I really enjoy watching these videos. The way dr. Pickering chops the information into little pieces to make it easier to comprehend. I also think he puts more emphasis on the structures that are clinically relevant. It's great how he uses the illustrations to guide us through the structures, however the quality of the illustrations are very poor and too small.

Make videos longer ( about 10-20 minutes) and add a new feature just inverse of bookmatcher
von Majid N. am 23. Oktober 2022 für Abdomen [Archive]
I think the videos are too short. Most of them are about 1 or 2 minutes. I think it make it hard to focus while studying, it would be much better if videos where usually about 10_20 minutes.
Also I feel there is a lack of a feature just inverse of bookmatcher. I mean it would be great if after watching a series of videos for example videos of rectus sheath I could find out which pages of Grey's anatomy or Netter atlas of anatomy I can study to deepen my knowledge.
I love the videos

It has been but pure, clear and Concise..the way Dr Canby goes about to illustrate the slides especially for the fact that this aspect of the human anatomy is very complex to understand.. I have already recommended a lot of my friends to lecturio and they were all glad I did.
Needed to review external sources
von Alaena A. am 28. Oktober 2021 für Labor Stage 1: Fetal Heart Rate Tracing
I personally do not think that there was not enough of necessary depth taken for this topic that I had to rely on what I learned in medical school or look up information on external sites, which is FINE, but I thought the whole point of these videos were for review and the topics that needed review were not covered.
I think the basic concept that of comparing the fetal heart tracing to the maternal tracing is missed. The explanation of the categories was so confusing. It should have just been Category I is this, Category III is this, and Category II is anything not above - this is so plain and simple. Instead, the lecture slide made it look like there were certain criteria that needed to be met for Category II.
I do not think this was the best lecture by Dr. Gillispie and I recommend looking for outside sources to review this topic.
It is very well summarized and complete, grateful to have found it.

organization of the MRI section is confusing. It would have been better to show the definitions and the pictures at the same time...instead of using terms not previously introduced...and then switching to the definitions, but now the viewer can't see the image which demonstrates the terms. Instead, I had to look up the terms on my own and then I could better understand the lecture. I also had to spend time going back and forth with the slides and transcript/video to better understand. In short, the organization of this section could have been done better.

von Alaena A. am 02. Oktober 2021 für Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Slide 9 is problematic, specifically for the explanation of T2. "Perpendicular" is not a very good term. There is no aforementioned information that would help explain what T2 is that is given in this lecture. What should have been said if this was to be avoided would be, "Beyond the scope of this lecture".

Hello Dear Doctor Canby.
Brilliant explanation . And the demonstration is outstanding thanks for your time and effort !!!
It is very important topic as well as we need to know a lot about brain in order to treat correctly and precisely rest of the body .
I think 12 CN are given really well as well as cerebral cortex .
I Interested in more about spinal fluid and how to improve content of the spinal fluid as we know it does give all the necessary nutrients to the brain .
Some people have sudden seizures I wandered if possible to predict by taking and analysing their spinal fluid content!
To avoid patient from seizure !
As every seizure gives really hard time to a patient and consequences are negatively affect to the brain cells of the individual .
So better prophylaxis than cure. And I believe there is more effective ways to treat brain disease by knowing the pathogenesis of brain disorders .
Many thanks for the great course about cerebral cortex.
Kind regards,
Dr. Gulbanu Akimgaliyevna.

Excellent Overview of PNS
von Daryl T. am 18. September 2021 für Parasympathetic Nervous System (PSNS)
I'm a first year medical student and the lectures that we have had on the autonomics have not been clear or understandable at all. The set of lecture materials and the lectures that Lecture has provided has GREATLY increased my understanding and made my exam prep much easier.
Learning made EASY!
von Cathrine M. am 04. September 2021 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
I am really loving your lecture videos so much and the fact that they just simplify everything that seemed so hard to grab on just blows my mind. I really wish I was able to get the premium offer so I can watch every video I wish to watch because they are just what I know I need so much to get good grades in Medicine but the odds are against me.
Brain Structures
von Deborah H. am 04. September 2021 für Brain Stem
It is the best class on brain structures I've had to date. However, what this and all the other reviews lack is better terms to more deliberately, precisely and succinctly REMIND the students of where each structure is and it's function EACH TIME it is discussed. The brain has ALOT of structures and respective functions that need to be understood and memorized. So that type of repetition would just be really helpful.

