Dr. Sussman’s lecture style is calm and well paced. She is informative w/o the “drinking from a firehose” effect. Her visuals are perfect for “mind maps”. I’m using this program to prep for ABIM renewal. It’s an excellent tool. I would definitely recommend it to a colleague.
by Jalil Z. on 2021-03-08 for Vesicoureteral Reflux (VUR) and Types of Reflux Excellent lecture. An important topic in pediatrics. I'm glad it is explored in such details. Thank you!

Amazing. Very detailed and clear explanation. Thank you very much!!
It was great to hear in step by step manner how this disorder develops and How patients are presenting with this disorder! Thank you very much.
Great doctor that i have ever seen in my medical career.
Great lecture!! So easy to understand and so easy to memorize the different stages according to the picture.
I really appreciate how comprehensive the course is, including the power point notes and the additional resources. I also appreciate the visuals. The subject is explained very clearly, and the case examples help with applying the knowledge in the clinical setting. My NP program truly lacks lectures and lecture notes to facilitate learning, which is unfortunate. With my program, I feel I have little to no guidance other than assigned readings. Reading a whole text book doesn't help with memory retention, as people have different ways of learning. I think Lecturio does a good job at ensuring the courses are effective for all types of learners. I'm definitely going to continue using Lecturio during the duration of my program and preparation for the board exams.
I liked the illustrations and the animations. the lecture was on point and easy to understand
Thank you, Professor Richard Mitchell! This lecture was extremely accessible and very clearly taught. Even though I am watching this on a laptop, I get the sense that Prof Mitchell is very friendly and really wants to help students understand. I found the video very useful :)

The lectures are short and captivating. The illustrations help a lot
Perfect online source to be trusted on, i have used these informations at the hospital im getting trained and its amazing.
Concise but still covers all clinically relevant points. As expected of Dr. Richard.

Not enough topics for Adolescent Medicine Exam. Needs more videos. Needs typical Board questions to review. There should be easier ways to find other topics and quick linking to appropriate videos.
Understanding that orbital cellulitis typically comes from sinus infections, whereas preseptal usually comes from the skin is helpful.
So cool, so funny, making it easy. Love this professor
This is a very important topic in my country (Guatemala), thank you Dr Richard.
Awesome It explained it down to the nitty gritty aspects Much appreciated
I did not know it was possible to teach so well as Dr. Sussman does. Even though nephrology is my least favorite part of internal medicine, it is so well explained that I actually enjoy learning it. This lecture, like all others, is so masterfully organized and explained that I can easily process the concepts and correlate them with everything else I have learned so far.
Great overview of the condition, symptoms in various age groups, and treatments.
When was it mentioned that a ratio of 15:1 is suggestive of tubular injury? I don't think this lecture give enough information to us to specifically call this a ATN. Confusing.
Too good, is what I was looking for the topic
Very nice I like your way of teaching Thanks for you very much for the information you provided
I would recommend to others in the workup of diverticulitis
Easy to understand, straight-to-the-point lecture! I wished I had seen this when I was doing my IM rotation.
This lecture was informative and engaging. The speaker did an excellent job of presenting the material in a clear and concise manner, making it easy to understand.

