Principles of Economics (WI001056_1) - English | WS2019/2020, WS 2020/2021

The lecture was very clear, especially for a student like me who had not been exposed to many economics concepts before, this lecture makes it easy for me to listen, and understand.

Everything has been broken down well, so the course is perfect for someone who hasn't learnt economics before, like engineering students. The professor has explained all examples in detail, which makes it very useful for the exam as well.

I am a computer science student and have no background in economics. Dr. Feilcke's lectures were extremely interesting and informative. The way he looks into the story told by graphs and gives the historical context for a particular topic is great. I enjoyed the course.

I would like to recommend this course, Dr. Feilcke is a very patient lecturer and is willing to explain things five times - always from a different point of view - if someone didnt get the point. So you experience a lecturer that is willing to help all students and not just the excellent ones

Repetitive. He says the same thing many times. One thing is explained in multiple different ways. You get to hear A and A and then A and more concretely A. Did I forget to mention A? Read this review, this is the course.

Dr. Feilcke is able to explain the Principles of Economics in a very plastic way, which makes it easy to understand the matter. I really like that, and how he describes his thinking process when solving questions and introducing new principles and relations, but also when giving examples. I actually really enjoy attending his class.

He really utilizes the time in the lecture trying to make things very clear to the students. He likes to explain things thoroughly using examples and repeats it very often from different perspectives. I find his explanation very understandable. The course is very good for understanding the basics of economics.

I really like the way he is pronouncing every word and the way he uses gestures and body language to convey the information of the lecture. Also, the content is fairly well-structured.
