The PRINCE2® method is suitable for any type of project, regardless of its size or the type of organization.

The PRINCE2® Practitioner certification is the second level in the PRINCE2® certification program PRINCE2® and builds upon the content covered in the PRINCE2® Foundation exam. In this course, you will deepen your understanding of the PRINCE2® project management method and learn the relationships between themes, processes, management products, and roles. The Practitioner online course and the subsequent exam will enable you to apply the project management method in practice.

The exam fees are included in the course fees. After the expiration of the withdrawal period (14 days), you will receive an individual exam voucher for the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam. This voucher allows you to take the exam online with the Examination Institute PEOPLECERT. The prerequisite for taking the Practitioner exam is proof of your "PRINCE2® Foundation" knowledge through a corresponding certificate.

The exam is supervised online (web-proctored). Upon successful completion, you will receive the certificate by mail.

Instructor Jason Dion will provide you with everything you need for an optimal exam result. Among other things, you will be prepared in the following areas:

• Structure of the exam and exam questions for the PRINCE2® Practitioner
• Approaches for creating products and checklists for the application of PRINCE2®
• Utilization of the 7 processes for planning, controlling, and orderly completion of the project
• In-depth understanding of the tasks of individual roles in the project team
• Handling the business case, project plan, and incorporating risk, quality, and change control
• Suggestions for adapting PRINCE2® to different project situations

Please note: The Practitioner exam is an open-book examination, meaning that you are allowed to use the book "Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®" during the exam. The book is NOT part of this course, but you should have access to it as part of your preparation for the PRINCE2® Foundation examination.

Important note: PeopleCert has announced that it will remove PRINCE2® 6th edition from the offer on June 30, 2024. Participants who take the course by June 30, 2024 can take the exam by December 31, 2024. Repeats or extensions of the examination voucher are excluded beyond December 31, 2024.