It serves as a good introduction to working in the intensive care unit.
Muy clara exposición y muy práctica. Sinceramente gracias. En general todas las clases de la profesora son muy buenas.
really want to learn about SIADH, oh,,,, Dr. Raj. hard stop
I enjoyed watching that video and I refreshed my knowledge. Its length of time is very suitable and in the time very useful.
I am a professor of medicine and have used Lecturio to review areas outside of my expertise and see how others judge the depth and breadth of material felt appropriate for medical students that I do teach. My concerns are occasional factual errors and slightly misleading or unexplained visuals. However, the presentations are, overall, of high quality and very well delivered. Making more basic science-clinical science correlations and explanations would be great but also very difficult in this format. The case based presentations are well done. For students using this as a main resource, they should be sure to use the provided textbook recommendations and answer all the questions provided, not just those in the lectures. That would deal with all my minor concerns. Medicine cannot be learned with just a series of 5 minute lectures, no matter excellent they are.
Hello lecturers Team Brilliant lecturers from Dr C. Raj. Especially differential diagnostics in terms of pathology. And diff diagnostics are outstanding.
Hello Lecturio team I am very much appreciated the Renal Diagnostics by Dr. Carlo Raj. A very detailed way and with clinical examples. Overall, lecturio courses have a very deep logics in it. Particularly Dr Rajs has great way of explaining and very much captivates your attention, because he explains and seeing problems from many angles if you like , almost like a MRI scan. I also watch in my language as well.
Exceptional acumen in anticipating difficulties and nuances in learning the different concepts involving biliary pathology.
This here is the best definition of study smart. I like the paediatrics lecturer. He makes every topic so easy to understand.
I really like pediatric pulmonology because the lectures are clearly presented
The lecture is clear and i understand it. Am looking forward to see Np question review
Excellent course by the best professor on Lecturio I've seen so far in terms of explanation and concise statements and doubt clearing.
Best Section in the whole lecturio! High Yield and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole course therefore highly recommend it.
Es muy directa y está muy bien explicada. Pocos puntos negativos presenta
Updates filled in the gaps needed for the topic mentioned.
I loved this lecture...it really consolidated some of my scattered and disorganized 'knowledge'. It was simple but logical and easy to apply to what I already knew. An excellent refresher.
I think the anatomy could have been explained much better. I found myself constantly pausing the video to find the specific structures mentioned in some parts.
It is very interesting one. But the number of vedios who can be freely accessible are very low. We who are living in low income countries have no the option for perimium subsribition
Video lectures were quite informative and helpful . The presentation is clear for the intended audience
The explanation for craniosynostosis was very good. I wish there was more information on Arnold Chiari Malformation.
I like the clear explanation and breakdown of the topics. I think the other lecture for Granulomatosis with polyangiitis is a little more specific, like chronic sinusitis and pneumonitis +/- cavitary lesions.
Brian is incredibly clear as a communicator and the lesson is fantastic
Excelent explication! I really like the explication because it has all the hiperkalemia trastorns explained perfectly!
Concise, informative and accurate information presented in a clean and easy to learn format
Excellent lecture, very clear and well explained. Thank you so much!
It is perfect .. Dr. Brian Alverson has a simple way to deliver informations. The course realy help me to achieve my goals. Thank you
Simple but clear and straight to the point explanations. After watching these videos I didn't have to go back to my lecture notes.
I went through these videos as I was revising for. My pediatrics rotation exams and it really helped me a lot.
Very well explained and simplified. I would definitely recommend Lecturio presentations to my fellow medical students.
me gustó el video esta muy bien explicado y creo que esta todo lo necesario que necesitamos saber sobre enfermedad celiaca
Mon ami, magnifique! Doesn't Require me ten words to say it.
Bravo Bien entendu, of course. The pieces slowly coming together whith each lecture. Adh chemical from brain regulating water channels TAL upstream DCT downstream concentration/dilute Salt/water Sure there is a canal chamber lock analogy here somewhere. These little grey cells.
Dr. Raj is breaking this down and is the reason I will likely resub my lecturio. Clear, concise, and engaging.
4.5/5 Excellent summary of most GI pathologies, perfect if you want to refresh your memory. Great slides and presentations. Concise and to the point. I would have given it a 5 if the slides were complete but that's more of a technical problem. Thanks!
This is an excellent lecture that integrates other body systems and applies the effects to the kidneys. Understanding where and why all of the hormones act on the nephron was thoroughly and expertly explained. Very, very well done.
I like the value information and the methodology of the teacher. He explain it in few minutes with examples.
It was succinct, clear, and concise. The lecturer even replied to my question.
The lecs are very well explained and makes it a lot easier to understand the concept well
GREAT WORK LIKE YOUR IMAGING VERY MUCh Suggestion Close the lesson with an point form review with the key factors from symptoms till medications .....would be very usefull for me. Thank you
He manages to present the key information in really short time without lacking explanation where it might be needed. All of his lectures are wonderful, no exceptions.
Amazing!!!! Thank you Dr Raj. Please keep his pathology series and also the associated physiology review.
This is nothing short of amazing, Dr. Amy Sussman is a rockstar, world class lecturer. Clearly explaining difficult clinical concepts and pearls in the most concise and brilliant cases. She even replies to our questions. The best Nephrology lectures out their p.s Made me stand out this morning in ward rounds as a student
I couldnt understand the pathology for so long. I am so glad for the clear diagrams and interesting talk.
The lectures are pretty good but many of the ddx are dependent on the histo, EM, IM, etc findings. PLEASE provide a pointer for future lectures. Simply describing what we should be seeing is not as helpful - it's difficult to follow along.
FOR THE INTERESTING WAY TO EXPLAIN I RECOMMEND IT TO MY COLLEAGUES
Thank you. well organized. risk of progression was a good add in.
Interesting lecture. I learnt alot in this lecture. Thank you so much.
Tetralogy Fallot becomes an easily understandable condition with the lecture of Doctor Brian Alverson. I can now explain tetralogy of Fallot by myself with ease without learning it by heart
Excellent but there is missing like your should express pathphysiology of important sign symptoms like why that particular sign is happening in disease then it will be a grear job.
Dr Alverson is an amazing lecturer. I'm watching this lecture series again now that I've finished my pediatrics course simply for the fun of it.
She is good. Like her approach to explain things and going back to basics.
4 it is my marks regarding this general surgery part starting from the interface system, very nice and briefly reviewed of each chapter which makes this surgery part lovely
Brief and easy-to-follow introduction to pheochromocytoma. Very clearly presented with great visual aids!
Dr. Sussman does a wonderful job explaining a very convoluted topic!
clear easy but too fast. when i put it on 0,75 speed it was much easier to comprehend.
Just I need to get this course for my exam and i am progressing with Dr.Raj confidently...Thanks for all
Amazing lectures. Only complaint I would have is that some topics are missing but otherwise the explaining is very clear and concise. It is very helpful !
Dr. Alverson along with Dr. Raj are the reason I joined Lecturio. Together, they got me covered in pediatric and adults. Dr. Alverson’s grasp on everything pediatric is such that he is able to convey every piece of information clearly and precisely and more importantly makes it stick. I can easily recall information I learned from him not because I have great memory (I don’t) but because he is that kind of teacher. I know you know which kind I’m talking about. I’m considering pediatrics so he’s basically my idol currently.
This is very helpful. Well organized and taught - I learned a lot
I like this material Professor was very nice Good lectures
I would like to have more depth on the clinical presentations and differential diagnosis as well as more information about the Therapie plans, decision making and type of surgeries. It would also be perfect since it is an online education platform to add an optional Real Operations Videos for e.g. for Appendectomy or Whipple OP or …etc.
Thanks a lot for this lecture. I found it very useful.
Excellent presentation Complete information So easy to gain what we need easily and rapidly
As a Gestroentrologist, I would like to say it helps to repeat the important points in GI system. Good luck and more success in the future.
Professor Alverson has an excellent rendition style. Pleasant rhythm, voice, and pause. His mastery of the subject seems obvious to me. I learn so much from his lectures each time. Thank you, Professor!
That very well summarized and understandable, very good way to reinforce knowledge
easy to understand .the lectures are short and this is very elpful because long lectures are tiring ,especially if you are tired after difficult work day.
Is a good review of the disease, focused on what's important
great lecture great teacher great lecture great teacher great lecture great teacher
Dr. Sussman is a premier presenter. She is enthusiastic about her specialty. I feel that she's speaking directly to me rather than lecturing to a camera. The information is critically important and up-to-date for both experienced clinicians and those preparing to pass their boards.
Dr Carlo Raj is excellent teacher that manages to keep me both attentive and interested in the topic. He seems to have a good understanding of key topics and what is important to medical students.
Easy to use ..the quizzes after videos are helping me to concentrate
Professor Amy Sussman's course on nephrology in general, and this section in particular, is well-organized, clearly explained and made such a difficult topic easy to understand and a joy to study.
I enjoyed the fact that the videos are short and hold my attention but they are also packed with the required and necessary information I like that there are questions after each video and an opportunity to jot down any notes from my head . These notes are preserved A transcript of the video is also available so that I only need to liste and focus on the video without worrying about taking any notes !
Best DM1 lecture I have ever seen! Thank you so much Dr Alverson!!
After attending all lectures, I'm able to do my surgery rotations with confidence. Thanks to Lecturio and all professors spreading knowledge through this platform.

This course is interesting, engaging, pleasant, loaded with memory tools that make learning so much fun.
Dr Anderson is a great teacher and helps one build the knowledge platform while showing the needed, key or "take home" points! Thanks! DocWillis.org
man i really find it hard to understand the lectures
Great class! I loved how clear it was, and how the key points were highlighted
I like it because it's so clear and comprehensive and watching the lectures taught by best rank US teachers makes you feel you won't miss anything you should know, but in my country(Iran) the reference text book for pediatric in medical school is Nelson Essentials of Pediatrics, 8th edition, and i think lecturio is a bit different from it,what's your reference?
It was nice to have the basic definitions of kidney terminology. Also the lecture was clear and detailed.
top lecture very usefyl. why is it so diffiucult to leave reviews. trying to study here
Well, she describes diseases by very comprehensive way where we can use these fruitfull informations in our basic rutine. Finally, I am going to recommend this side for those doctors who need more improvement in both clinically and theoretically.best of luck
Well, it is very comprehensive and skillful metod not only for medical student but also for postgraduate doctors. I have learent more then ever I have tried im my life. Best of luck
I'm sorry but I can't seem to understand him, it feels like he's revising the new subject to me instead of teaching it.
It is a very informative and well-organized presentation of UTI. Thank you!
All of her lectures are clear and concise, and the cases allow us to come up with our own answer before she explains them.
Well explained .Full of concepts and differentials.and gud humour

Dr. Chuang explains management and treatment well and provides more detailed information in the Q&A which is helpful for understanding and solidifying the lesson.

very useful lecture. The graph is very informative and helps one understand renal physiology.
I wish this course included more details & more explanations. It feels rushed through and superficial, although it may be enough for preparing the step 2.

It’s an amazing course. It helped me a lot to focus on the most important concepts of my university lectures. Also, this doctor makes pediatrics enjoyable an easy to understand. I absolutely loved it !

I dont know why this is rated poorly. This is excellent and explained well in terms of symptomology and diagnosis.
great explanation and lecture. I think its very well illustrated and explained.
Excellent speaker! Clear, thorough, and made difficult subjects easier to understand. I really enjoyed her videos.
Good explanation of drug side effects and easy to remember
The content is amazing, the videos are short and high yield Things I'd change: 1. Add a refresh of physiology on the different disease explanations 2. Dosing protocols on the treatment videos 3. A more protocolized approach regarding diagnosis and treatment of diseases. For example: Diabetes, how do you diagnose it, how do you treat it (with the most common treatment modalities), special considerations of the treatment (insulin regime choosing and dosing) and lastly what paraclinical aids we can use to confirm or rule out the disease we think and its complications (where applicable: Ej: creatinine in diabetes to rule out kidney failure)
Liked Dr Sussman’s lectures - made it interesting and easy to remember Her passion for what she does comes through her lectures

I think that Dr Raj is simply amazing because he has the ability to make even the most intricated concepts clear and easy to understand!
Excellent lecture, key topic in pediatrics. Well-structured, easy to remember. Thanks!
Excellent lecture. Best explanation I heard so far of the disease. Thanks!
Good lecture. All the necessary information for primary care resident is there. Thanks!

