honestly, it almost looks like it was explained in the most unclear way I ever hear. on&off centers, no explanation on the laters of the retina, where did the signal send further by bipolar cells and maybe a little bit on the pathway could be nice probably a little bit more thinking need to be done here in order to makes it easier to understand

I really enjoy watching these videos. The way dr. Pickering chops the information into little pieces to make it easier to comprehend. I also think he puts more emphasis on the structures that are clinically relevant. It's great how he uses the illustrations to guide us through the structures, however the quality of the illustrations are very poor and too small.

Hi Lecturio Team, Yes, I like it a lot neurophysiology by doctor Thad Wilson. Great presentation and explanation. In my view, the neurophysiology is one of the vital key of the medicine by knowing it and combining knowledge and skills with anatomy, pathophysiology and surgery you could figure out pathology in terms of when you facing patients with traumatic injury . In contrast when you seeing infected patient with contagious viruses, bacteria and fungi and so on, of course you need to immediately think about combining knowledge and skills of microbiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology and biochemistry. Yes, all courses are given so well presented. Yes . I certainly enjoyed it Lecturio as it has all components of courses which are important for every doctor who wants to excel their skills. Many thanks indeed for the course organizers, Showing on cadaver will be even better to get precise knowledge and skills.

The complexity of the subject makes it a nightmare to study a reference book or attend a lecture with someone who didn't know what they were doing. Dr. Canby saves so much time and explains the divisions and detailed classifications of the spinal cord with such ease it is impressive. I came across this app a month away from my finals because I didn't understand most of the neurosciences subjects. Trust me, I understood Neurosciences (including neuroanatomy from this course) in just a month way better than all my attempts during the previous 6 months. Very well done course! It integrates the mapping with clinical correlations on the spot and makes everything easy to memorize.

Presentation was really good . Extraordinary presentation needs a flow . It should be like a story . Like a natural history for any disease and more about evolution in case of treatment or intervention . Though the presentation had everything and was easy to understand but still from the student ( my ) point of view it was difficult to assimilate . Over all it was a fantastic lecture .

Hello Dear Doctor Canby. Brilliant explanation . And the demonstration is outstanding thanks for your time and effort !!! It is very important topic as well as we need to know a lot about brain in order to treat correctly and precisely rest of the body . I think 12 CN are given really well as well as cerebral cortex . I Interested in more about spinal fluid and how to improve content of the spinal fluid as we know it does give all the necessary nutrients to the brain . Some people have sudden seizures I wandered if possible to predict by taking and analysing their spinal fluid content! To avoid patient from seizure ! As every seizure gives really hard time to a patient and consequences are negatively affect to the brain cells of the individual . So better prophylaxis than cure. And I believe there is more effective ways to treat brain disease by knowing the pathogenesis of brain disorders . Many thanks for the great course about cerebral cortex. I'm a first year medical student and the lectures that we have had on the autonomics have not been clear or understandable at all. The set of lecture materials and the lectures that Lecture has provided has GREATLY increased my understanding and made my exam prep much easier.

I am really loving your lecture videos so much and the fact that they just simplify everything that seemed so hard to grab on just blows my mind. I really wish I was able to get the premium offer so I can watch every video I wish to watch because they are just what I know I need so much to get good grades in Medicine but the odds are against me.

It is the best class on brain structures I've had to date. However, what this and all the other reviews lack is better terms to more deliberately, precisely and succinctly REMIND the students of where each structure is and it's function EACH TIME it is discussed. The brain has ALOT of structures and respective functions that need to be understood and memorized. So that type of repetition would just be really helpful.

On point, efficient and easy to comprehend. Fantastic presentation by the professor. My experience comes from an african medical school with professors who spend 2 hours explaining major concepts that I end up spending extra time trying to understand. For example, the action potential video explained the concept for me in less than 10 minutes in comparison to the 1 hour irl lecture that led me nowhere.

Since there was a confusion regarding the actions of ocular muscles versus the cardinal gazes of movement when examining the intactness of ocular muscles, the video regarding this topic should be updated. And examples of exam questions pertaining between the difference of the two should be given. But overall, it was a good review!

Easy to understand. Loved the colors used to distinguish sympathetic from parasympathetic, that really helped.