OCULAR MUSCLES
von Jerome III P. am 19. August 2021 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
Since there was a confusion regarding the actions of ocular muscles versus the cardinal gazes of movement when examining the intactness of ocular muscles, the video regarding this topic should be updated. And examples of exam questions pertaining between the difference of the two should be given. But overall, it was a good review!

von Soren A. am 17. April 2021 für Coronary Circulation – Heart (Cor)
Clear presentation AND good selection of figures to show both a. and v. circulation. It is an added plus that all figures have the names in latin and not English. In other of the anatomy videos (i.e. upper limb, brain) the names in English, whereas keeping it in latin is more international than English and makes us all think that we are treating a scientific topic with a long history. Keeping it in latin makes i more clear and less ambiguous than English. Keep names of anatomical structures in latin in you Lecturio lectures.

von Stephen A. am 12. Juni 2020 für The Eye: General Structure
Here is a quote from which describes Lecturio:
"In order to take on this challenge, Lecturio created a high-quality digital medical education resource, which is affordable, adaptive, and personalized. We designed our platform with the needs of learners and faculty in mind, combined with the latest state-of-the-art learning technology and comprehensive monitoring and assessment features."
The lecturer keeps saying that he is going to have the "anatomists" explain the structure in detail...so why are we wasting our money looking at this. I paid for a subscription to this site for "state-of-the-art learning technology." If a customer clicks on the video to see a presentation on the general structure of the eye, they shouldn't have to waste their time watching a PowerPoint with no pictures of the eye. It is an insult for customers to have this guy put up this type of presentation. My textbooks have better supplemental material .
Someone please edit this guy's presentation - or just pay a high schooler to bring "state-of-the-art" technology to your site!
von Stephen A. am 12. Juni 2020 für Iris
This is what you read on Lecturio's site:
"In order to take on this challenge, Lecturio created a high-quality digital medical education resource, which is affordable, adaptive, and personalized. We designed our platform with the needs of learners and faculty in mind, combined with the latest state-of-the-art learning technology and comprehensive monitoring and assessment features."
STATE OF THE ART??? These are PowerPoint slides!!! The guy is talking about different structures and you have to pause the video to find what he is trying to reference! Get a pointer. Use an arrow. Show the viewer the exact location you want to emphasize. If I turned this type of presentation in for a grade, I would get it returned. Kahn Academy, Ken Hub...this is as low tech as you can get. I expected so much more. You are supposed to save us time. I hate writing this but other people have to know that this lecturer's delivery - I might as well get a text book out and read it to myself.

Very clear, professor explains everything very well. I would have liked the quiz questions to be a little less detailed. It's not very useful for me to remember the exact type of technetium-99 used for each different type of test. However, this might not be as much the fault of this course as well as a feature lacking in lecturio (to remove certain quiz questions if they are not relevant for you).

von Branden O. am 01. April 2020 für Organ of Corti
This series of lectures about the ear really need to be addressed, they make no sense, if you don't already have a complex knowledge of the ear. Once you have that this I guess is a good way to review, but then why am I paying for this for 2 years? If this is how it is supposed to be lecturio should be advertised as step prep company only, not as a supplement to lectures. Disappointed in the ear and hearing series of lectures.
This lecture is hard to follow.

von Uchenna O. am 30. März 2020 für Cochlea
Covers a lot of content accurately but concisely. Good speed and great use of diagrams. Admittedly, if I didn't know much about inner ear anatomy to start with, it would not have been detailed enough as a lot of concepts were not explained such as the semicircular canals, the utricle and saccule and the scala vestibuli and tympani.
Needs to be redone.
von Trient S. am 30. März 2020 für Direct and Indirect Basal Ganglia Pathway
Just not a good way to teach this topic! Sure the math thing works but tells you nothing except it works. Useless trick in my opinion.

Space to improve
von Haichuan H. am 17. März 2020 für Lesions and Diseases of the Spinal Cord: Brown-Séquard Syndrome and Tabes Dorsalis
I feel the anatomy lectures are rather "static" like simply reading the narrative or bulletin points to the audience. Instead, I think the anatomy lectures, especially as we are not learning by a cadaver to gain the tactile feedbacks, might be better designed in a more inviting/ interactive way. Bringing in more pathological relevance, e.g. showing schema/ video/ autopsy would be largely helpful. Or to the minimum, highlighting the knowledge of "high yield" and compare them on an anatomic picture/schema may also improve the learning experience of these topics. I like many Lecturio lectures nonetheless, but I think anatomy, and especially the neural anatomy lectures has a lot of space to improve in such way. Thanks.
Very good!
von Filipa D. am 17. März 2020 für Abdominal Radiology
Very good! Just one thing that i dislike, teacher speaks very fast, because she is reading almost of time, she just speaks slower when she is explaining something for example in a x-ray. So for that reason i could not understand everything at first time when i was watching.

