Well explained with all its components. Better than reading 30 slides of ppt
Me gusta mucho más la introducción a este curso que la introducción aburrida que me dieron en la universidad. Se ve emocionante aprender el siguiente contenido
while visual aids were pretty cool, the lecture was more of narration but not with simplicity and in-depth tutoring i am accustomed to. I was hoping for more variation, which was the reason i spent a little more time watching them. After a few, i concluded that it wasn't doing it for me. But of course, it was only a few topics i reviewed as i was busy with clinical rotations. thank you all in all.
he keeps students engaged and uses simple and effective way to talk.

Me encantó como lo ha explicado, paso a paso, de manera detallada y concisa. He aprendido mucho gracias a este video, ¡gracias!
Very clear and precise explanation. Very professional. Thank you very much.
Dr. Georgina turns difficult topics in genetics into clear and simple concepts that are easy to digest! For the first time I feel like am starting to understand the Central Dogma and related subjects better thanks to her. She's also greatly commited to student success by answering to students questions and concerns about the subject.
Easy to understand.I like how she uses examples to illustrate passive vs. active transport.
Amazing lecture, Dr. Georgina lessons are by far the best I've had in citology. Very clear and straight forward, perfect for the Mcat. Thank you!
Everything was incredible, But I think one of the question has two correct answers Anyway with a increase afterload the SV decrease and ESV increase and the preoload increase too.
it was a Great conference !! i understand it at once
Excellent illustration, very informative. Lecturio is a life saver, I love it ?
The most important part of this lecture in my opinion is the analogies that Dr. Georgina offers. It really help us to understand for example when she associated the Golgi Complex with a Fedex facility, or when she connects the fact that liver cells have more SER since one of its important functions is detoxification.
I like how she breaks down the information in small and easy to understand pieces. There's no need to overcomplicate things like other science teachers love to do.
So clear and to the point - perfect - love this video
Thank you so much, Dr Thad. You're very clever in coming up with the 'gnomes' example, which is perfect for quickly understanding Acid-base. Thanks again.
This lesson is explained very well! It's clear to me what Lineweaver-Burk plot means and how enzymes are most efficient when they have high Kcat/low Km
Very well explain and the quizes are a great help
I like all videos & I want to more teach you about this and your lectures is so brilliant
It represents the form of most prevalent diseases nowadays. It's important for the medical-science.
very clear explanation. great content. great lecturer. good pace of speech, making it easy to listen. nice clear visuals
Hmm slow Understanding Hi Hi Hi how many words for bedrock severs the best player from the bottom line of n mosses ?
The video by Lecturio provides an excellent overview of the electron transport chain and chemiosmosis, two of the most important metabolic processes in the cell. These processes work together to produce ATP, the cell's energy currency. One of the most interesting things about the electron transport chain is that it is a highly efficient way to convert energy from food into ATP. The chain uses the energy from NADH and FADH2, two electron carriers that are produced during glycolysis and the Krebs cycle, to pump protons across the inner mitochondrial membrane. This creates a proton gradient, which is like a dam holding back a reservoir of energy. The ATP synthase enzyme then uses the energy of the proton gradient to drive the synthesis of ATP from ADP and inorganic phosphate. This process is called chemiosmosis. The video does a great job of explaining the complex steps of the electron transport chain and chemiosmosis in a clear and concise way. It also provides helpful animations and diagrams that illustrate the process.
she is doing very well in explaining the topics and precise.
Thank you! I appreciate how you explain this material. Thank you
It was a clear and compelling lecture I wish more of the physiology course lectures be like this one
ok me gusto mucho esta leccion , gracias por hacer lecturio para estudiar
honestly, it almost looks like it was explained in the most unclear way I ever hear. on&off centers, no explanation on the laters of the retina, where did the signal send further by bipolar cells and maybe a little bit on the pathway could be nice probably a little bit more thinking need to be done here in order to makes it easier to understand
I like this course because the lecturer explains and present slides in a clear format. The contents of the course are well delivered. I really recommend this course.
sooooo sooo good!!! i understoof everything and is amazing that he included everything important about this bacteria! great teacher!
Great material easy to learn good pictures …..thank you so much
This lecture was extremely superficial. Serology is not discussed and neither the nuances of treatment of the pregnant patient. Cerebral and ocular forms of toxoplasmosis were also skipped. You need to get a physician specializing in Famliy Medicine to give this leture.
5 star rating. it is summarized with systematic flow of concepts and question reviews at each stage. i recommend it to every medical student.
Simply explained. Can't emphasize more how important this is
So useful, and yes the sound is on! It would be nice if you went deeper into the diagnosis
I like the immediate quiz and 'notes' format after each video.
Vino todo lo que me preguntaron en el examen muchas gracias
very good explanation! thank you for everything you done for oss!