Clear presentation AND good selection of figures to show both a. and v. circulation. It is an added plus that all figures have the names in latin and not English. In other of the anatomy videos (i.e. upper limb, brain) the names in English, whereas keeping it in latin is more international than English and makes us all think that we are treating a scientific topic with a long history. Keeping it in latin makes i more clear and less ambiguous than English. Keep names of anatomical structures in latin in you Lecturio lectures.

It's has really been great and productive except I had to go check Neuroanatomy because I am not yet well conversant with Neuroanatomy. I don't know how I can really grasp it! The confidence from Dr. Canby as many other Lecturio Presenters reassures the average student. I am particularly satisfied with the way the Lecturio courses are designed and presented. I highly rate this course because it is up to my expectation. If a student doesn't learn anatomy from this course he/she won't learn anywhere else.

I did like this course but in some cases, I wish the images were larger as I had to keep referring back to my netter because the ones shown were not clear enough. I've previously used the Grey's student to learn about the pelvis and perineum. Despite all the information provided I was unable to visualize and understand the placement of structures. Show the viewer the exact location you want to emphasize. If I turned this type of presentation in for a grade, I would get it returned. Kahn Academy, Ken Hub...this is as low tech as you can get. I expected so much more. You are supposed to save us time. I hate writing this but other people have to know that this lecturer's delivery - I might as well get a text book out and read it to myself.

Easy to follow lectures and also comprehesive lecture required for step 1 USMLE .

Each section was very concise and reminded me of details that I had forgotten. It also taught me the clinical application for each injury/condition. I use these as a supplement to my medical school lectures which I don't have time to rewatch 2 hours of lecture for 3 classes/day. It's also very helpful that each quiz is linked to the relevant material that I need to know.

I'm a visual learner and Dr Ahuja explains psychology and sociology very clearly and into layman terms. And I absolutely love the fact that the lectures follow the MCAT AAMC outline to the T. This takes out so much anxiety from me. I know that I'm covering everything needed on the MCAT with a highly qualified teacher and excellent production.

This series of lectures about the ear really need to be addressed, they make no sense, if you don't already have a complex knowledge of the ear. Once you have that this I guess is a good way to review, but then why am I paying for this for 2 years? If this is how it is supposed to be lecturio should be advertised as step prep company only, not as a supplement to lectures. Disappointed in the ear and hearing series of lectures.

Covers a lot of content accurately but concisely. Good speed and great use of diagrams. Admittedly, if I didn't know much about inner ear anatomy to start with, it would not have been detailed enough as a lot of concepts were not explained such as the semicircular canals, the utricle and saccule and the scala vestibuli and tympani.

Just not a good way to teach this topic! Sure the math thing works but tells you nothing except it works. Useless trick in my opinion.

I feel the anatomy lectures are rather "static" like simply reading the narrative or bulletin points to the audience. Instead, I think the anatomy lectures, especially as we are not learning by a cadaver to gain the tactile feedbacks, might be better designed in a more inviting/ interactive way. Bringing in more pathological relevance, e.g. showing schema/ video/ autopsy would be largely helpful. Or to the minimum, highlighting the knowledge of "high yield" and compare them on an anatomic picture/schema may also improve the learning experience of these topics. I like many Lecturio lectures nonetheless, but I think anatomy, and especially the neural anatomy lectures has a lot of space to improve in such way. Thanks.

I watched it to reinforce and know a little bit more about stroke besides the information that I already read in books or articles, because in lecturio I got more facts that I don't find anywhere else. And I would recommend it to my friends in med school since you can watch the videos or answer the quiz before you read about some topic or after, so you feel sure about what you know.

i am sorry guys but honestly i have a question is this doctor teaching for step 1 or either any thing related to the USMLE steps?? i don't think so he gives only general knowledge please dont waste our time on general information please you can just open first aid on neuro section and you will know what we are struggling about.

I consider it a ery shallow lecture, with very little info about costal attachemnts of the intercostal muscles, they don even show a sagital cut of the ribs to understand better the intercostal muscle attachemnts and origin.

Anatomy is explained best with annotated images and pointers on the various parts as the lecturer speaks. Not through tabulation of facts.

