Very clear explanation, and fun analogies used, sometimes!
von Cb Y. am 13. März 2024 für Adaptive Immune System
I loved Dr Delves lectures! I find them incredibly easy to follow, very clear… he uses his voice to empathize important points, uses fun analogies, sometimes, to explain concepts. What I personally “disliked” is that since I am using his lectures to study for Step 1, it makes me wonder if I really need to know all the details presented in his lectures. It is very interesting and all, but I am pressed for time! I would looove a final summary saying, “this is what you HAVE to know for your exam”. I think doing the quiz questions have helped me extract the most important points in some of the lectures that were so full of “letters and numbers”. But overall, his lectures have made immunology so much more friendly and even amusing!

Good detail, but missed earlier regions of Leukocyte migration
von Matthieu M. am 19. März 2019 für Acute inflammatory, Type I interferon and NK cell responses
When you touched on leukocyte migration, you began at the stage of "adhesion" when many medical students should include the first two steps before this. It should include Margination, where leukocytes follow lamina flow while being pushed by erythrocytes onto the barriers of the endothelial cells, then rolling, where selectin proteins are adhesion molecules which weakly attach onto these leukocytes causing them to "roll" .... and then do i believe you should be able to talk about the adhesion and transmigration parts. If you could add this in, it would be quite useful. especially because many students are trusting these lecture to have the utmost information. Thank you very much.
When you spoke on the topic itself though, it was quite organised and detailed.

Very Comprehensive lecture and lecture notes, covering a vast area within 3 to 4 mins
good lecture overall
von Edward K. am 27. August 2017 für Inguinal Canal – Abdominal Walls and Inguinal Canal
good lecture- lost a star because illustrations are in latin. I do appreciate latin is completely acceptable to use in the context of anatomy, but in practice nobody uses latin terms and it feels outdated and counter-productive to learn the latin nomenclature.
It would be much easier to follow if everything was in english ; a small point but it did slow me down when following this lecture.

von Oluwatomi A. am 22. August 2017 für Inferior Mesenteric Artery – Arterial Supply to the GI Tract

von Mufeng H. am 25. Juli 2017 für Adaptive Immune System
I would recommend this course. Hope there are more quiz questions available for optional choices.
Dr. Peter Delves is an amazing lecturer.
von Smirnov E. am 16. Juli 2017 für Innate Immune System
Dr. Peter Delves is an amazing lecturer. I wish there were more instructors like him. He is very methodical, starting with rudimentary concepts and building on them at pace that is comfortable for everyone.
Well explained
von Darlene G. am 05. Juli 2017 für Muscles of the Anterolateral Abdominal Wall – Abdominal Walls and Inguinal Canal
Used this to study for class and regular exams. Perfect.
Many of the questions in my mind were definitely answered.
von James T. am 04. Juli 2017 für Antibody Variable Region Diversity – Lymphocyte Development
Reading a textbook could be boring. The lecture nailed what I need to know.
great
von Francesco P. am 03. Juli 2017 für Recognition of Antigens – Lymphocyte Development
This topic is finally explained very precisely. I liked this lecture a lot.
Excellent quality overall
von Yustina F. am 22. Juni 2017 für Adaptive Immune System

Very helpful explanation....
I like it so much...
Es genial
von Neuer N. am 11. Juni 2017 für Innate Immune System
Me gusta el tipo de explicación que da, es concisa y acopla todo los conocimientos en una idea específica, sin rodeos
Excellent Course
von Anthony L. am 31. Mai 2017 für Innate Immune System
He ties everything together perfectly. He gives excellent examples. He is also very organized. I felt like my own class wasn't this good. But it also might be because I already read about immuno and used this more for clarification.
Excellent teaching by Dr Delves
von Marios L. am 24. Mai 2017 für Class Switch Recombination, Co-Expression and B-Cell Development – Lymphocyte Development
Dr Delves is an excellent lecturer. He makes everything simple and understandable. I like the fact that he raises his voice to indicate key words.
I have already recommended the whole curriculum to Medical Students in other countries
great!
von Niamh D. am 12. Mai 2017 für B-Cell Differentiation – Lymphocyte Activation
I felt that this was a very good lecture, with detailed relevant information!
Very Good!!