The information is presented in a way that is easy to understand! Thank you ????
very confused and not organized I feel like its too messy and i can't catch the points
really gr8. to the point. fascinating. this whole program is quality cme. _JC

A great summary and introduction to an important but sometimes confusing topic. The questions following the mini lectures sometimes seemed out of sink, covered in a later lecture, etc. For students using this as a key resource, it is essential they understand that using the suggested textbooks and answering all the questions is necessary if preparing of licensing exams, etc.
Thank you Doctor Wilson for your simple and understandable lecture.
I like it very much ! This particular lecture is very complex and brilliant way of presenting by a doctor Vincent Racaniello.
Yes, another brilliant lecture , a very difficult subject endocrine pathology but Dr, Thad Wilson explains really well.
I wish there were more foundational details included. I think Dr. Cornwall presented the material with the expectation that the listener already has a solid foundation in genetics.
I appreciate the approach to clear concepts and road map to the subject matter.
Unfortunately, Dr Cornwall confuses an already confusing topic. Waste of time that i don't have
Amazing cognetive connection which clear the whole picture and clarify the matter
This subject was amazing to learn, and Georgina makes it easy to understand, so I could say that really loved this course, thank you.
Very nicely and shortly summarizef the subjects. Crystal clear concepts, easy to understand.
Well structured and comprehensible. Ms Georgina Cornwall makes pleasant pauses between sentences, speaks clearly and explains so that it is easy to follow. The questions afterwards are also very helpful.
I understand that medical genetics is a difficult course to review but improvements are definitely needed in the following areas: 1. State and simplify definitions. Too often i need to refer to Google for a more basic explanation. 2. Please stop assuming basic knowledge is still fresh. I haven't study genetics in 7 years and i have forgotten EVERYTHING! So, along the way and with each new concept please give some foundational information.
I call him the "Bacteria man". One of the best !! His level of knowledge in the course is spectacular. Great !! I don't dislike anything about him I will recommend to my colleagues medical students
This man has made microbiology really easy for me to revise I like him so much because he is knowledgeable and calm. I definitely don't dislike anything about him I will recommend to my colleagues medical students
Prof Kevin Ahern is incredible! Great summary and really well explained!
I am enjoying the lectures. I have two, very minor issues. 1. They are a bit too "granular". Some are so short as to prevent you from digesting the material as it is presented. 2. On several occasions, the questions were not covered in that segment but rather in the next!
Topic is not comparing the topics from previous topics in the table form. Then students will remembered
As a retired physician, still professing clinical subjects at a medical school, it is great to have an opportunity to revisit topics last studied in depth in the 1970s! It is presented in clear and digestible aliquots and in a logical sequence by qualified lecturers.
The teaching is basic and does not represent material tested on USMLE exams. The concepts are taught by an instructor unfamiliar with the actual exam. Technically, questions pop up in the middle of a sentence and sometimes before the subject matter tested was mentioned.
well explained lectures well explained lectures well explained lectures well explained lectures
An excellent and detailed description of each phase with emphases on correct language.
so far I have been enjoying the course, would love to go back and continue when I'm not so occupied
Ms Cornwall presentations hard to understand with no clear imaging and orientation of the slides
the way how the professor explain the topic is very easy to learn
This helped me so much with studying for my endocrine midterms
Concise and easy to understand content. Thank you Dr.Georgina!
Great review for practicing physicians who have been out of med school for some time.
PhD. Wilson is a great teacher, really nice explanations and excellent knowledge of all the subjects.
Literally worst professor ever, she seems so desoriented and feels like she haven't even prepared the class
I find the lectures very easy to understand and remember. I enjoy the fun parts too.
on of the best lecture thanks to professor and lecturio also
The lectures are quite informative and clearly presented. It's like I'm attending a class for the very first time since I've taken an extended break from studying microbiology but I am confident that I will do well
thanks for your ineffable help, Thad Wilson and also Lecturio's team
It is too simple like introductory biology. We need more advanced molecular biology
Exellent lecture. Thank for teaching me. Enjoy teaching you are best.
Dr. Rcaniello has very good lecture, easy to understand and a pleasure to watch! The tone is calm and the explanation are so detailed and well explained! Thank you!
lack of information no explanation ,its like you are reading headings. and the quiz questions are poorly made.
I enjoy the simplicity they present the topics with. Definitely worth watching before the class for a better understanding.
It's very well explained, but still need to be more detailed. For my parasites exam it is not suffice.
It is clear and well organized so that I could learn the subjects which seemed complicated when the lecturer presented them in university. It also made me interested in microbiology which I didn't even like to learn it. Thank you
Dr. Wilson did a great job putting together such a useful and condensed summary of the renal system’s phisiology!
Physiology for me was just something that, as Medicine student, I had to study... After Dr. Thad Wilson's courses, actually I'm enjoying it! Very good structure, the tone is calm, very good explanation, funny mnemonics and many useful info that I'm sure will be valuable for my proffesional future! Thank you, Dr. Wilson!!!
