Catherine Cerulli, PhD, JD

Dr. Catherine Cerulli is the Director of the Community Engagement Core of the TRANSFORM P50 Center for Excellence at Mount Hope Family Center, in New York, USA.

She obtained her PhD and JD and has built a cross-disciplinary career combining legal, public health, and mental health expertise to improve services and outcomes in clinical and legal settings. Dr. Cerulli co-founded a medical-law program integrating clinical and legal services for individuals affected by intimate partner violence and leads research evaluating program effectiveness. Her national and international research has been funded by the NIH Fogarty International Center, the World Health Organization, and the Fulbright Specialist Program, with an emphasis on evidence-based program design and rigorous evaluation. She also holds a professorship in Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Within Lecturio, Dr. Cerulli teaches courses on a Transdisciplinary Approach to Prevent & Respond to Child Abuse & Neglect.