The case was explained well and the reasoning for the management explained so it is much more memorable.
really well explained. simple and informative, not too complicated. management helpful
Short but to the point. Good summary, easy to remember. Thanks!
Excellent lecture, as usual! Thank you very much! Easy to remember
VERY INTERESTING METHOD, NOT BORING AT ALL! THANK YOU DOCTOR
very simple and clear the beginning of the lecture tells you immediately what a coomb test is, and the deep explanation is done as if the Lecturer were explaining something to a child
Very general video, I feel a little offended because of the low quality of the description given by the lecturer.
great lecture series thanks a loot, helped me to truly understand the things going on in the nephron plus some pharma and great pathology overview ,highly recommended
A lot of repetitions which make it perfect to memorize, normal speed of talking - not too fast, not too slow
Explanations are great, but some videos are so shorts long, it would be great if there is an option to view longer time or the some videos together
Couldn’t be done better thank you dr raj ,very helpful
This is the caliber of teachers that you guys need for all of your courses. She is phenomenal. I’ve been through multiple post grad degrees, lots of schooling, and this professor is one of the best I’ve come across. She conveys the material very professionally and breaks down the topics in a highly understandable manner.
Good lectures. Could be a little more in depth, but good
Nice lecture! It is actually helping me a lot! Best Regards from UFMT-Sinop Med School, Turma 5
Very very very awesome To the point, 5 stars Excellent doctor
90 percent of the stuff she says is written on the lecture , she does not add anything to it , does not explain anything . The lectures are very simple and not in detail , not good for med students
Dr. Alverson is wonderful! I really enjoyed this brief but informative lecture! Thank you!!
Very interesting and engaged lecturer who makes a complicated illness easier to understand! Thank you!
Very precise and lecturer makes the subject interesting! Thank you so much!
The content of this lecture series in inadequate. I would have been helpful to be exposed to other aspects of ICU in great detail such mechanical ventilation and haemodynamic monitoring (basic non-invasive and invasive monitoring)
Very clear, simple and easy to understand. And there is a relative translation which is suitable for beginners
I love the way the topics are explained in detail, how I am given an idea of what to expect from the specific lecture before the lecture starts going into detail...and also the fact that there are subtitles is a plus for me, because it helps me not to lose focus easily
The lectures of GIT are very short and few, Respiratory and CVS are very good , And Other doctors explain everything more clearly and in detail but GIT Every lecture is about a minute or two And the doctor does not explain almost anything she only reads what is written in the lecture .
Concise, clear and current. Question bank are relevant to practice and practical.
Best teacher in lecturio , she help me alot , thank you
Definitely one of the best speakers I saw in Lecturio! Speaks clearly, concisely, well and the concepts are really the most important ones

Well-explained, clear, easy to remember. Important complication of oligohydramnios! Thank you!
I particularly liked the differential diagnosis. I would have preferred to see them organised by ethology (infectious, etc.) and to have an explanation for the surface tension. I understand the concept but I think it's worth more details. That being said excellent lecture. Thank you!
A very important topic in neonatology, very clear. Thank you very much!
This topic deserves a series of lecture due to its multi-systemic nature. Thank you!
This topic in pediatrics does deserve a series of lecture for its multi-systemic injuries. Thank you!
One of the typical "pediatric" disease. Also hits multiple systems. It's good that there are several lectures dedicated to it. Thank you!
I think it's a good overview of eating disorders and is good enough for screening. However, for this topic I would have liked it to be deeper because it's a psychiatric problem.
Very important topic. I particularly liked to hear your opinion about Flumazenil. Thank you!
A topic which is not often enough talked about in pediatrics. Very common, though. Thank you!
I liked the cases and the detailed explanation for each of them

Brilliant. Once again the view from afar gives a clearer understanding of the whole topic. What I did not understand are the indication for Beta-blockers, Digoxin and Flecainide. Thank you!
I understand the comment of the previous student. However, I think the goal of these lectures is to give the appropriate knowledge to use as a resident. It's not really important to know more details about it. When a patient has a tachycardia, it's important to know if it's physiologic or pathologic and the cause of it. So the lecture helps to determine the physical origin which helps to point to the cause. Thank you!
These are the best explanations regarding bradycardia that I heard of. I would have liked to hear more about other drugs that could cause bradycardia though. That being said, I think that now I cannot forget the different blocks. So thank you very much! Also cool that the case of neonatal bradycardia is talked about.
Excellent lecture as usual. I would have liked an explanation on why the pain is relieved when the patient is leaning forward in pericarditis. I liked the emphasis on the overlap between myocarditis and pericarditis. Thank you!
Excellent lecture, I think it's a group of disease which is not often spoken about.
Excellent lecture as usual. I would have liked to see the epidemiology (and mortality) but the info concerning the ethology and clinical presentation is enough to raise the suspicion of myocarditis in a sick child.
Excellent lecture as usual. I particularly appreciated to have the epidemiology and the clinical differences between the different organisms.
This lecture made once again a complex topic seems a simpler one. I understand the teacher removes as many numbers as possible and I appreciate it. However, I would have like for this chapter a bit more statistics regarding prevalence. Thank you!
I think it's an excellent lecture. However, I do agree with another member, I would have liked to see for these diseases the prevalence number of the diseases. Otherwise I think the relevant information to think about the disease is in the lecture.
I know I'm keeping saying "excellent lectures". That's the way I feel I about them. Thank you!

Excellent lecture. Crystal-clear on all levels. It gives me the confidence to have an informed opinion on Pertussis next time it comes in the differential diagnosis.
Excellent lecture. Really helps to dispel all the myths around M. pneumoniae. It does really seems like management is going to change in the upcoming years regarding this disease.
Excellent lecture as usual from a master teacher. The most important points about management are highlighted. It would have been great to hear the teacher's opinion about PO vs IV treatment, indications of drainage in case of empyema/abscess. Otherwise, I particularly liked the part about which vaccinations, why they are preventing pneumonia. Very well stressed I think. I'm going to use this when discussing with parents.

I feel more confident in dealing with proteinuria in the ER now.
Excellent lecture. Nephrology is a topic that is often obscured by the teachers in this field I met. This is not the case in this lecture. Let there be light ;)
Great lecture. Everything is great about this lecture: the questions and the reasons them, the differential diagnosis, the labs and imaging. Explanations are clear and after that lecture I feel more confident to diagnose possible causes of hematuria.
Great lecture. It's very useful for the differential diagnosis. Very clear differences between the two conditions.
I enjoyed the overview and the clear explanations of the different diseases. I would have liked more details concerning the clinical exam. However this lecture does serve the purpose of giving the student a clear view of the most common paediatric diseases.
I particularly liked the table with the difference in headaches with age. Very useful!
As usual, Dr. Alverson is able to bring to the lecture the most relevant elements needed for the daily practice.