von Wonhee L. am 23. April 2017 für Immunoglobulin Genes and Recombination – Lymphocyte Development
The professor explains with clarity and organization which makes it easier to understand.
I recommed!
von Lucas S. am 21. April 2017 für Adaptive Immune System
The lectures are very complete and give the correct amount of emphasis according to the importance for the medical world. I've studied only using this course for my first exam and it was pretty much all I needed! I surely recommend!
very good details
von Nawaf A. am 26. März 2017 für Adaptive Immune System
this kind of learning cover all information the medical students need, i highly recommended for medical student.
Great overall review, needs more details.
von Isaac V. am 25. März 2017 für Adaptive Immune System
Great fast, overall review. I absolutely disagree with people saying there are too much details; in fact, I would have liked more details regarding specific processes.
incredible
von Harsh S. am 12. Februar 2017 für Innate Immune System

Awesome
von Bea M. am 07. Februar 2017 für Adaptive Immune System
I love these courses. I'm only a high school student, preparing to go to medical university. They help me to better understand biology or to be exact, human body. My mother tongue is not English which makes a little bit difficult to understand names in biology for example why T-cells called T-cells. Furthermore what I miss from the lectures are animations sometimes. I know I'm a kid, but animations help to visualize and learn things faster.
Great way to explain and communicate the ideas to the students
von Martin B. am 06. Februar 2017 für Pattern Recognition Receptors (PRRs)
Great way to explain and communicate the ideas to the students.

von Andrea B. am 02. Februar 2017 für Innate Immune System
This is my favorite professor on Lecture (that I've seen so far). He is enthusiastic and engaging in addition to being clear and concise. I leave each lecture with a clear sense of the material and I love that the videos are short so if I need a review it is easily obtained.
u da man
von Juan Carlos R. am 29. Januar 2017 für Innate Immune System
incredible once again, this professor is outstanding explaining the immune system in a logical, relatable fashion.
TOO MUCH DETAILS!
von Jake Bryan C. am 17. Januar 2017 für Diversity of Major Histocompatibility Complex – Antigen Processing and Presentation
Too many numbers and letters with no direct clinical correlation
Too many details with no explicitly stated relevance
Topics too segmented and poorly arranged
I am lost...
Too much details!
von Jake Bryan C. am 17. Januar 2017 für Cell Adhesion Molecules (CAMs) – Lymphocyte Recirculation and Homing
Great content but overwhelming. Too much details on the receptors and molecules got me lost in understanding the overall immune response. I appreciate the enthusiasm in detailing everything but the USMLE is devised to evaluate generalists and not immunologists.
Great work!!!
von Afolake A. am 01. Januar 2017 für Innate Immune System
An excellent explanation of a very complex topic. Absolutely fantastic lectures
Finally got the complement system
von Bjarni J. am 22. Dezember 2016 für Complement System
Had been watching so much on this and never understood it.
Great value
von Bjarni J. am 22. Dezember 2016 für Adaptive Immune System
Great course. Peter really explains the concepts. The genetics can get a bit dry, but when isn't genetics dry.
It is okay for introduction to immunology
von Kehinde B. am 11. Dezember 2016 für Adaptive Immune System
He took time to present the information. The video on adaptive immune system clarifies the difference between innate and adaptive immune system.
More structure please
von Iryna B. am 29. November 2016 für Adaptive Immune System
There could be a more logical structure, or, if there is, it could be made clearer. It is difficult to see how the various topics connect.
Very good resource to study basic immunology
von darine n. am 05. November 2016 für Innate Immune System
The lectures are really well organized
The 1-2mins introductory lectures before each topic are very helpful in situating the student in case he get lost.
The Diagrams are very well picked.
Commercial Break Study Sessions
von Stewart B. am 22. August 2016 für Adaptive Immune System
I found these lectures decent, the questions do a good job at reinforcing the material so more questions after each video would be an improvement. Definitely a large topic and its not organized the way my school taught it but it doesn't assume you know or remember everything which is good. I would recommend for the summer before year 2. You could study during commercial breaks while watching tv.
Missing some details
von Stewart B. am 19. August 2016 für Innate Immune System
The lecture was a bit of an overview of innate immunity. It was short and fails to cover the epithelial barrier, complement inhibitors, details of TLRs, cytokines, and signal 2 pathways. Still not bad for 40 minutes
Thanks.....

I am snd yr medical student. The immunology lecture series is easy to follow and well organized.