Alright course but poorly delivered
von Mathew C. am 12. April 2019 für 12 Cranial Nerves and Their Functions
Content of the lectures were useful especially when breaking down the components of each nerve.
However, much of the lectures consisted of reading from slides which is entirely pointless as i can do that myself. It would also have been handy to include clinical testing techniques for each nerve as these will be important tests for us as doctors
Better than some but still not perfect.
von Mathew C. am 11. April 2019 für Ventricular System: Ventricles and Communication
Breakdown and delivery of the information was much better than many other lectures in this part of the curriculum. Overall a lecture capable of delivering useful information in a concise way.

Hit all the high yield heart basics! Great explanations and use of diagrams/illustrations.
Needs more information about the photoreceptors, but quite good otherwise
von Matthieu M. am 07. Februar 2019 für Eyeball and Retina
I think you could have gone in a little more in depth into the structure of photoreceptors. There were also a few other cells, such as the horizontal cells which backpack onto parts of the visual pathway-this knowledge is essential to understanding concepts of contrast.
overall i do think it was a good lecture, but a little more depth into the vitreous humour and the aquous humour would have also helped

As for the lectures that i ve watched on lecturio, this is below standard, however, with those that i have watched so far pharmacology and pathology are 100% just listening to the their lectures is enough, but here anatomy is 20%. severely disappointed
von Joseph S. am 14. Dezember 2018 für Sub-Acute Headache, Chronic Headache and Migraine
seriously these series of lectures are the absolute worst. no explanation at all, no physiopathology, no images...just a pathologist who seems to be severely under qualified to teach a comprehensive clinical neurology lecture , reading a bunch of bullet points off the most lazily prepared power point presentation. seriously strating to wonder what the point of lecturio is. I do the q bank right after the lectures and literally nothing that is asked is mentioned in these lectures.
Nice

Dr. Pickering is one of my favorite instructors on Lecturio! He's always clear and concise; while not leaving anything overlooked. My university professor nervously breezed through this material due to the nature of these topics, which left most of us confused and irritated. More jokes then learning. I was really only able to understand via this lecture series. I'm truly grateful Lecturio exists and I feel so much more confident heading into my examination.

Not Engaging and Inconsistent Complexity
von Kit T. am 29. Juli 2018 für Cerebral Cortex
These lectures were not very engaging - rather monotonous way of talking and a mixture of qualities of diagrams. In the lectures about the effects of lesions, the anatomy was shown in a very simple language, but then complex pathology terms were left unexplained (a few were explained, but the majority were not).
Both short and detailed -- a good mix
von Alex S. am 29. Juli 2018 für Brachial Plexus – Axilla and Brachial Plexus

Slow and Dry
von Kit T. am 25. Mai 2018 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby

I have watched the lecture series on the Abdominal wall and Thoracic viscera conducted by professor Craig, and he was more interactive and seemed to have greater Knowledge in those parts. This lecture is way too general and lacks many important info.
Useful!
von Kathryn S. am 16. Mai 2018 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
I found this lecture to be clear, concise and suitable as a complement to lectures, textbook and cadaver work. Could you make the diagrams and their labels a bit larger, as they are difficult to see on smartphone, and there is no zoom facility.
Great Quick Review

Excellent
von Ahmed A. am 05. April 2018 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
Definitely benefitted from the lectures.
Just a small note, even when putting the video on HD and full screen, the writing is too small and blurry to see the labelled parts of various anatomical structures. Hope the resolution can be increased or labels increased in size.
Awesome!
von Sona C. am 04. April 2018 für Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS): Output and Thoracolumbar Outflow
These lectures are great! It's good to know also that a lot of topics that are discussed in one lecture are later elaborated on in another lecture too. Usually if I feel like some topic was not covered in depth, it just means that I was discussed further in another video. This is incredibly helpful for Step 1 prep!