I started taking these classes beforehand since our course is only gonna start at Sept ao thought of studying something beforehand so I don't sit clueless once the classes begin. it's highly helpful and very well organized to follow even though you don't know anything about the topics .it everything from the basics in great detail and that's why I followed the lectures using the free trial.i do wish to access the rest of the lectures but since it requires payment I pulled back since I'm not currently that financially sound to make the payment since the college fee requires a lot of money.i wish I had free access to all the lectures .I've searched for good lectures online and I find lecturio the most promising online lecture class with precisely organized manner of classes and slides and even the diagram s and 3d models.hoping for more from you .at least make some more videos open to free access.a request from a beginner student.with lots of gratitude Been

Dull lecture that is presented badly with no useful insights. As another reviewer pointed out, it isn't worth watching Craig's content, you are better off going to Youtube for better content.

I think that you are lacking a lot of information. Only the basics are seen. But the complex issues are not mentioned or not described at all. If I compare these anatomical videos with other subjects, I have to admit that the quality is way worse than average.

Not sure what the other reviewers mean by a one star review. This is a very straightforward lecture and easy to understand. The math makes intuitive sense if you sit and think about it for a second. I don't see how this was rated 1 star.

I love the lectures. The only question I ask is that at the end of the reading lectures the questions of them I don’t know what the answers are. Is there a link for them? Is there more questions of each topic?

This course delivered a lot of information and useful techniques with regards to the analysis of CSF to determine the cause of meningitis and the rundown of most of the clinical presentations of these disorders. I also enjoyed having the summary at the end of each video to give an overview to each condition and the main points to remember about each. The actual pathophysiological teaching leaves much to be desired as do the slides themselves. Dr Raj is good at delivering things in an interesting way when he has the right slides. These ones are just text most of the time which makes things much less interesting. It would also be nice to get more of an insight into the pathophysiological mechanisms of each disease both macro and micro

Content of the lectures were useful especially when breaking down the components of each nerve. However, much of the lectures consisted of reading from slides which is entirely pointless as i can do that myself. It would also have been handy to include clinical testing techniques for each nerve as these will be important tests for us as doctors

Breakdown and delivery of the information was much better than many other lectures in this part of the curriculum. However, the lecturer seemed confused and delivered information in a confusing way towards the end. I also noticed that one of the tables in the slides changes suddenly to read something different and this confuses things further. Overall a lecture capable of delivering useful information in a concise way.

The lecturer made the laminae look simple and memorable and definitely gotta be watched by peers since it gives a simple breaking down of presentation that makes it more easier to store it up.

I personally didn't found these lectures much informative, the speed of the professor is extremely slow plus the slides provided in it has more than 55 pages lot of times for a single lecture instead of compiling it in a good way. Must work with the slides provided in the download items. The lecture would be useful if it would have engaged the whole thing clinically like which le forte fracture will be associated with rhinorrhea, etc.

I easily understood the topics which i found difficult in class. Dr. Shukle did not only give examples of prototypical drugs for each class but he also explained how they function by giving scenarios which are easy to remember.

I think you could have gone in a little more in depth into the structure of photoreceptors. There were also a few other cells, such as the horizontal cells which backpack onto parts of the visual pathway-this knowledge is essential to understanding concepts of contrast. overall i do think it was a good lecture, but a little more depth into the vitreous humour and the aquous humour would have also helped

The organisation of the layers of the meninges and outer regions of the cranium were well put together, but the diagram regarding in the infoldings (falx cerebrum...etc) was poor. I could find way better diagrams with a simple search onto google

As for the lectures that i ve watched on lecturio, this is below standard, however,with those that i have watched so far pharmacology and pathology are 100% just listening to the their lectures is enough, but here anatomy is 20%. One will reaaly have to rely on class lectures , notes, power points etc. Really, poor.

seriously these series of lectures are the absolute worst. no explanation at all, no physiopathology, no images...just a pathologist who seems to be severely under qualified to teach a comprehensive clinical neurology lecture , reading a bunch of bullet points off the most lazily prepared power point presentation. seriously strating to wonder what the point of lecturio is. I do the q bank right after the lectures and literally nothing that is asked is mentioned in these lectures.

