CNS Pharmacology is a hard and confuse matter but Dr. Shukle presents it clearly and for good comprehention. I tecognize is necesary to see the videos at least twice, but is the best lecture I have see.

I highly recommend the CNS pharmacology course by Lecturio. It is useful to review the main concepts of the subject.

I personally do not think that there was not enough of necessary depth taken for this topic that I had to rely on what I learned in medical school or look up information on external sites, which is FINE, but I thought the whole point of these videos were for review and the topics that needed review were not covered. I think the basic concept that of comparing the fetal heart tracing to the maternal tracing is missed. The explanation of the categories was so confusing. It should have just been Category I is this, Category III is this, and Category II is anything not above - this is so plain and simple. Instead, the lecture slide made it look like there were certain criteria that needed to be met for Category II. I do not think this was the best lecture by Dr. Gillispie and I recommend looking for outside sources to review this topic.

This classes are not bad but sometimes are difficult to understand

organization of the MRI section is confusing. It would have been better to show the definitions and the pictures at the same time...instead of using terms not previously introduced...and then switching to the definitions, but now the viewer can't see the image which demonstrates the terms. Instead, I had to look up the terms on my own and then I could better understand the lecture. I also had to spend time going back and forth with the slides and transcript/video to better understand. In short, the organization of this section could have been done better.

Dr. Raj has a way of teaching that allows only high Iq people to understand which is very good for me but looks like low Iq lecturio users are complaining about Dr. Raj. The technical explanations leave something to be desired of. There are some mistakes, and a lot of omitted material that would have been great to include. Weird because it is far below the usual level of Lecturio courses. If you remember only a very little of your medical physics course, do not spend time watching these videos.

Dr. Raj speaks too fast to understand and his teaching style is strange making the concepts harder to understand than needed. He speaks fast through things we need to learn and slow through things less relevant.

Dr. Gillispie has a great presence and attitude that regardless my very low interest in obstetrics I get hooked to her lessons. I am glad I found her videos because Obstetrics is one of my weak areas.

I love the way the topics are explained in detail, how I am given an idea of what to expect from the specific lecture before the lecture starts going into detail...and also the fact that there are subtitles is a plus for me, because it helps me not to lose focus easily

I cannot understand how Lecturio managed to find so many other competent professors to teach, anatomy, physiology (wonderful!!), histology (ditto!!), internal medicine etc and yet ended up with Raj as the pathology professor for almost ALL the pathology. I thank Lecturio for how much they helped me with the aforementioned subjects but with regards to pathology, I am very disappointed. His lectures are too fast, not detailed enough, he doesn't teach so much as he summarizes only a few key facts while leaving out other important information that I then have to look up myself or subscribe to another website such OSMOSIS, PICMONIC, MEDSKL that do a significantly better job at explaining pathology. It is obvious that Raj is passionate about pathology but he should really read the comments left by the majority of viewers and not the very few 5 stars he gets from the same 3 people. YOU CAN DO BETTER LECTURIO AND DR. RAJ but you must choose to do better and put in the work. I may recommend Lecturio for all the other topics, but as for pathology, I will not be recommending Lecturio, which is very unfortunate.

It's brief, concise and Dr. Alverson clearly explains the benefits of breastfeeding as well as give some problems to be aware of. Another thing that I liked was that he highlights the role skin to skin bond and the importance to start breast feeding as soon as possible even if the mother doesn't have much milk in the first hours.

It's not very useful for me to remember the exact type of technetium-99 used for each different type of test. However, this might not be as much the fault of this course as well as a feature lacking in lecturio (to remove certain quiz questions if they are not relevant for you).

Really like this professor. Talks very clearly, so (because this is all repetition for me), I can watch at 1.5 times speed. Questions are generally very clear and I love the suggestions of when to pause the videos for having a better look at the pictures.

This is a great overview of CYP and PGP issues. Drug biotransformation is a very complex topic and this is an excellent primer on some key issues. I hope to see more like this.