Clear classification between small, large and tension. Clear risk factors of spontaneous PNE. All in all, I learned new things to appropriately diagnose and manage PNE.
Very good lecture. This allowed me to transfer my knowledge from the adult medicine to pediatrics regarding PE. However, I would have liked more info regarding the link with DVT and the clinical aspects of PE in children like clinical cases maybe and also a part about management. That being said I do understand it is not a typical pediatrics disease as it can be in adult medicine.
The way of teaching, powerpoint, even the way she talks is amazing. She explained points clearly, and I really love the pattern of beginning at a case first then goes to the topic, it really helps for understanding
She is very clear, but the video of the pathophysiology is very short and is the only video that I do not understand. Thank you Lecturio.
One of the best lecture. It makes many things clear. However, I feel there is one part that is missing: the compensation of fluid loss based on the estimated dehydration state. Everything else is great and much better info that I encountered before.
Very clear explanation of what are the hallmarks of the three degrees of dehydration

All of her lectures are awesome , she should make more lectures , wonderful teacher
Great lecture! Concise, informative, clear. Perfect lecture for a resident in the emergency hospital setting.
Great lecture! Concise, informative, clear. Perfect lecture for a resident in the emergency hospital setting.
Reviewing for my NP certification and this is an excellent resource.
Very good lecture. As usual: clear, concise and comprehensive. I put 4 stars, because contrary to lectures about Asthma or Bronchiolitis, I felt that the experience of the teacher did not enrich this lecture as much as it did in the previous above. Otherwise, it is still top-notch learning material.

Dr. Sussman is great. She made it feasible, for a beginner like me, to learn the foundations of very complicated diseases. Thank you very much.
Hi It was great because of good questions. I recommend to you to use more video's and animated slide's in your lectures. Thank you
Hi It was a good course but not complete because it has not enough questions in it's quiz. I wish I can watch the complete course. Thank you
Another great lecture, where all the following are covered: - Myths: oxygen, etc. - Asthma vs Bronchiolitis - Pavalizumab - Current literature on brochiolitis - Experience from an advanced practitioner I work in a Swiss hospital and even though we follow as much as possible the AAP recommendation, we are not all the time up-to-date.

I don’t know how you guys do it. Keep it up.
Thank you. You have been helpful. God keeps you safe.
Great lecture! I learned tons. It shows that the instructor masters the topic and is able to give a clear and easy-to-understand picture. I now feel much more confident for these situations and more able to integrate the local guidelines now that I understand better the general concepts. Thanks!

High yield facts, great for closed book examinations. Loved the bonus mnemonic! Thank you for your work!
Excellent lecture, thank you very much! I particularly liked the parts where you share your personal experience and opinion: the glue, suturing and the sedation parts. Clear and concise as usual.
All your lectures are excellent and it shows that you deeply care for children. I'm reviewing this one in particular because this is a difficult topic and I think you excelled in the choice of topics, the tone and advice for young paediatricians. I'm talking about the whole "child abuse and neglect" lectures. I'm going to review more. Thank you!
it was a though topic in the past, I was trying to remember things just by lecture, but you make me clarify all of my doubts, thanks a lot, I wont forget the topic
The content is great, it's just hard to understand. Dr Raj knows a lot, but it's hard to understand everything. So it's like a Ferrari without wheels, you have the power, but it struggles getting you somewhere. It's not the ideal scenario with something like this, like pathology, and because of the amount of content in the program. Like I said, other than that, great.
Calm voice, interesting content, good questions and nice pictures! Thank you Dr Amy.
Fantastic lecture Dr. Amy presents the material in a clear and logical sequence
It is great how Dr. Raj integrates pathophysiology with clinical correlations, including pharmacology and its mechanisms.
I really enjoyed this course, clinic cases are so helpful when learning, for me it's the best way to learn.
Really great lecturer. Have loved all her lectures so far
Dr. Sussman is an excellent educator. She is well versed, knowledgeable, and methodical. I have no problems following her lectures and wish she did the entire nephrology series. My learning on nephrology has increased exponentially by listening to her lectures. She has a passion for teaching and wanting listeners to understand the process and concepts, instead of just rote memory.
Dr. Raj is a very good teacher. He always finds a fast way to bring relevant review information, as well as clinical references.
It's brief, concise and Dr. Alverson clearly explains the benefits of breastfeeding as well as give some problems to be aware of. Another thing that I liked was that he highlights the role skin to skin bond and the importance to start breast feeding as soon as possible even if the mother doesn't have much milk in the first hours.
It was informetive I liked all if it's videos and I will recommend it for all medical student and as well as surgeons
classic clinical case regarding the disease- important features were well explained
This has been one of the best lecture series on lecturio. She's already become one of my favourite lecturers on this platform. Everything is well defined, structured and well explained. She'll take the time to delve into physiological mechanisms that are relevant to the topic to help with a better understanding. A high quality course, with an amazing lecturer.
good and clear lectures, interesting and beneficial. I'd like to have moor videos about nephrology nearly. with ma regard
The Professor is very good, he teaches high yield and practical medicine
Excellent review of CKD through case clinic and posterior discussion !
The best lecturer I have ever met. What a gifted teacher. Words cannot explain. An asset to Lecturio family. Thank you teacher.

Very important to hear what you should to know from this dr about neonatology
Great lecture, easily explained with a dinamic presentation and an amazing teacher
Was good lecture .........but can you expand more on diagnosis and treatment
Hi the course is really indept and the way doctor brian presents is very nice.
The explanations are very good and concise. Nonetheless, specially in these topics, we need to see more images, there are a lot of glomerular damage patterns even for the same disease (e.g. FSGN) and I do not think there were enough images to learn them. Also, a pointer is needed, Dr. Raj described numerous glomerular lesions and sometimes it was difficult to follow his descriptions as he didn’t have a pointer to help him locate those lesions. Even with these problems I really liked how Dr. Raj really emphasized the diseases patterns and reminded them almost in every video (E.g. SubEPIthelial in PSGN).
I LOVE the lecture but i'm having difficult time understanding it. I had to watch and stop and write to understand it.. maybe more diagrams? or break it down :)
Dr Chuang's series is probably the best as she discusses cases alongside theoretical information. We are able to integrate the patient history and PE to formulate a proper diagnosis and management. I hope more formats are similar to hers.
It was a very good combination of general clinical approach and a little bit of information about the key features of each disease. This is a nice place to start if you want to sort through all the different symptoms your patients could present with.
Great explanation, great visuals pictures . Throughly explained Thank you so much
I would review more of Brian Alversons lectures but I'm a bit time-poor. All his lectures on pediatrics are amazing. He communicates clearly and confidently
she focus on her specalty, what you need to know about pediatric ragiology
Dr. Raj Explains topic with finesse and maintains the balance with his quirky dialogues.
Excellent explanation, AKI is made very easy and at same time being very informative. Thank you very much Ma'am
All your lecturers are excellent. I am very happy. Good revision.
thanks to this video i now have a much clearer understanding of TOF much thank you dr alverson
Dig deep! These lectures make you think! Very deep content and worth the work of understanding them.
well explained quick summary, has all the important information, maybe adding lumbar puncture contradictions would be helpful, thank you for all the amazing lectures Dr. Alverson, they are very helpful in reviewing pediatrics
Dr.Alverson you Do a great job in illustrating pediatric , thank you for your time and make sure that time you put it here worth. Also I thank the mcq after lesson should be harder and case oriented question
not really engaging, hard to hear and understand. Didn't understand some of what he was saying
The popsicle walk back in the room is the best trick I heard so far!

Well instructed. Easy to understand. Awesome video. Short and to he point
The lectures were concise and straight to point. The questions at the end solidified whatever the Surgeon tried passing across.
Straight to the point and high yield info. Dr Alverson does a great job throughout the lectures.