Lesions of Visual pathways
von Ato B. am 02. April 2018 für Lesions of the Visual Pathway
After reviewing Neuroanatomy in FA and Kaplan, it is fair to say this lecture has delved deeply in some accurate key points of visual pathways.I really admire the fact that you guys have put on some quizzes in the end but I was surprised to see a red flag that goes unnoticed. In one of the question about the right lower optic radiations from the 5 listed, I saw right after radiation Meyer's loop in parenthesis which is clearly a mistake when it comes to asking questions. In the exam, they won't give any clues to test takers because they will have figure out themselves whether or not it is either Meyer's or Non-Meyers' loop.

Abdominal wall review!
von Juan Jose A. am 16. März 2018 für Abdominal Wall with Dr. Canby
Very easy to follow, i like the length of the videos, I think they are more productive, very good foundation and supplement to my school's curriculum. For the most, Lecturio's professors usually outperform my school's professors at presenting material.
Confusing and superficial
von Neuer N. am 16. März 2018 für Limbic System
Unfortunately I found the course confusing and superficial. In my opinion, it would be important that all the structures of the system be shown, while explaining their functions, for example.
Sorry for any mistake, but I'm not used to writing in english.

Boring lecture
von Mohamad A. am 13. März 2018 für Thyroid Gland – Neck
its boring lecture
and the lecturer was so slow in talking
i think there is deficiency in information
Good as an introduction, bad as in it lacks details and explanations.
von Berk B. am 12. März 2018 für Brain and Nervous System—Anatomy
If you have trouble understanding certain concepts, or need introducing, this course can serve you well. However keep in mind that the course can only serve as an introduction, as it contains very little details. Make sure you adequately read ans study from a textbook on top of this.
Please ask better questions
von Usama S. am 11. März 2018 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
They are really great videos. I wish questions would be more like USMLE or NBME questions.
Needs more details
von Alexander R. am 10. März 2018 für Cranial Nerve VII: Facial Nerve
Way too general, you need to go into more details and explain more
Average and needs improvment
von MD M. am 08. März 2018 für Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)
average explanation. This course does not go into deep details. Anyone who lacks fundamental knowledge of the ANS will not be able to get everything the prof said. The questions are good but some lack explanations, others which have explanations, are not rich enough.
The diagrams could be better. And the feedback feature of questions is removed. I think the answer to one of the questions which is shown as right is wrong and I could not give feedback.
i am so much upset most of the pre-clinical course are not good enough.
von Iftakhar A. am 07. März 2018 für Brain and Nervous System—Anatomy

disappointed!!
von Hazazi M. am 27. Februar 2018 für Brain and Nervous System—Anatomy

von Tommie C. am 03. Februar 2018 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
I thought this lecture series was very simple and informative, easy to understand but thorough. I appreciate the pneumonic provided, as well as the transcript notes available So we could go back and look and write things down as needed- I Was happy that the teacher spoke clearly and slowly, and that each segment was not very long so that you were able to take time to contemplate information before moving on.

The descriptions where clear and comprehensive even to a non native english speaker like my self.
Thanks!
von Juan Giuseppe C. am 28. Januar 2018 für Introduction to Imaging
I like it because it has a comprehensive approach regarding different images used in diagnosis. Fundamental knowledge is strengthened by illustrative lectures and abnormal images to compare and then you could fix your whole understanding through clinical cases. I believe it is a course based on problem-solving and that is cool when learning.
Regards from Peru.

So frustrating to listen to this lecture!
von Mumingjiang M. am 04. Dezember 2017 für Diencephalon
The instructor is poorly prepared. Anyone can read off of a slide. Didn't even make an effort to find better pictures of structures that are covered. And by the way: hypothesis and hypophysis are completely different things.

Difficult to follow many of Dr. Meyer's course because of poor marking of the area under discussion. Also, questions jump into the middle of lecture, very disruptive.

I find verything related to the brain and nerves to be very difficult to understand, but Dr. Canby makes it easy to get and this makes the whole learning process far more enjoyable.
I don't know if it's just me but when I really like the lessons and the teacher, its much easier for me to pay attention and keep on listening.
excellent clarity in the lecture and understandable
von Neuer N. am 14. November 2017 für Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Excellent lectures. If you could add on some lectures on radiography for head and neck region and CBCT for head especially maxilla and mandible, that would have been great.
Poor emphasis
von Mark A. am 09. November 2017 für Cerebral Cortex
Again this lecturer has all the important materials to entice students but lacks he ability to make and impact on our brains on important clinical correlations. Overall boring seems to be reading and not prepared and can't hold my attention with same low level emphasis on everything. Is there another lecturer cos I have to watch video a few times to grab what's important especially when I get the answers wrong.

