 Adam Le Gresley, PhD

Adam Le Gresley, PhD

Dr. Adam Le Gresley is Associate Professor in the department of Pharmacy and Chemistry at Kingston University London.
Le Gresley was awarded his PhD in supramolecular organic chemistry by the University of Surrey in 2004 and carried out his postdoctoral research on photolabile compounds at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, USA, funded by the NIH.

He was appointed to the Faculty of Science at Kingston University in 2009, where he has been teaching on U/G and P/G courses within chemistry, pharmacy and the biological sciences for the last 6 years. In addition to teaching, Le Gresley maintains a small research group, funded by a number of industrial partners including GlaxoSMithKline with interests in NMR metabolomics, the synthesis of new in vitro diagnostic probes for problem pathogens and novel Rab7 inhibitors for the treatment of diabetes.
He is a regular reviewer for a number of peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to the development of courses across the faculty. Le Gresley was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2011 and subsequently to Associate Professor in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry in 2013.

 Kevin Ahern, PhD

Kevin Ahern, PhD

Kevin Ahern received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Oregon State University. Currently working as professor of biochemistry and biophysics at Oregon State University, he loves to write poetry and song lyrics. His previous works include “A Limerick a Day For a Year” and “Merry Metabolic and Miscellanic Melodies”. He is also a co-author of the popular biochemistry textbooks, “Biochemistry Free and Easy”.
 Thad Wilson, PhD

Thad Wilson, PhD

Thad Wilson is a Professor of Physiology and has been teaching medical students for more than a dozen years at Colleges of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA (Drexel University); Athens, OH (Ohio University), and Indianapolis, IN (Marian University). He has worked extensively developing and improving medical curriculums, as well as serving in leadership roles as a Medical Physiology course director and Organ System team leader. Professor Thad Wilson has been awarded multiple medical school teaching awards and previously was involved in both question writing and question reviewing for national board exams in the health sciences. He currently helps students prepare for medical board exams, in addition to his teaching and scientific pursuits. Professor Thad Wilson has coauthored over 75 peer-reviewed scientific articles as well as a physiology textbook, Lippincott’s Illustrated Reviews: Physiology, which has been translated into four languages and a number of electronic formats.

Carlo Raj has earned his MD at the Medical University of the Americas (MUA) and continued his medical career as international lecturer and author—both assisting MD Edward Goljan and later on his own. Today he is CEO of Indus Intellect, whose goal it is to spread medical knowledge across the globe.