This lecture is quick, has good examples and is straight to the point.
I like all the lectures of Prof. Brian Alverson! Wonderful explanation with a proper language! Very interesting and easy to comprehend.
Great presentation, complete and educational. Questions are very helpful. Thank you
I believe that the topics in this course are not covered very will. Many other surgical topics are not even mentioned. For example there is no single topic about ENT. This course is insufficient.
Valuable information for students and for every day life. i had not considered the behavioral effects rocking a baby to sleep could have.
Dr. Brian Alverson is a wonderful lecturer so far! He explains everything very easily and not wasting the time. I like his lectures!
Straight to the point Amazingly understandable I have been able to grasp some concepts not so easy then

this is the way exams and real patients occur and easy to understand how to apply the knowledge in real life and exams I recommend more of symptoms in other departments too like pediatrics gynecology and surgery
Easy to understand and digest, clear and smooth lecture, keep it up
excillent lecture ,Teacher and presentation ,Just recommend to use pointer when Explain on dighram .
The lecturer takes his time to explain,no rushing. He does not assume the student knows the topic already. I'm being inspired more to specialize in Pediatrics-Neonatology. Good work sir.
Sir explained every vedio in detail and how to manage the patient effectively
I have been on leave for a few years and this is a great review for Boards II! I will take the exam within 6 months to a year from now.
not only in general surgery but also in the internal medicine modules, the speaker only reads the slides without providing any further insight into the topic or even explaining things mentioned on the slides. the speakers obviously are reading off of prompters and are not ready for presenting the topics. Dr Raj, in all internal medicine modules that i've watched so far, does a lot of mistakes and provide several erroneous information that is in addition to his analogies that fall way far from the tree! Sorry but that is my honest opinion.
thank you Dr. Raj very good series , you explained it well and repeated the information a lot to be memorized
Five stars. Smooth and clear explanations, outstanding powerpoint presentation. Very refreshing.
B12 is produced by bacteria. Almost all vegans know we have to consume it with supplements, I heard it a thousand times already. We don't need any animal products to have enough B12, stop spreading misconceptions. How about telling about how eating too much purine (daily meat) may causes gout? It's much more common.
The best teacher , his sense of humor make the lectures more fun
Helped clarify my understanding and simplified concepts without affecting quality of content.
Excellent, brief and covering the pearls.Clinical dx before Imaging.
I like that everything is very well explained and we are given only the information we need to know. Thank you. I didn't know about the herpetiformus dermatitis, for some reason they don't always mention it in our books.
In the beginning I did not understand some of the topics, but after number of repetions I understood the subjects explained. Send questions in nephrology and other subjects. My feedback is positive even though at first it was not so.
The pathology course is so good, excellent explanation , to tell you the truth, I love it !! You have everything about Pathology USMLE under Lecturio to your success.
The topics were explained clearly. Confusing topics/concepts were made less confusing. I actually enjoyed learning this subject.
I like Dr. Alverson's lectures. They are simple to understand and follow. And most importantly the videos are short and easy to pay attention and revise. A few things that I would recommend is that if the lectures could include more clinical approach points and prognostic information, it would be great. Thank you Lecturio, you guys are doing a great job.
very straight forward and helps to remember quite complex diseases very easily
As always I enjoy and learn so much from you Dr. Raj
A good introduction for an everyday problem in pediatric consults. And a good review for MDs.
Very nice lectures with beautiful presentation that made me understand pediatric
Most lectures about nephron segment is kind of boring. But I really like Dr. Raj's passionate and clear explanation, and the way he sophisticated getting knowledge connected with clinical application. It's the best nephron segment lecture ever.
One of the most confusing concept is explained very clearly in a short video!!
Finally I understand the concept or the BUN/Cr ratio and the difference between prerenal and intrinsic
The useful information (the various clinical signs) needed to be better explained or demonstrated.
Very clear and thorough, liked it a lot thank you Dr Cornwall!
I enjoy Dr. Alverson’s teaching style. Easy to comprehend. I have watched it several times through NP school. I am trying to find the “hand method of remembering the cyanotic heart defects, but can’t fine the video again. One of my favorite professors here. Thank you!!

Doctor, you are great! I've been struggling with nephrology for some time, and after trying many sources and attending multiple classes, I can finally say I found something that really makes everything very clear. I'm having some really beautiful days studying now. Thank you!
I repeat the lectures several time to understand .Iam bilingual .Iam amom sometimes I am working and listening to lectures ????.
Ugly way of explaining. Weird pronounciation. Not so clear explanation.
Professional and focused. Dr. Pei is someone that I would like to work with. Just the facts, but focused on results and care. Thank you!
There was a profound description of physiopathology, with emphasis on the clinical elements that helped lead to diagnosis. There was a lack of precision regarding diagnostic cut-off values, treatment and follow-up.
Excellent presentation!.. He make a difficult subject for understand in a clear and didactique explanation of the congenital infections of the infant. Dr. Alverson is very clear for teaching. Congratulations!
Los vídeos se están traducidos en los subtítulos, en el momento inadecuado. Van desfasados

Nice informative useful simple nice illustrations nice lecturer voice tone and accent
Excellent and understandable! Not confusing at all and goes straight to the point!

The lecture is awesome, It really helped me understanding Glomerulonephritis. The lecturer is excellent, slides are excellent, repeating was crucial for this topic. I would recommend this to all medical students, who are struggling to understand Glomerulonephritis. Very Helpful.
Material contains pretty much everything I need to know. I have noticed a few typed errors but not enough to disturb the learning experience.

I love the way Carlo teaches what may seem as complex concepts so simply. easy to understand and with such humor. I am enjoying this lecture series. Can listen to him all day. Thank you Carlo.
Simple and high-yield explanation to a commonly encountered topic in both pediatrics and internal medicine.
i like the lecture bcz its so organised and so useful thank you all

Dr. Raj is great! His presentations are interesting, to the point and you DO learn, even when somewhat tired. I enjoy and look forward to seeing these lectures.
Thanks for the nice way to review clinical topics, I love the easy and clear way of presentation
Very useful, practical I've met a pt of diverticulitis but was mis-diagnosed as appendicitis
Very glad to have such succinct and high-yeild lectures. Thanks, Dr. Alverson! I looked like a star during my group session when I brought up that breastfeeding is advised in poverty-stricken areas, but not in countries where programs like WIC make formula feeding affordable.
I really liked this summary, the information is precise and really easy to get thanks to the way the doctor explains it. Today at school we reviewed this topic, so when I got home I went over CRUP again with this video and it was really, really useful.
Engaging. Good clinical correlation from his own experience in practice. Good explanation of physiology and tie in with pathology.
good lecture, helped to refresh my knowledge.thank you very much
clearly explained. very good, thank you very much for the support
Correct and complete explain of the tecnique of intubation. I think you should include the criteria for intubation by ATLS.
It is very usefull, focused and illustrative, clear voice I recoment it to all pediatrician and pediatric neurologist
In my country ( Cambodia ), we don't have USMLE exam but this course helped me to be more understandable and more practical in my career.
u just made renal pathology easy for me loved the tables and algorithms u made thanks Dr.Carlo Raj
Great explanation, logical flow. Humble style! Thank you very much!
Dr. Alverson covered the basics and it was all thorough. I like his smooth style of presentation.
This is the first time that i clearly understand why and how Coombs Tests are done. Great explanation.
Very easy to understand!!! I can listen to the lecture even while doing other things, and I am able to absorb and retain the information. I also like the friendly approach. Thank you Dr. Brian Alverson!!!