Im sorry Dr Raj, I really enjoyed your cardiology series, but the neurology is subpar to put it politely. zero detail, just a bunch of bullet points and basic stuff a first year pre-med student already knows. no detail as to the pathophysiology, treatment or any of that. If I have to go back to biochem or neuroanatomy for all that then what's the point of this series?

Helped me a TON! Great quick easy overview of the Scapular bone, and was much easier to learn and understnad throughout this video. Much better understandment than my antomy class.

The lecture is great, really informative, loved it. The quiz has one of the questions as, what structure is NOT located within the sinus and the answer is given as ureter when the answer should be the calyx. As the ureter passes through the hilum and out the sinus, but the calyx does not exit the kidney.

Very clear and concise definitions of stroke vs TIA. I appreciate that Dr. Raj underlines the importance of TIA treatment as a risk factor for a stroke.

The lecturer is mostly reading the slides. The qbank could also be implemented with explanations about the alternatives.

The lectures were understandable and well organized presentation. Though few questions were asked, it help students recall things that had been thought. Furthermore, the presentation is separated into regions and it doesn't confuse the students.

I would recommend this lecture to the osteopathic students snd colleagues

Although a shorter one compared to the other videos, this was comprehensive and concise. I just hope they have a zoomed in/focused photo of the specific areas of the bones so it would be much clearer to identify the features.

These lectures were not very engaging - rather monotonous way of talking and a mixture of qualities of diagrams. In the lectures about the effects of lesions, the anatomy was shown in a very simple language, but then complex pathology terms were left unexplained (a few were explained, but the majority were not).

Dr. Pickering pointed out a few things that even my anatomy professor (who is excellent) did not. A very good lecture on the brachial plexus -- both short and detailed.

Hello, I usually don't rate lectures, but I had to do it here. The reason of that is that I found the certain video unable to make me understand the structures of the inner ear. Please be more specific and use better images, for example about what otoconia are and their use, the cupule etc. Despite of that I like dr. Candy. Thank you.

speaker contradicts himself several times an he not sure of what is written in slides example: in treatment of SAH he 1st mentions that watch for hypertesion hypervolumia and hemodilution then in next lecture he realized that HHH written in slides reffer to treatment strategy there are several other mistakes dont have time to elaborate also what ever is written in slides is not fully explained by speaker

I have watched the lecture series on the Abdominal wall and Thoracic viscera conducted by professor Craig, and he was more interactive and seemed to have greater Knowledge in those parts. This lecture is way too general and lacks many important info.

I found this lecture to be clear, concise and suitable as a complement to lectures, textbook and cadaver work. Could you make the diagrams and their labels a bit larger, as they are difficult to see on smartphone, and there is no zoom facility.

Definitely benefitted from the lectures. Just a small note, even when putting the video on HD and full screen, the writing is too small and blurry to see the labelled parts of various anatomical structures. Hope the resolution can be increased or labels increased in size.

These lectures are great! It's good to know also that a lot of topics that are discussed in one lecture are later elaborated on in another lecture too. Usually if I feel like some topic was not covered in depth, it just means that I was discussed further in another video. This is incredibly helpful for Step 1 prep!

I liked it very much as an introduction to CVA and to bring it all together. I watched the entire series before studying with textbooks to fill in the blanks. Carlo Raj is making sure I know what's important. If you expected to be finished with CVA after watching a few videos you will be disappointed no matter what you choose to watch.

After reviewing Neuroanatomy in FA and Kaplan, it is fair to say this lecture has delved deeply in some accurate key points of visual pathways.I really admire the fact that you guys have put on some quizzes in the end but I was surprised to see a red flag that goes unnoticed.In one of the question about the right lower optic radiations from the 5 listed, I saw right after radiation Meyer's loop in parenthesis which is clearly a mistake when it comes to asking questions.In the exam, they won't give any clues to test takers because they will have figure out themselves whether or not it is either Meyer's or Non-Meyers' loop.

If you have trouble understanding certain concepts, or need introducing, this course can serve you well. However keep in mind that the course can only serve as an introduction, as it contains very little details. Make sure you adequately read ans study from a textbook on top of this.