Your app takes the fear of exams away
von Dáithí Ó. am 05. November 2017 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
Fantastic! It’s like you’ve melted the fear away for me! I can watch over and over and over until I can nearly repeat it word for word. Sometimes when you study you can know something but in a multiple choice question (MCQ) situation later you can be stumped - while I found the sentences are in my head and it’s like being able to check the lecture! Repetition is the best way to learn! You couldn’t ask a class lecturer to keep going over stuff but with your amazing classes you can!! Thanks !!! Telling all my classmates about your article.

Diencephalon review
von Okechukwu V. am 27. Oktober 2017 für Diencephalon
The questions were helpful, but the lecture was more of a recital.
There were no extra explanations, no little tips, no compare and contrasts, to aid and understanding and recall.
It was during the second or third time I was watching the hypothalamus that I realised that both medial nucei had to do with appetite regulation and satiety, and lesions could lead to hyperphagia; as opposed to the lateral, whose lesion had the opposite effect, ie starvation.
Same thing with posterior and anterior, which have opposing effects on thermoregulation. I had to really focus and repeat the lecture to spot that out. he could have highlighted such points during the lecture.

von Stephen H. am 26. September 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
Dr. Canby provides clear and concise discussion with regard to head and neck anatomy. This has proven to be a great secondary resource for my studies. As an M.D. student, the amount of information is vast, and these lectures provide a great supplement to my university materials.
The most effective way I have found to use this material is by viewing the videos that correlate to my current coursework, completing the recall questions, and then reading through the associated articles that are provided throughout the course.
Short and Sweet
von William J. am 25. September 2017 für Cranial Nerve IV: Trochlear Nerve

Great resource
von Hudanur Z. am 22. September 2017 für 12 Cranial Nerves and Their Functions
Dear Prof Canby,
Thank you for taking the time to create this resource.
I did enjoy it and I found it easy to follow.
During the first few lectures, I was hoping for more information on some of the muscles which were involved, and towards the end of the course, you included pictures of the muscles with their attachments which were very helpful.
Thank you for including the clinical considerations too.
I needed to search some information myself, such as the meaning of general somatic / visceral afferents / efferents, online. I had not studied this before. You began clarifying the role of these towards the end of the course, e.g. general somatic efferent has motor control. This was helpful in consolidating the meaning these terms. A bit more information in the beginning may have been helpful.
I look forward to viewing more of your lectures.
Best wishes,
Hudanur
Woops! The suprascapular notch!
von Ryan L. am 18. September 2017 für Scapula – Bones and Surface Anatomy of Upper Limb
I certainly liked the video format, where we can adjust the focus from the speaker to the slide, and use the cursor to aid in pinpointing the relevant aspects of the scapula. The only thing I found was missing was a little aside about the suprascapular notch, which was shown in the slide, but not alluded to in the actual video lecture!

von Edward K. am 27. August 2017 für Inguinal Canal – Abdominal Walls and Inguinal Canal
good lecture- lost a star because illustrations are in latin. I do appreciate latin is completely acceptable to use in the context of anatomy, but in practice nobody uses latin terms and it feels outdated and counter-productive to learn the latin nomenclature.

FESTUS FROM ZAMBIA.
It's a great review of things!
von Anthony M. am 09. Juli 2017 für Thoracic Radiology
The thing that would make it GREAT (versus just very good) would be using effects on the PowerPoint or video to outline things on the imaging.
It's done a FEW times, but mainly just has a circle around an area or mouse hovering which works okay, but there's multiple times where even if there's a circle around it, I literally have no idea what I'm supposed to be recognizing. I can't make it out at all, even if replaying and pausing and staring.
It would greatly accelerate things, in my opinion (and doable bc it's done a few times...either outlining or highlighting)

Absolutely lovely and visual. The lecturer was very precise and it helped me enjoy the lecture
good slides
von Beate U. am 02. Juli 2017 für Brain and Nervous System—Anatomy
basically the slides are all that matters in the course; the lecturer doesn´t add anything to them, so I just read the slides not listening to him. Could be better
General
von David D. am 08. Juni 2017 für Thyroid Gland – Neck
Good pace, but information relating to the thyroid gland is lacking. This is more of a general overview.
GREAT JOB PROF. CANBY
von ABRAHAM I. am 07. Juni 2017 für Arterial Supply and Nerve Supply of Dura Mater