Sir whats with the new guidelines of HIV AIDS? Have you seen it yet?
Thorough and patient presentation of an often problematic topic to a lot of students and practising physicians
Thank you so much for the lectures. This is pretty thorough and easy to understand.
I liked his explanation: first the context and then see the Alzheimer's itself.
Thank you Dr Raj!!!! finally understand this complicated topic. Dr Raj is the best.
Dr Raj is definitely the best always make things appear so simple
Very simple and straightforward. Excellent use of the films to show each case - best example I've seen thus far. I always struggle with the radiology terms used in materials, especially if the accompanying graphic isn't clear.
Nice lecture, but the treatment in boy or girl clinical case...
Well done especially for explaining stridol from wheezing part and overall aproach
Great aproach It would be lovely if you indicated dose for drugs Thanks
Great, succinct, and well taught lecture. I did not find it confusing.
Concise, Succinct, and "digestible" I now know about scarlet & rheumatic fever in children.
Amazing! I really get the material, Dr. Raj! I love how you keep reinforcing the material during each lecture!
too short vert underutilized lacks content..how to see longer videos
love him, he cares and it shows. he does a great job explaining, in his own words/way
Thank you so much, Dr. Raj for making me understand pathology concepts! You truly are an amazing teacher!!!
Does a great job summarizing the information, succinct, easy to understand. The oder in which the information is presented makes it easy to remember.
we need more details for preparing of the USMLE step2 CK.
everything 4 boards are covered and the narrator really gives main road of the subject
Great lectures. I like how Dr. Raj integrates other renal pathologies into his teaching of renal failure, rather than treating renal failure as a completely separate entity.
It is perfectly explained, included important facts med students need to learn! Congratulations
Great explanation of how the direct and indirect test for different things and how they're useful--a nuance that is lost in First Aid.
Very interesting, simple explanation also of more complex topics, clinically relevant. I really enjoyed watching the lectures during my preparation for USMLE Step 2 CK and learned a lot!
Excellent conference, everything is clear. A lot of information summarized in a conference clearly
clearly explained and organized then any teacher lecture I have attended . love the fact that you were able to explain important details in a short amount of time . I have learned more from these videos then hours of lecture
Everything is explained carefully, nicely, slowly, and there's no false information
Great tips to junior doctors, not only technical skills but also surviving guide in the specialty! Compassionate, detailed
Easy to understand :D Very helping me to study better and better
extremely thankful prof. you cleared many concepts of pain managment
Excellent explanation in every perceptive ! I would like to have a bit more pictures in the PPT !
Dr. Raj has made learning nephrology fun. I have struggled with this subject for many years, however after watching these lectures I finally get it! Thank you Dr. Raj!
YOU DO NECROSECTOMY ONLY IN CASES OF INFECTED NECROSIS AFTER 4 WEEKS OF ADMISSION
excellent i learnt many things from this lectures (Dementia is very important problem) thank you
The lectures are simply delivered but detailed. And the review questions are very helpful.
this is really clear, cuts to the chase, pleasantly taught
As always, Dr. Raj’s lectures are clear, concise, and memorable. He has a unique, honed talent for explaining this material. I have been in school for a long time, and had many professors. I am not exaggerating when I say that Dr. Raj is the best medical lecturer ever formed.
The videos and presentations arewell structereda nd easy to understand. I really enjoyed the way Brian Alverson delivers his presentations, but I would like to see a few more topics included on the neonatology list,
It os good but it is not the best I have ever seen
His fluid, conversational presentation style really makes it stick. I do not want my classmates to know about him.
I finally understand nephro because I finally had the physiology and the correlations explained in a clear cut, logical manner. Something that none of my previous professors or any videos I tried had been able to do, the rest had all left me more confused than ever. Thanks to this course I don't even have to memorize much anymore because I finally understand and am able to visualize the pathology.
Way too much superficial on pathology. Slides are just lists: I can find this in books. I would have liked something like diagrams or drawings.
Very good presentation, i understand the concepts an the time for the diagnosis, thanks!
Excellent presentation of the content. He speaks in a clear and engaging manner.
Absolutely love his method of teaching and going about the lecture! Very clear, keeps my concentration and straight to the point, one of my favorite lecturers in Lecturio!!
I don't like the use of acronyms when speaking because it is very distracting. Important content is all in the lecture which is a good thing, but I'd much rather use the pathoma videos for this topic.
i found it awesome and coolio, boi it was amazeballs and eye opening
Me gustaría que hubiera subtítulos en español en cada vídeo. o contrataran traductores
It was great because I achieved to understand in detail a very complex topics. Thanks
Great course. Love the clinical approach, the "medical student friendly" attitude, the extensiveness and completeness of the contents. Feels like half of the work is done even before opening the book and slides.
Good lecture! Maybe it should have been longer. Also, can't peripheral pulses get buldgy?
This lecture is very clear. It helps to understand the physiology of the disease
Dr Alverson is an expert in delivering the information not only for the test but for routine daily practice-
The instructor is knowledgeable and makes the lectures fun. I love him.
Needed refreshing for step 2 ck. Other courses that I tried are exhausting , although the info offered are about the same.
Great lecture series. Very in depth and it ties physiology, pathology, and pharmacology all together
Nice summary of most common rashes in children. Nice recap questions.
Dr. Raj is engaging, entertaining, and hits all the pertinent points of pathology. He presents things to make them understandable without feeling spoon-fed. Great professor and great lecture series.
The lecturer does a great job at keeping the presentation interesting, however he rushed over several points in the topics to the point in which he ignored some of the information present in his slides. Also, it feels out of place when he jumps to different topics that have little to nothing to do with the present lecture. Finally, the lecture feels SO rushed that he missed key aspects of the pathology of every desease he talked about, especially Potter Sequence and its etiologies.
i like his fun attitude to teaching. It works for me!
His teaching style is amazing! Emphasises on important topics well
Well-structured, with emphasis on high-yield pieces of info. Saves time for memorization
Thank you for your inspiring lecture. Love is the most valuable lesson we can learn from our patients and our teachers.
Great sequence of screening, diagnostics, treatment and care. Good use of audiovisual support.
His lecture is very cool mood.so My Brain can catch his speech easily.Hope these lectures will help me in my examination.
This guy is indeed the new professor Goljan. I am speechless. So much material covered.
i liked. very nice course, very good explanation by Dr Raj As usual. i think renal neoplasia is missing from your lecture series. id look forward for clinical lectures in nephrology as there is with for example in pulmonolgy by dr jeremy brown and some others.
To Gain A Better understanding of Pediatric Pulmonology. Very easy to understand.
Excellent means of simplifying a complex topic especially the numerous symptoms
Liked but another lecture not opened yet so not liked
clear teaching and repetition, thanks. Learnt a lot. Clinically useful. thanks
Great many teaching points given in a well organized and easy pattern. The lecturer is lively with expressions and gestures though initially she appears to be referring down over her notes, but subsequently overcame that hurdle. Her tone and expressions show that she loves teaching. The images and their explanation is superb as well.
His way of teaching is excellent. His calm voice and to the point lecutures are amazing to learn from.
I chose this because it is brief but not that much explained deeply.
Good review, focused on the points we don't have to miss on exam.
Confusing, difficult to understand (too many synonymous names)- its difficult to comprehend what its meant with orthodromic etc.
Lectures on this topic was clear and complete! I like how he highlights the important notes for exams
He teaches just not to pass our boards, but to become greater physicians! Dr. Goljan should be proud, this man is God sent!
Everything is so well explained, he takes the time to put in his 2 cents from his own experience and highlights the high yield points for the exams. Not to mention any time I've asked a question, I've got an answer the very next day
great lecture with sufficient information to answer all my questions
Very nicely explained, but I would prefer with even more pictures, because it's a dermatology class.
Helped me a lot understanding this subject! Carlo Raj's videos har really good.
very good and concise , made it very easy and simple to understand
Comprehensive Detailed with anatomy Clinical examples Minimum words Great explanations
Best lecture i have ever seen..concise with high yield topics.