Way too general, you need to go into more details and explain more

average explanation. This course does not go into deep details. Anyone who lacks fundamental knowledge of the ANS will not be able to get everything the prof said. The questions are good but some lack explanations, others which have explanations, are not rich enough. The diagrams could be better. And the feedback feature of questions is removed. I think the answer to one of the questions which is shown as right is wrong and I could not give feedback.

there was no explanation other than reading off the slides. neuro is a serious topic that require good explanation but the professor didn't even relate slides or information and treated every slide as a new topic.

There are some mistakes. SERT is not a serotonin receptor. And Bupropion is not a SERT inhibitor.

I wish this is more about anatomy and less about diereses, as I am in this class right now for my primary objective I need to know the names of every muscles, every bones, what they do, every nerve, what they innervate, and every veins and arteries, also lymphatic and different glands in your faces the videos do not provide enough details and topics I am currently using Clinically Oriented Anatomy 7th Edition by Kieth L. Moore, comparing the knowledge from the book these videos give you almost nothing

Tons of mistakes in what seems to be all fields of Lecturio videos. It's a shame really. This one in particular goes on about the "virus" H. Influenzae. It's just tons of basic stuff that they really mess up. I wouldn't even use this as a free resource honestly.

Despite that Dr. Raj inaccurately recognized H. influenzae as a virus (which is actually a G(-) bacterium), he did a good job of engaging students in thinking and reflecting, while pointing out a general memory-aiding scheme ( e.g. common skin flora species being implicated in post-neurosurgery/penetrating trauma/CSF-associated meningitides) Having watched many of Dr Raj's videos (a med-student with high standards myself and always hateful of lackadaisical teaching styles of the MAJORITY of professors in my country), I have to say Dr. Raj exhibits excellent "mentor" qualities in a style of his own.

I thought this lecture series was very simple and informative, easy to understand but thorough. I appreciate the pneumonic provided, as well as the transcript notes available So we could go back and look and write things down as needed- I Was happy that the teacher spoke clearly and slowly, and that each segment was not very long so that you were able to take time to contemplate information before moving on.

if I don't know anything about para/symp nervous system, I wouldn't understand clearly. For example, in symphatetic outflow diagram, I wouldn't understand where the exact location of white or gray ramus in human body on the picture you used.

I understood SNS input and output quite well prior to watching this video. There are much better figures in textbooks to describe output pathways. I found the figure used a very odd departure from traditional figures and much more confusing.

Straight to the point and concise. World class lecturer. Really felt at home with it. Felt like I was studying from a very prestigious institution. I would love to recommend to all my colleagues. Just a small thing to note, it would have helped if we were told what plane the images are. It was mentioned for a few of them but others were not and took a little bit of working out like in the diencephalon lectures but otherwise top tier and nothing required too much effort.

Sometime the lecturer comes through clinical signs of patients with particular diseases and doesn't explain that sign, just introducs it to that disease. We need to know how that sign looks like when we encouter a patient so that we know how to deal with him.

Good and clear discussions on conditions related to the neck.

I find verything related to the brain and nerves to be very difficult to understand, but Dr. Canby makes it easy to get and this makes the whole learning process far more enjoyable. I don't know if it's just me but when I really like the lessons and the teacher, its much easier for me to pay attention and keep on listening.

Again this lecturer has all the important materials to entice students but lacks he ability to make and impact on our brains on important clinical correlations. Overall boring seems to be reading and not prepared and can't hold my attention with same low level emphasis on everything. The questions were helpful, but the lecture was more of a recital. There were no extra explanations, no little tips, no compare and contrasts, to aid and understanding and recall. It was during the second or third time I was watching the hypothalamus that I realised that both medial nucei had to do with appetite regulation and satiety, and lesions could lead to hyperphagia; as opposed to the lateral, whose lesion had the opposite effect, ie starvation. Same thing with posterior and anterior, which have opposing effects on thermoregulation. I had to really focus and repeat the lecture to spot that out. he could have highlighted such points during the lecture.

I work as an MD at the neurology department at Herlev Hospital, Copenhagen. I was looking for inspiration before I was supposed to do a lecture on CNS infections myself, for the medical students and young doctors at the department. Your lectures are not even close to being good enough or sufficient - there are WAY to many details left out, plus, explanations and clinical relevance is almost none. I couldn't use it at least, and had to dig deeper in my old books and in other lectures. Moreover, I don't get the way the lecturer speaks... he pronounces some words with a weird emphasis on specific words - making you almost feel stupid...