Very good! Just one thing that i dislike, teacher speaks very fast, because she is reading almost of time, she just speaks slower when she is explaining something for example in a x-ray. So for that reason i could not understand everything at first time when i was watching.

I decided to rate this lecture as a 1 because of the confusing diagram. If the diagram would have been broken down it might have been better to learn from. But having the entire diagram of extrinsic and intrinsic pathways completely filled out at once made it incredibly difficult to follow along. I felt like it was unclear and jumped around a bit.

The explanations are very clear and followed step-by-step. Also there are a lot of cases and until the end of the lecture you see enough of the same pathology to have an idea. Love it!

Dr. Raj does a good job teaching and he does a good job of connecting the theory to clinical scenarios, but sometimes the lectures are not as easy to follow i.e. a litte bit disorganised. It would be easier to follow, if you had a script with some of the high associations with explanations. It would make it easier to follow. Also, there are some topics missing for basic pathology e.g. cell injury, necrosis and apoptosis. You should definitely make some more videos!

The lectures are concise, straight to the point, and yes, fun. The quizzes also make it easier to focus, as well as help memorise important material. As with other lectures, it would be nice if USMLE style questions were embedded in the lectures for better integration of the topics covered.

Videos were very professional, to the point and included very helpful graphics. The MRI overview was still a little challenging for a beginner student, especially the bit about T1 and T2 images.

I think adding an image might help to clarify the solubility issue: AH can diffuse through lipid bilayer, but is less soluble in water, so would become "trapped" in urine, and the inverse for bases: B form being soluble in lipids, but not in water. As a Danish medical student, with English only as my second language, I admit, I had to spend some time "tuning in" on Dr. Raj's way of speaking. See, he's an extremely fast speaker, but as I did get used to this, I really learned to appreciate his way of teaching. The image in this lecture is not great to comprehend as its a little too messy. I like how the protein K factors were IDfiable, but the discussion regarding it mentioned warfarin too much... lets focus on the cascades here and the process, and save the drug and protein K processing for the other lecture on those specific subjects.

I love the clinical application. It makes it so much more exciting to learn and remember because as Dr Carlos Raj points out it's not just memorising. I must say his way of speaking makes it even more exciting :) On a serious note though-mentioning how serious it is to act on dysplasia or when the BM is involved-we should be saying omg, and not looking at him. Looking forward to more lectures-wish he was lecturing the subjects to keep that interest and significance of the subject and our job.

I liked his class. The Lecurer breaks the material down in a way that is easy to undersand. This course is a god send. I have to take this course being an FNP student in graduate school. The quizes are remarkedly like our exams in Advanced Pharmacology. I like how the quizes pop up in the middle of the lecture, it helps you process the material. I plan on taking all the advanced pharmacology course offered and tthe price cant be beat. You are learning valuable material like you would in a college course only it is a lot less money. The knowledge I am learing from this course is invaluable to me and is helping my confidence before I take my advanced pharmacology course for colleg credit. I will follow up with a review when I actually pass the class. I already know it is helping me. Thank you for making this availble to the public. I wish I could get college credit for this. I would say I love the course, But I am not a big fan of pharmacolgy in general as it is a very challenging course for me.

Doctor Raj shows huge knowledge on the subject, but goes through some important and difficult points too 'en passant', as on details of cellular signaling and too many unexplained abbreviations (mpgn, e.g.). At the same time, quite a long time was spent unnecessarily reinforcing obvious concepts ( superoxide / phagocytosis etc). I'm strongly willing to better rate his lectures on the next courses.

It is a good review about pregnancy physiology, it help's remainding short but key concepts we must know.

It is interesting how Doctor Raj teaches you about the basic principles of cellular pathology and carcionogenesis. It's good but way too fast. I've already watched the old course by another lecturer and had lectures at school and read my embryology book on this about 6 weeks ago and am using this as exam prep to remember what I've forgotten while focusing on anatomy till now but even though this is not new territory, it is still too fast. Have to pause to read the slides and rewind a lot. If this is watched by someone completely new to embryology, they'd have a hard time following this. It's funny there's a button to increase speed. Might wanna add an option to slow it down too. It could be more detailed but for me personally, this covers the level of detail in our exams.