Such a good learning experience, I dont know how I can get Dr. Brian Alversons contacts to personally thank him...because this has made me understand stuff within a 5 min video that lecturers in my university fail to teach me in a 2hr lecture.
Good very good,I like the lectures.Good very good,I like the lectures. Good very good,I like the lectures.
It covered high yield material , that was sufficiently explained in a timely fashion
It's not common that I was touched by an USMLE lecture, but I want to thank Dr.Alverson to remind me that what we are dealing is not just the disease but the human.
These videos get in the point, summarize what are the important things to know in each topic for the test, and help me not to be saturated with all the information in the book.
Very well explained. Nice questions too. Yet I prefer when all the disease is on the same video.
Systematic and easily understood. I like case report in the beginning of lesson. It makes leassons more understandable and easier to memorize. Dr. Brian Alverson is a really good teacher. Thank you for your work!
Need a few questions to make sure we learned what is important.
Very clear and concise explanation. But, could have more questions.
talking in a soft tone attract to concentrate, precise, well aware of the information , many thx dr
This is a very well planned out lecture on some well developed material. The doctor explained it well and even broke some of it down into a pneumonic. Very clever and well done!
That’s really cool.... Which is shows dr.brian experience.......he explains everything very detailed.....
I like the way he presents everything it seems a lot easy to follow, to relate and understand it.Learning has never been so enjoyable.
Enjoy those lectures, slides, etc I wish there are a lot of more question like the neurology course. Thanks, Dr. Alverson and Lecturio.
Everything is so easy to understand and really enjoy those lectures about seizures.
As I already commented it, Dr. Alverson, it's a great physician it's easy to understand every subject cover by him.The way he explains things that you are gonna see in practice and the exam are amazing.Highly recommend it Thank Dr. Alverson y lecturio.
This is so cool lecture ! So simple and clear view
Excellent teaching method! So easy to learn and retain the topics!
very detailed, clear, and professional. Related with clinic. I like his lectures very much.
Bullet point to what you are supposed to know for doing very great in your examen as well the clinical practice. Keep going!!! I wish to see more course teaching by Dr. Alverson.
Thank you, Dr. Alverson, and Lecturio For such high-quality video and high yield material!!!!There is some missing subject that I would like to see like measle, or dengue fever but it's excellent this content cover by Dr. Alverson.
This was a good course because the lecturer gave examples and explanations.
Very good lecture! It flows nicely, and really helps you understand the process. It makes learning easy and interesting
Very easy to understand, high yield points and such a great teacher. Congrats ! =D
The material is valuable because it's clear and concise, but dr. Raj has an annoying and hard to understand accent and weird manner of teaching.
I really like Dr. Raj lectures but, why these videos don't have subtitles?
Very well explained physiology and very important things in newborn examination.
Very informative and organized , keep the good work Thank you
Clarity and accuracy of his making all adds in the topic a simple easily understading one is a best example hidden in his lecture. A clear understanding of a complicated study could be possible even for avarage inteligent reader. 2nd thing is illustrations in every aspect made it highly comprehencive and brief
Superb quality, informative, rationale easy to comprehend. Thank you very much
This is about the best lectures I have had all my life. I like it very much because the lectures are very explicit, The approach is fantastic. And the tutors are very experienced. They have a full grab of the subjects they teach. The team is like a conglomerate of experts from all fields of medical science. It has really helped in my studies in medical school. With Lecturio, there's no dull moment. It's actually a huge privilege for those of us studying Medicine and Surgery in Africa. I recommend Lecturio for everyone who want to excel in medical practice all over the world! Kudos to all the erudite tutors in the house! Hope to see more of you in Lecturio videos. You're all wonderful! From: APATA OLABANJI SYLVESTER COLLEGE OF MEDICINE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, LAGOS, NIGERIA. WEST AFRICA. (e-mail: olabanjiapata@yahoo.com)
Need to be more informative .. Need to add more high yield facts & information
Dr. Brian makes it so easy to understand with a lot of mnemotechnic and tells you what you gonna see in the real life as well for the exam. Thanks, Dr. Brian and Lecturio
still superficial , not deep in surgery subject , need more details
The pediatric course of this lecturer(brian alverson) is the best course of Lecturio in my opinion. It is really thorough and of high quality. I would like to see the other courses and the future courses to be made just like this:) Thank you very much dr Alverson, really a great job!!
It was so well presented. The difficult made so simple and clear. Its like a wow factor I must say. Excellent skill.
It is an impartant topic and is explained well.. Grate work shown in it in all aspects
An excellent lecture. Everything is clear to understand. And to learn Thank you
Every thing is good . Signs and symptoms exactly present in100 persent cases. Very sseful
I would definitely recommend the entire lecture series on Paedeatrics. The lecturer is very clear in making high yield points about each topic and everything is well explained. There is an effortless flow in his delivery, which ties in all the points made, in a nice orderly fashion. This makes it easy to wrap your head around the concepts being discussed.
One of the best lecture series on lecturio. However missing some topics such as measles
Awesome presentation. It is very explicit and concise. Even the books cannot explain it so well.
very well explained but what about dukes astler classification for tumor penetration and linfatic afectation.
I would like to see a little more depth and interventions added to the complications The presentations are very clear Thanks
Like the way, he explains everything very good.Definitely recommend it
Lecturio is a solid and highly efficient learning Platform. Dr. Raj is a seasoned communicator, and has just the right balance of serious professional demeanor, clarity of speech and concepts, and good humor you want in a Teacher. This lecture, like the others I’ve watched so far, is excellent stuff!
its very helpful and informative many students can prepare for exam throught it
I understand, but I think, the lesson needs drawings and diagrams, but is very well, thanks
nice summary of the condition of pediatric polycystic kidney disease
Congratulations once more, Dr. Raj. Learning is much funnier when lecturers have a good sense of humour. Explaining the management of Nephrogenic Diabetes Insipidus is not an easy task, but putting humour the middle of that is even harder. You succeeded very well in both tasks. I liked it specially when you said "go to the clinic, kickbutt and be hoisted by your collagues" after discussing the wise intersection of topics between pathology (bipolar disease, and its chronic lithium treatment) and pharmacology (amiloride). Ingenious!
It would be nice if the material was presented in a less intense manner. It feels more like he is prepping football players for a big game. It is very distracting. Perhaps, if the lecture didn't feel so choppy it would be more enjoyable.
Dr Raj is super cool!!!! I finally understood the concepts of transport and the respective pathologies!
Good overview, hits on most important images. More detail about physiology behind why images present as such would have been good.
Thank you Dr Pei!!! i like the organization of the slides and everything is explained very well.
Thank you very much Dr Brian!!!! for getting an (A) in pediatric.Really appreciated.
this lecture was great, the Doctor has an amazing teaching skill!
Very easy to understand and a good review for SLE labs. Anybody could be able to understand
Please replace Dr. Raj. I feel like I am being preached to and not reached! I believe he knows the subject matter but his delivery is not nice.
This course well explained, but it was less interactive when compared to the others given by herself. That is why I cannot assign a 5 star.
she reads everything from the slides ....her courses are really boring
It needs more clinical correlation with diseases in the IV fluids For example, when to use normal saline or when to use dextrose this will make our understanding better
Really enjoy Dr. Alverson's approach to teaching. I like how he goes into important details and remains enthusiastic and clear with his explanations.
Explained easily and good diagrams. Good at pointing out key concepts.
Dr Alverson is absolutely brilliant. His methods of explaining, and the slide content are both very good!
These peds lecture series are simply the best!! I would give 10 starts if I could
Dr Alverson he teaches very well.Easy to understand and really helpful for examen, the ward and the real life practicing medecine.I wish i have professor like that.
Every course on lecturio is really good but pediatric with all my respect it's the best.Difficult concepts are easy to remember and understand.Really like it!!!!!!!!
great great lecture!! thank you so much Dr. Raj :) one of the best lecture i have ever watched.. you made learning so much fun :)
i really enjoyed watching all the videos. Very educational and well explained.
Excellent lecture. Loved that it was succinct and to the point.