I learn better by listening and visualizing. So these lecturio lecture videos helps me a lot. Reading the text book after watching these is way better than trying to learn from the textbook alone. Also these video lectures aren't boring. they are very interesting. If someone is struggling to learn anatomy on their own, then I'd really recommend this for them.

Dr. Canby provides clear and concise discussion with regard to head and neck anatomy. This has proven to be a great secondary resource for my studies. As an M.D. student, the amount of information is vast, and these lectures provide a great supplement to my university materials. The most effective way I have found to use this material is by viewing the videos that correlate to my current coursework, completing the recall questions, and then reading through the associated articles that are provided throughout the course.

Concise and easy to understand as always! The trochlear nerve only innervates the superior oblique muscle, but Dr Canby's diagrams are excellent - far better than what we use in lectures! I'm a happy student!

During the first few lectures, I was hoping for more information on some of the muscles which were involved, and towards the end of the course, you included pictures of the muscles with their attachments which were very helpful. Thank you for including the clinical considerations too. I needed to search some information myself, such as the meaning of general somatic / visceral afferents / efferents, online. I had not studied this before. You began clarifying the role of these towards the end of the course, e.g. general somatic efferent has motor control. I like his calm delivery--and good content, of course. Drawing on the model really helped me visualize better than any other illustration.

I certainly liked the video format, where we can adjust the focus from the speaker to the slide, and use the cursor to aid in pinpointing the relevant aspects of the scapula. The only thing I found was missing was a little aside about the suprascapular notch, which was shown in the slide, but not alluded to in the actual video lecture!

Well Dr Pickering has presented the subject in such a lucid and organised manner that it becomes impossible not to fall in love with it and become dexterous in it at the same time. It was a wonderful experience with the upper limb. Hope I have the same fun with the lower limb!

good lecture- lost a star because illustrations are in latin. I do appreciate latin is completely acceptable to use in the context of anatomy, but in practice nobody uses latin terms and it feels outdated and counter-productive to learn the latin nomenclature. It would be much easier to follow if everything was in english ; a small point but it did slow me down when following this lecture.

I love Lecturio Anatomy lectures because everything that you see it's better and easy to learn. When I see all the names in the ATLAS I'm stressed, but then, when I watch lecturio it's easy because they explain you everything step by step not only theoretically!

Watching these is clearer, more concise, and far more efficient than going to any of my lectures. I easily learn in 5-10 minutes of watching Dr Raj what I would struggle to pick up in an hour of lectures at medschool.

The content of the anatomy videos are great, beautiful diagrams, well written sentences, but with due respect to the lecturer, he has no game and kills the lecture for me. He is basically reading the power points with nothing new to add to the lecture and the fact that he swipe the tablet for the next sentence to appear slows down the lecture even more. It's really hard to advocate for the program. The word of mouth is not helping here. Ive showed it to friends and they are not willing to purchase the course, not to mention I've reported 4 mistakes in the anatomy material so far. Im glad we have the 10 days testing period, because Im cancelling the subscription. It hasnt proved to me the material is worth $60.

A clear and concise overview of the fascial spaces. However, I think the coverage of the surgical access to the trachea was way too superficial. Details of the levels of relevant anatomical zones, and how to locate these areas in a clinical manner would've been greatly appreciated. Otherwise very useful!

Whilst useful for a brief introduction, I do not feel the lecturio anatomy programme in general provides sufficient detail to be a main-line resource. The videos are too brief and superficial in content to adequately prepare a student for internal examinations, let alone to an NBME standard. The presentation itself is clear and ok.

I'm not sure if this topic will be covered in neurosurg but serious detail lacking. First of all no definition what a raised ICP is and how best to diagnose. No clear explanation of the underlying cause ie mass effect (tumour, abscess), vascular (hypoxia, hypercapnia, venous flow obstruction), hydrocephalus (obstructive vs none), pseudotumor cerebri. It would have been useful to discuss shunts in the treatment as well and when you may consider inserting them

I would like in the future for a discussion regarding the use of mini-mental state examinations as it is an important part of the work up of a patient with memory impairment. I was surprised not hear about the cautious use of neuroleptics in Lewy body dementia. I would have like to learn more about the clinical utility of neuroimaging and when you would use them? Finally, It would have also been good to tackle prion disease

Really comprehensive talks on the various movement disorders. I would have liked to see video examples of each movement disorders for completeness

The course brings the general ideia of the anatomy content with interesting clinical correlations. Although, the lectures could be more detailed, specially in vascular anatomy. I also suggest more precise images.

