while visual aids were pretty cool, the lecture was more of narration but not with simplicity and in-depth tutoring i am accustomed to. I was hoping for more variation, which was the reason i spent a little more time watching them. After a few, i concluded that it wasn't doing it for me. But of course, it was only a few topics i reviewed as i was busy with clinical rotations. thank you all in all.

Professor Jared is a great teacher, he remains so calm and collected while explaining physics that really reassure us in our struggles with the subject. Highly recommend.

I'm so glad that am starting to learn physics with professor Jared, he's excellent. I used to use youtube and the organic chemistry tutor or khan academy to prepare for the Mcat,but professor Jared is at another level.

honestly, it almost looks like it was explained in the most unclear way I ever hear. on&off centers, no explanation on the laters of the retina, where did the signal send further by bipolar cells and maybe a little bit on the pathway could be nice probably a little bit more thinking need to be done here in order to makes it easier to understand

Sublime talk about so many topics,correlating systems, comming from the basics, using only one image, congratulations Dr Raj. Totally recommended and worth to watch over and over.

Slide 9 is problematic, specifically for the explanation of T2. "Perpendicular" is not a very good term. There is no aforementioned information that would help explain what T2 is that is given in this lecture. What should have been said if this was to be avoided would be, "Beyond the scope of this lecture".

Very clear and helpful to understand the physio. Dr. Raj's lecture also was great because he went step by step and explained the stages more like a story which makes it easier to remember.

This Professor makes this topic seem fun. He really seems to want his viewers to understand the material. He points out potential board questions while he teaches. It’s really great.

I like how the explanation goes, including the updates. Maybe if there is time, the staff can insert the updates in the lecture material. Lecturio is awesome. The repetition in the quiz is good for recall. My laziness to keep redoing the questions is being challenged and I have to do it because it is for my own good.

I felt as though these lectures were core. They covered areas that you can use in almost every system. I felt like they will boost my NBME score in a massive way. It helped me tremendously! I’m almost tempted to take an NBME just to see the effects, but not yet... I still have a little more ground to cover. I want to at least review all the foundational videos.

The narration is a bit fast animation and concept understanding is nice

Very annoying style of presentation. I do Cancer research for a living in the USA and I found a lot of problems with this presentation.

if i wanted monotoned reading i would have read textbooks instead of watching this video.

Dr. Raj speaks too fast to understand and his teaching style is strange making the concepts harder to understand than needed. He speaks fast through things we need to learn and slow through things less relevant.

Poor presentation. It's just like he is reading out from study material. Lacks concepts.

Dr. Meyer is a great teacher, a lot from my experience with his videos regarding the introduction to the mammalian cell however, this video definitely left a lot to be discerned and was not very informative. Required me to do a lot of googling to make sense of much of these... Hard to follow and disappointing.

I didnt understand it the first time I watched it, but after studying the textbook and watching it again, everything made so much sense. Having a better understanding in physics and ?pressure in the respiratory system also helps. That was truly a high yield lecture, but it's best if you watch it after doing some reading in your textbooks.

Sorry to say but I don't like any of the lectures given by Dr. Carlo Raj! I cannot understand his language and the way how he presents the theme and he always lengthens the time of presentation. I try to skip all of his videos, unfortunately.

Really nice lecture, clear and easy to understand, with a lot of examples.

Dr. Raj does a good job teaching and he does a good job of connecting the theory to clinical scenarios, but sometimes the lectures are not as easy to follow i.e. a litte bit disorganised. It would be easier to follow, if you had a script with some of the high associations with explanations. It would make it easier to follow. Also, there are some topics missing for basic pathology e.g. cell injury, necrosis and apoptosis. You should definitely make some more videos!

I gave a 5 reason because Physics has been a challenging course to me , especially magnetism. the way the concepts were broken down gave me a deeper understanding and i can now start to understand what i learned as an undergraduate. Keep it up.

