Stuart Enoch, PhD

Dr. Stuart Enoch is the founder and executive director of the Doctors Academy Group, an independent medical education provider in the UK.
After completing a PhD in Cell Biology at the University of Cardiff and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Sciences at the University of Liverpool, he pursued Specialist Training in Burns and Plastic Surgery.
In addition to clinical work, he has been actively involved in medical education and training throughout his career. He has won several awards and research fellowships and co-chairs global events, e.g., the International Medical Summer School in Manchester.
Within Lecturio, he teaches the MRCS Part A Revision Course.

 Jeremy Brown, PhD, MRCP(UK), MBBS

Jeremy Brown, PhD, MRCP(UK), MBBS

Professor Jeremy Brown is a Professor of Respiratory Infection at the University College of London (UCL) in England, UK.
He obtained his PhD in molecular microbiology from the University of London in 1999. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant at UCL, and Lead Teacher for respiratory medicine undergraduate teaching at the University College London Hospitals (UCLH).
Due to his achievements, he obtained a Welcome Advanced Research Fellowship for further scientific training at the University of Adelaide. He has also led internationally respected research programs in pneumonia prevention and antibiotic resistance.
Within Lecturio, Dr. Brown teaches courses on Respiratory Medicine and Pulmonology.

 Vincent Racaniello, PhD

Vincent Racaniello, PhD

Dr. Vincent Racaniello is a Higgins Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Columbia University, in New York, USA.
He obtained his PhD at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in New York City, in 1979 and joined the faculty of Columbia University in 1982.
Because of his achievements, he has received several awards, including the Irma T. Hirschl, Searle Scholars Program, Eli Lilly, and NIH Merit Awards. Dr. Racaniello is interested in using new media for medical education; he writes on his virology blog and hosts and produces several podcasts.
Within Lecturio, Dr. Racaniello teaches courses on Microbiology.

John Fisher, MD

Dr. John F. Fisher is a Professor of Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University in the USA.
He obtained his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 1969. He is a Master of the American College of Physicians (MACP) and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
Due to his achievements, he has earned the Annual J. Willis Hurst Teaching Award, the Jane F. Deforges Excellence in Medical Education Award, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America's Clinical Teacher Award.
Within Lecturio, Dr. Fisher teaches courses on Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Charles Vega is the Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine in California, USA.
He obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Wisconsin, and completed residency training in Family Medicine at UC Irvine. Currently, he is the Executive Director of UCI’s Program in Medical Education for the Latino Community.
Due to his achievements, he earned a Macy Faculty Scholarship to improve patient-centered health education at UCI.
Within Lecturio, Dr. Vega teaches courses on Family Medicine.

 Julianna Jung, MD, FACEP

Julianna Jung, MD, FACEP

Dr. Julianna Jung is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA.
She obtained her MD at Johns Hopkins University in 1999. Since 2006, she is the Director of Medical Student Education in the Emergency Medicine Department, and she was appointed the Associate Director of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Simulation Center in 2011.
She directs several major educational initiatives for medical students at Johns Hopkins, and her work has been recognized with several teaching awards, including the prestigious George J. Stuart Award.

Very clear and useful! I especially like how she reemphasizes that some people in septic shock are compensated, so we must be careful and look for subtle clues of sepsis and septic shock.