Incomplete information. I'm fascinated with the fact-based approach to the biochemistry of the human body. I like learning about the role that nutrition plays in disease prevention and the overall affects on human health. However, this course appears to still support the outdated views on proper nutrition and nutrition-related disease prevention. I feel that physicians do not get sufficient quality education on nutrition and that corporate interests still play too much of a role in both nutrition studies and nutritional recommendations. Today's healthcare system is more of a "disease care" system, and this profit-centered business approach, specifically with Pharmaceuticals, is doing little good, and in fact, doing a disservice to the overall welfare of the American people.

Easily understandable with some basic pathology and anatomy related to the radiological findings. Very helpful that some of the cases had circled the pathological finding.

Since I've been using lecturio for pharmacology everything started to make sense. I was very worried I would never be able to understand and know all the aspects of differt drugs, because no one explained them to me as good as professor Shuckle. I like it very much because after a clear clasification of drugs and explaining each one, doctor Shuckle introduses personal experience( pericarditis treated with aspirin) which made me remember some things better. Radiology can be challenging and overwhelming for a medical student. First and second year, radiology is mostly overlooked. However, it is very necessary for the third year on a daily basis. Dr. Verma delivered an easy to understand and concise introduction to the course.

Explanation of the T1 & T2 Terminology and how it works is lacking. Could have used way more slides to visualize this: MRI in Practice by C. Westbrook et al show how this can be done in Chapter 1. Important concepts which need to be properly explained, in this video it looks like it has been half heartedly done.

Well presented and very rich abdominal Anatomy. such lectures are very educative. cost effective as there is really no need to jump on the plane. keep this spirit going. FESTUS FROM ZAMBIA.

The thing that would make it GREAT (versus just very good) would be using effects on the PowerPoint or video to outline things on the imaging. It's done a FEW times, but mainly just has a circle around an area or mouse hovering which works okay, but there's multiple times where even if there's a circle around it, I literally have no idea what I'm supposed to be recognizing. I can't make it out at all, even if replaying and pausing and staring. It would greatly accelerate things, in my opinion (and doable bc it's done a few times...either outlining or highlighting)

Especially as an intro course this was excellent. Dr Verma has a great tonality to her voice and it makes it very easy to listen to her The video has some areas of concern where we can't actually see what she is pointing out about but after 30++ years of surgery I understood what she was suggesting. She is very thorough without burdening with too much jargon or unnecessary details. She also teaches through high yield questions and case examples. I would definitely recommend this course for subject exams and USMLE review

In this Nutrition course, Dr. Cornwall elaborates some basic nutritional principles that are essential for any student of Human physiology to understand. The way she presents the information is in much greater detail than what I was exposed to in the small Nutrition course held in Medical school. I particularly liked learning about the Mifflin-St. Jeor Formula for calculating Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR); it literally changed the way I look at food!

The program was to elementary in nature and not deep enough. Sections on pregnancy nutrition was very superficial

It is amazing. I understood in 10 minutes what I couldn't understand for days. It would have been better if it explains more about the subjects but even though it's good.

He challenges you beyond what you expect. Keeps your mind working and relating the concept at hand to other crucial points; thinking on your feet is great.

The professor seems to be an expert in his field however his speaks a little slurred and sound monotonic. Otherwise its great!

It is a great course with a great teacher! all the amount of information and just the detail that you need for the exam. I am beginning like the pharmacology due to his clinical and very practical approach. the tips for the exam are a plus++

Excellent principles of cellular pathology; some of the pharmacology was very US-specific but that's only to be expected. Greatly enhanced my understanding of cancer, genetic faults and other cellular pathologies in general, felt much more comfortable with my upcoming exams.