Great lecturer and keeps it simple with step by step. Also his slides are very simple yet thorough thereby not confusing the student with too much content per slide.

Good summary of the topic but would have been also good further discuss some of the immunosuppresive agents and fingolimod. In the dx workup section the use of MRI was also omitted

I really enjoyed the overall topic. Good balance of detail. What I suggest for future revisions is to expand the criteria for when you would prescribe AED for example aside from 2 eps pts with focal abnormalities or underlying conditions that cannot be remedied or patients with abnormal EEGs may be started on these agents. Furthermore, impact on driving and occupation could have also been included. Finally, I would love to see a separate section focused secondary cause of seizures.

It would have been good to further discuss migraine headaches and tensions headaches. I would have like to learn more about the features of aura (incl scotomas). Moreover, a discussion on what constitutes medication overuse headache is warranted given the ease of access to OTC analgesics. Finally an opportunity has been missed to discuss if which circumstances you would consider the use of prophylactic therapies

Not sure if there will further talks on haemorrhagic stroke but significant omissions evident. For example target for BP lowering, discussion of management of complications incl vasopasm, raised ICP, seziure prevention. Work up of patient wasn't clear ie the use of lumbar punctures in high clinical suspicions but ct equivocal

I enjoyed the series on ischaemic stroke but it would have been great to discuss in more depth the secondary management of stroke in particular blood pressure targets and agents with the most supportive evidence for use (e.g ACE-I). I also note that there was an omission about the best way to manage BP in the acutely hypertensive patient post stroke. Despite theses as always good taster of the topic. I appreciate the challenge of work that goes into producing these contents

Since anatomy is a very difficult subject and very vast, I think that Canby does an excellent job at slowing down and being concise. This lecture hits all the key points as well as ask relevant questions to help retain the information.

Lectures on Anatomy of the Heart was more concise, very comphrensible and corresponded with Last Anatomy textbook. Upper Limb Lectures wasn't as concise as Lectures on The Thorax( Heart). But I am very grateful to Lecturio for making my learning more simplified....

I liked the lectures very much . The in-depth classification of bones,muscles and associated systems surely was great. The clarity in voice and imaging helped me understand a great deal on appendicular skeleton . And i also scored great marks in the tests conducted on the topic anatomy of upper limbs at the university. Surely lecturio is the best choice for all medical U.G students. Good videos, but incomplete for a full head and neck series - does not include important structures such as facial and trigeminal nerves, more on neck dissections - which are crucial for understanding head and neck anatomy

I picked this rate because he gives detail about the neck and parts of the neck. I really like this for a 9th grader it's helping me learn more for med school. Please do more videos, not just for me, but for people that want to be something when they make it to med school or college. This website is very helpful in many ways like: when you are on the way to school and your have a test about the human body, or when you just want to study for a test a week or two away. I plan to keep using this website for important chooses in my life. I want to be able to help people with their problems and give them information. I don't want to go home and be that one person with a dream and not go for it. the lecture was way to short. The information was very general. Please make the lectures more detailed and more interactive..maybe actual drawings being drawn as the lecturer is explaining. Also to specify on the detailed part which i mentioned, it would be much better if he explained each neurotransmitter.

Good lectures with overall easy-to-understand structure The images on the slides are very good, better than in most atlases I just wish we could have the tables (muscle insertions, origins, nerve supply) as a PDF or something

The course is highly organized and given in a concise way. Also, the practice question and the discussion inside the video are very helpful.

This course was really good to understand with my knowledge of upper limb of arm.

I really liked the way that the Professor explains but I believe there are things missing in the course. For example, the microscopic aspect of the brain stem. I think that Neuroanatomy is a very crucial course in Med school and worth giving a little more emphasis. Thank you for helping me out !