Thank you so much!!
Really I´m so grateful. You are helping me a lot with all my studies.
Greats from México City.
Lecturer
von Renato B. am 02. Juni 2017 für Cerebral Cortex
The content of the anatomy videos are great, beautiful diagrams, well written sentences, but with due respect to the lecturer, he has no game and kills the lecture for me. He is basically reading the power points with nothing new to add to the lecture and the fact that he swipe the tablet for the next sentence to appear slows down the lecture even more. It's really hard to advocate for the program. The word of mouth is not helping here. Ive showed it to friends and they are not willing to purchase the course, not to mention I've reported 4 mistakes in the anatomy material so far. Im glad we have the 10 days testing period, because Im cancelling the subscription. It hasnt proved to me the material is worth $60.
terrible
von Theresa N. am 01. Juni 2017 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
i dont like it. in the ad, it was free,
now im told to suscribe

excellent
von sumaya h. am 27. Mai 2017 für Spinal Cord Segments and Spinal Nerves
It was very simple and understandable. I could keep up without being confused.
FEEDBACK
von JoseAnthony I. am 27. Mai 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
I would like in the questions, a rationale of the answer goes directly to the part of the lecture where it is explained. Like an option would be great
Straight Forward and Concise
von Curtis u. am 25. Mai 2017 für Clinical Correlation: Vertebral Artery Syndrome – Carotid and Subclavian Arteries
Lecturer is knowledgeable and seems to care about the student's understanding of the material.
Great for visual learners!
von Mariana B. am 24. Mai 2017 für Cerebral Cortex
Dr. Canby makes neuroanatomy very simple to understand! This lecture covers all the essentials, with great, colorful slides, perfect for visual learners!
Very Good
von Michael O. am 19. Mai 2017 für Cerebral Cortex
I thought it was very straight forward and informational. Pretty good just for starters.
Lots of Detail by Engaging Lecteuer
von deleted u. am 16. Mai 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
Lecture covered lots of details without becoming boring. Presented at a medically relevant level. Basically, animates the contents in an anatomical atlas. Results are better retention!
Interesting Lecture without becoming Boring
von deleted u. am 16. Mai 2017 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
Great lecturer! Covers the topic without becoming bogged down in the details.
I can see the light!
von Kwame M. am 15. Mai 2017 für Sensory Histology
I really do enjoy the way the app is constructed and the bookmatcher feature is absolutely amazing.
This app has allowed me to regain control of information I had learned previously and order it in the manner it requires for understanding and ultimately, utilisation.
Every medical student could benefit immediately by using this app.
Great teacher
von STEVEN S. am 15. Mai 2017 für Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)

von lidia b. am 10. Mai 2017 für Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)
so boring, it's no easy to follow. More pictures would be appeciated
Very useful video
von Maria Gracia S. am 10. Mai 2017 für Overview of the Cranial Nerves I—VI and Their Functional Components
I choosed this rating because it explains the topic very well, and I also like the clarification of the functions of a nerve.
great and clear notes
von Rebekah C. am 08. Mai 2017 für Abdomen [Archive]
my fellow course mates
good for recalling important information before exams
okay lecturer but not captivating
von Thomas R. am 07. Mai 2017 für Brain Stem Components: Midbrain, Pons and Medulla Oblongata
lacklustre explanation and too concise - neuroanatomy is a subject that needs far more explanation even if just a review
Great but missing some things
von Dani H. am 06. Mai 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
Overall great, but is missing much of the details in the skull (for example names of the specific bones, features of the bones, etc.) and head in general.
Tidy, but a little cursory!
von Cassandra J. am 01. Mai 2017 für Fascial Spaces and Surgical Access to Trachea – Neck
A clear and concise overview of the fascial spaces. However, I think the coverage of the surgical access to the trachea was way too superficial. Details of the levels of relevant anatomical zones, and how to locate these areas in a clinical manner would've been greatly appreciated. Otherwise very useful!
More detail needed
von Kamil S. am 26. April 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
Whilst useful for a brief introduction, I do not feel the lecturio anatomy programme in general provides sufficient detail to be a main-line resource. The videos are too brief and superficial in content to adequately prepare a student for internal examinations, let alone to an NBME standard.
The presentation itself is clear and ok.
Boring
von Shirley E. am 18. April 2017 für Cranial Nerve IV: Trochlear Nerve
The information is sound but he's boring, He does not make the material interesting. I find it hard to pay attention or not fall asleep during his lectures and therefore i do not do well with the quizzes.
fantastic
von Abd Alrahman O. am 17. April 2017 für Introduction esp. Triangles of the Neck – Neck

awesome
von antonypa f. am 02. April 2017 für Compartments and Cervical Fascia – Neck