I was struggling with this subject in school and he explains it so thoroughly.

Professor Wilson gives very good examples to explain each topic of the course. And he doesn't talk too fast, that is great because I can understand him very well.

Unfortunate that this lecturer is doing some very critical subjects— unlike other lectures, for his series I found I had to resort to other materials to understand difficult concepts.

In the lecture Thad says that ATPase is a V-type pump, but in the test it is a P-Type pump, which is correct. This pump is called a P-type ion pump because the ATP interactions phosphorylates the transport protein and causes a change in its conformation. There should be a review process to ensure accuracy before these lessons are released. Overall a great lecture, but details like this are important ones not to miss. Thanks!

As a Danish medical student, with English only as my second language, I admit, I had to spend some time "tuning in" on Dr. Raj's way of speaking. See, he's an extremely fast speaker, but as I did get used to this, I really learned to appreciate his way of teaching. Actually, his way of speaking kind of peaks my attention and focus, since my brain has to work harder for it. Thanks, Dr.!

I love the clinical application. It makes it so much more exciting to learn and remember because as Dr Carlos Raj points out it's not just memorising. I must say his way of speaking makes it even more exciting :) On a serious note though-mentioning how serious it is to act on dysplasia or when the BM is involved-we should be saying omg, and not looking at him. Looking forward to more lectures-wish he was lecturing the subjects to keep that interest and significance of the subject and our job.

Doctor Raj shows huge knowledge on the subject, but goes through some important and difficult points too 'en passant', as on details of cellular signaling and too many unexplained abbreviations (mpgn, e.g.). At the same time, quite a long time was spent unnecessarily reinforcing obvious concepts ( superoxide / phagocytosis etc). I'm strongly willing to better rate his lectures on the next courses.

Explanation was simplified which then made understanding of the topic at hand simplistic. However, an opinion of mine would be that human specimen images should be shown before the explanation rather than later on in the lecture .

It is interesting how Doctor Raj teaches you about the basic principles of cellular pathology and carcionogenesis. Sometimes it´s hillarious how he spends sometimes making funny comments that are related a lot with real troubles in medicine and it is also a valuable tactic aimed to help the students.

I love your lectures!! I'm studying the topic neurophysiology from the physiology subject (medicine), but it's everything much better explained here than just physiology. I understood everything perfectly!

I disagree with the comment below. I think he is a very good lecturer. Clear and concise. Yes, he does he have his unique gestures and tones, but so what? It's just different from the traditional, not wrong or anything. I found his lecture interesting. I don't think he was mocking anyone.

I like that the videos are shorts and high yield, but he is very difficult to understand sometimes.

Couple of mistakes were made and he sounds as if he is mocking the audience

Explanation of the T1 & T2 Terminology and how it works is lacking. Could have used way more slides to visualize this: MRI in Practice by C. Westbrook et al show how this can be done in Chapter 1. Important concepts which need to be properly explained, in this video it looks like it has been half heartedly done.

Very good lecture that covers one of the core principles of the vascular system through math, and gives a headsup for what might come to the exam. I would, though, like to see more than one example solved.

The past reviewers mistook his enthusiasm for arrogance. You can tell how much Dr. Raj loves what he does, and it makes it a heck of a lot easier for us. I wish I had discovered this sooner.

Dr. Wilson is very clear slow enough yet very focused and has concern with the understanding of the learner. He is super and goes to demonstrate as an example that fast-talking is not necessarily better.

It helped me understand the concepts. I suggest you to try it too.

He challenges you beyond what you expect. Keeps your mind working and relating the concept at hand to other crucial points; thinking on your feet is great.

The professor seems to be an expert in his field however his speaks a little slurred and sound monotonic. Otherwise its great!

Excellent principles of cellular pathology; some of the pharmacology was very US-specific but that's only to be expected. Greatly enhanced my understanding of cancer, genetic faults and other cellular pathologies in general, felt much more comfortable with my upcoming exams.