Hi I liked it because it's concise and clinically related.I think more pictures of patients gross and microscopic demonstrations will be of great benefit. Also, more emphasis to differentiate them from glomerual diseases is encaraged
Clear explanation given by sir. He explains everything very clearly. Love his lectures ????
Concise, easy to understand, well prepared slides. Good pace on the lectures and easy to follow
Thank you Dr. Alversion. I really appreciate your lectures. They were very precise.
Many thanks Dr. Pei. I appreciate your lectures. They were precise.
I enjoyed this lecture because the physiology was linked into clinical practice giving it context. Good use of questions as well.
I really appreciate the course. It's short and precise. I highly recommend it to medical students
Very concise and to the point. Clarified many aspects that were confusing for me. Also the topic reviews are incredibly useful.
Every lecture on lecturio are excellent but pediatric lecture is something more.Easy to understand with lot of high yield concept for the Usmle step2
What an amazing teacher, and just about right amount of information.
I would definitely recommend this course. Very concise yet informative - Dr. Raj provides you with all the pertinent information.
The simple way to explain a boring topic, great job Dr, Brian
Really helpful, very clear both for didactic & clinical parts. Thanks!
tnx sir for this nice video..help me lotttttt.tnx again.
Well organised material, cover most salient points within a short time.
The speaker reminds me of the doctor on the show "scrubs" and makes this more entertaining for me. LOL. but seriously its informative and interesting.
Very concise, highlighted important concepts, easy to understand and remember. Good visual presentation, and good control of the length of each topic, not too lengthy. I also like that each topic finishes with some questions to help grasping take home messages
Great lecturer with great explanations with emphasis on the important notes.
Great presentation, great explanations. At the end, finally, everything fits into their place! wonderful.
Well explained overview of the process behind the newborn exam, as well as what common abnormalities you may find. Especially found the neuro section helpful.
Well explained overview of the process behind the newborn exam, as well as what common abnormalities you may find.
Thank you for your very helpful lecture on this topic, which is a very upsetting one. I appreciate your expertise and thank you for the work you do.
Great practical advice on a difficult topic. Helped me to understand how forensic interviews are conducted. Thank you.
very simple lectures, not clarifying the important details.. although well organised
These lectures help me recall the lessons and give me very useful clinical pearls
Good teacher But as I said he need to extend his lectures and give the topics an appropriate time Not only 5 minutes
Good teacher But I hope he will give the topic more time ( give him time please) Some topics need more than 5 minutes Please
Dr Raj is outstanding, and these lectures are excellent. These are perfect for preparing for medical exams. Detailed, in depth, and concise, I am hugely impressed.
veryyyyyyy informative thanks lots!! it was very intersting i learnt so much
Thanks so much for this great info about asthma Thanks Waleed
it is really very helpful app for pharmacy students also
The approach to pediatric neurology here was quite easy to understand and the topic reviews helped a lot.
The assessments for the drug and alcohol abuse section was well delivered and easy to understand.
It is very usefull and interesting course for pediatricians and students.
With this course in addition to UWorld questions, I was able to progressively increase my NBME Clinical Science Mastery Practice shelfs from a 74 to a 96% on the last shelf I took. Love the fact that videos are short, to the point and explained in a simple, yet memorable way. I was able to listen to these lectures in the car on my way to and from my Peds clerkship.
I like use Dr. Raj lecture series as my adjunct professor to my course work. I am visual learner and I supplement my readings with as many free lectures available.
much more details on the diagnosis could have been provided....on the whole I really pleased to find a website like this....please continue to develop the site...its really good
I found this really helpful and easy to follow. Gave me a better understanding of a lot of things that weren't clear before now. I wish Rickets was included in the hypocalcemia topic. But overall, very satisfied. Thank you
Going through this lecture in its entirety helped me improve in this subject. I stuck with the program, and it payed off.
It would have been good to talk about LCIS as well as DCIS particular as the management differs. Also no discussion of the choice between FNAs and CNB in regards to sensitivity and specificity.
I think it would be worthwhile to also focus on upper gi bleeding as well. Also It would extremely handy to learn about working up a patients with suspected GI, ie what investigations you would do first. Toronotes Notes has a wonderful flow chart in the Gastrointestinal chapter
I would have liked to also learn a bit about Hartmans procedure in emergent cases. Discussion of recurrence rates for patients undergoing conservative management
Good talk I would have liked the discussion to also include post operative complications as well as recurrence rates following hernia repair.
The introduction on appendicitis lecture was sharp and to the point. However it can be improved by a discussion of the pathophys ie children or young adult: hyperplasia of lymphoid follicles, initiated by infection, adult: fibrosis/stricture, fecolith, obstructing neoplasm and other causes: parasites, foreign body.
I think the Proffesor make everything so easy and clear. Thank you
The talk was interesting but no clear explanation of how PKD gene causes cysts moreover no discussion over management of these patients
Perfect, quick overview, ideal for the short presentation I am preparing on this disease!
Very informative, I am currently in nursing school and I don't even need to read my text book except for the section of nursing care. Carlo Raj is amazing at teaching my favorite instructor here in lecturio! thanks!
not up to date. please read my note about the updates in approach
There are fundamental errors in the video. please do something about it.
I found this course to be comprehensive, well-presented and useful. It's great for reviewing topics thoroughly, and made further readings easy to follow as made a nice base to hang all the little details onto. Thank you!
The content is very didactic and narrated well. I like the well formed curriculum. I do not like the technichal format being very user unfriendly, better to join parts of a subject rather dividing to endless subcategories. Will warmly recomend to my fellows in trainng
Great job, clear and nice presentation. I found it very helpful for me to understand pediatric.
Comprehensive lecture, well laid out and explained. Explaining of the moro reflex was very useful particularly what is considered abnormal. Really love this paeds lecture series by Brian Alverson
The Lecture is awesome!! It includes many crucial information needed to know in short period of time , and also the lecturer has a soft voice and the skill making the topic easily understood
It's a very nice lecture Very clear.. Informative I recommend it strongly
I loved that You explained every part of the clinical and physical examinations and gave examples of why is important and what can you diagnose with that, for me it's always easier to learn if I can connect things.
Such a helpful presentation. The most important points of Asthma diagnosis and management in minutes. sure I recommended to my colleges. Thank you, doctor.
thank you for the lecture! I really like how you repeat multiple times the important key facts. Also the presentation with comparisons and simple key facts instead of too much material is really nice. The best thing, you actually made me think through the whole lecture compared to just passively listen.
Precise use of terms and definitions Practical suggestions with no information overload References of landmark publication or concise textbooks on the domain discussed will strenghten the reader's interest.
Dr. Raj transforms the Pathology course into medicine by integrating everything from Physio to Biochem. Literally, you feel like if you are in an actual clinical setting. Renal pathophysiology is delivered in a concise, serious but at the same time humorous way. At the end of the lecture I see Nephrology from a whole different perspective.
This video series has been excellent in preparing for my block exams. Not only does Dr. Raj go through the pathology, but he covers important concepts in physiology and integrates all this information in a very clear format.
Moves quickly and covers important points from several different angles.
I like how Dr. Raj actually link different diseases and explain the differential diagnoses. Thank you
I just like the way it is being delivered: smooth, flowing, clinically relevant and best of all with a great touch of humour! I just love it!
Actually it was hard job to do these lectures , good construction of slides and ideas orders ,with excellent knowledge of how confusing is born ....finally lecturer has presents lectures that in a way that sometimes need sense of humor , which is good ice breaker . i recommend more lectures regarding fluids management which was very informative and touch the clinical application .
Not only knowledgeable in the subject material but an eloquent speaker
these are great honestly can't start to describe how useful and easy to understand thank you!
Dr. Raj not only does Pathology, he ties the concepts of Pathology into Biochemistry and Physiology. After all, medicine is not about one system. In addition, Dr. Raj's knowledge and passion for the subject area keeps you attentive. I have learned so much, thank you!