Post complications?
von Hamed S. am 28. März 2017 für Inguinal and Femoral Hernias
Good talk I would have liked the discussion to also include post operative complications as well as recurrence rates following hernia repair.
Very general
von Mazen N. am 27. März 2017 für Thyroid Gland – Neck
it is extremely general and does not provide the important notes about the gland like its blood suplly, innervation and details about what could be damaged if a thyrodectomy was preformed wrongly.
Great detail that is short and succinct
von Joshua W. am 21. März 2017 für Abdomen [Archive]
As a newly qualified paramedic, the lectures are assisting me in going into much more detail and understand deeper the anatomy and physiology of the body, allowing for a more detailed assessment yet still responsive within emergency care situations.
Good, but not great.
von deleted u. am 20. März 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
The course brings the general ideia of the anatomy content with interesting clinical correlations. Although, the lectures could be more detailed, specially in vascular anatomy. I also suggest more precise images.
Great lecturer
von Gais T. am 19. März 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
Great lecturer and keeps it simple with step by step. Also his slides are very simple yet thorough thereby not confusing the student with too much content per slide.
Needing more details
von Hamed S. am 16. März 2017 für Sub-Acute Headache, Chronic Headache and Migraine
It would have been good to further discuss migraine headaches and tensions headaches. I would have like to learn more about the features of aura (incl scotomas). Moreover, a discussion on what constitutes medication overuse headache is warranted given the ease of access to OTC analgesics. Finally an opportunity has been missed to discuss if which circumstances you would consider the use of prophylactic therapies
Very good lecture
von Michael O. am 15. März 2017 für Thoracic Outlet Syndrome – Neck
Since anatomy is a very difficult subject and very vast, I think that Canby does an excellent job at slowing down and being concise. This lecture hits all the key points as well as ask relevant questions to help retain the information.
Contrast of Lectures
von Ebenezer G. am 02. März 2017 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
Lectures on Anatomy of the Heart was more concise, very comphrensible and corresponded with Last Anatomy textbook. Upper Limb Lectures wasn't as concise as Lectures on The Thorax( Heart). But I am very grateful to Lecturio for making my learning more simplified....
Excellent and would highly recommend
von Tina T. am 28. Februar 2017 für Intrapartum Care
She is very thorough without burdening with too much jargon or unnecessary details. She also teaches through high yield questions and case examples. I would definitely recommend this course for subject exams and USMLE review
Very good
von Eda D. am 27. Februar 2017 für Abdomen [Archive]
Very good explanations also you can speed the video up which is nice.
Lecturio is a great way to learn medicine.
von RANGANATHAN S. am 12. Februar 2017 für Upper Limb Anatomy [Archive]
I liked the lectures very much . The in-depth classification of bones, muscles and associated systems surely was great. The clarity in voice and imaging helped me understand a great deal on appendicular skeleton . And i also scored great marks in the tests conducted on the topic anatomy of upper limbs at the university. Surely lecturio is the best choice for all medical U.G students. Thank you lecturio for your marvellous services.

Good but incomplete.
von Sahiba S. am 29. Januar 2017 für Head and Neck Anatomy with Dr. Canby
Good videos, but incomplete for a full head and neck series - does not include important structures such as facial and trigeminal nerves, more on neck dissections - which are crucial for understanding head and neck anatomy
really nice

the professor should smile a bit :) His tone is scary at times.
Very helpful
von Neuer N. am 17. Januar 2017 für Compartments and Cervical Fascia – Neck
I picked this rate because he gives detail about the neck and parts of the neck. I really like this for a 9th grader it's helping me learn more for med school. Please do more videos, not just for me, but for people that want to be something when they make it to med school or college. This website is very helpful in many ways like: when you are on the way to school and your have a test about the human body, or when you just want to study for a test a week or two away. I plan to keep using this website for important chooses in my life. I want to be able to help people with their problems and give them information. I don't want to go home and be that one person with a dream and not go for it. I want to be a help and influence to people in need so, keep making these videos and make people happy for what they want to be in life.