I'm a fan of Dr. Wilson! Everything very well structured, the tone of voice is calm and everything is explained well, in details. Thank you, Dr. Wilson! My goal as a student is to successfully finish the entire Physiology course :)
Thank you for this lecture. Very good explanation, excellent structure! Dr. Wilson, you are awesome!!!
Great way to remember the three portions of the ribosome!
I, really, liked ALL of Dr. Cornwall's lectures, but did NOT find time to rate them! I am, still, trying to put it all together because molecular biology is my most difficult subject, but Dr. Cornwall put together much that I knew -- and I am far better off than beforehand! I, definitely, now understand as much as any medical student ought to about molecular biology -- and thus, I am glad that I made notes the whole way, giving me paperwork to re-think all that Dr. Cornwall taught me! Thus, I wish Dr. Cornwall the best and am grateful! :)
So easy and set in an interesting way. Very well covered
Great summary and really well taught! The professor knows pedagogy very well.
Breaks concepts down easily and love the review questions. Helps solidify learning.
The video was not lengthy. And it was short and concise.
Nice gooooooooooood n I c e n I c e n I c e
Thank you, Dt. Cornwall, for this chapter!!! It was very useful and finally, with the help of your tips, mnemonic and your awesome teaching style, I could understand the process!
Great summarized information in neurophysiology! Very well taught and very professional!
Great lecture, very allegoric, nice and easy to understand. Great didactics and methodology.
Muy claro y conciso con su conferencia, me agrada la manera de abordar el tema.
The lecture series was great over all but I was wondering if there’s an anion gap lecture regarding the calculations needed to identify a widened gap as well as the delta-delta equations. And if so why isn’t it part of the acid-based series?
Really well done! It’s very helpful to recall and reinforce basic concepts.
Providing feedback as requested with the sole goal of helping you improve the service. Generally - I like it, but my impression is that simple things are explained in great detail, whereas the explanation of most complex items is rushed and insufficient. I had to search elsewhere for information.
This really helped to understand the fluid compartments and where the ions are located. The graphics were great and explained the concept well.
very new insight to explain macronutrient and fruit for thought
Very good explanation by Dr. Vincent Racaniello. Clear and precise language and can be well understood by laymen. Pretty impressive work. Highly recommended.
Simple looking best detailed explanation. Thanks lecturio. Thanks Thad Wilson :)
I love Dr. Wilson's lectures because his explanations are easy to understand even though he attacks very complex topics.
Excellent speaker. He makes very difficult content manageable by having nice explanations at a good, slow pace.
Great course! I will recommend it to all of my peers. I love that the speaker speaks clearly and slowly, although the pace becomes a normal conversational pace at 1.25x speed. This allows me to go through the content that is easy for me to understand quickly (at 1.25x to 1.5x speed) while I go through more difficult content at a slower pace (1.0x speed) without having the speak sound like he was drunk (0.75x to 0.5x speed).
Really liked Enough chemistry to explain it / not more Shows that she is passonate about the subject
I really enjoyed this course. It was explained well and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend it to anyone
Really love the videos by Proff Elliot, and I love that he explains that concepts are constantly changing but gave us the foundation to build on.
Excellent summary and overview. Read the concept pages for more detailed info.
best teacher in the world. such a good summary . thank you
This pro. is so good at lecturing, the course succinct and simplified. Love from Cambodia.
I loved it good explanation . will think of definetly subscribiing . straight to the point
Georgia Cornwall has done a conscientious job at teaching molecular and cellular biology -- and I enjoy it daily! :)
There are mistakes in the video and they make the material more confusing than it should be.
A very concise content with relevant short videos and quizzes. Great program
Coronavirus. Relevant topic. Could not have been made available at a better time. Very good job 5 stars. I encourage everyone to listen to all the lectures in this track. Although, more and newer information is made available everyday, this course makes a great foundation for solid knowledge based. I like it very much. 5 Stars.
I dont understand the neg review. This is such a good lecture covering the key points. I found it very helpful
Amazing very clear explanation. Simple Language. I will recommend to my friends
Ver clear good graphics explained simply good questions best lectures
I love it that I get a clearer view of the topic. The lecture is straightforward. Yes, I would recommend to others
The lecture is organized and precise. I would recommend it others. Moreover, it's less time consuming and as I said highlights what material is needed.
great lecture, i have been a doctor for a decade but nice to review this topic with such a brilliant lecuture. Thank you so much for your help.
Thad is awesome He made the subject so easy. The way he explains the concept is excellent and makes any topic easy to understand.
much wanted detail. thank you so much, perfect and informative.
The explanation are cleared. However, they are not included many scientific terms and scientific details that necessary to well understand the content and to do well in the MCAT exam. In other words the content of that lecture are too simple for MCAT students.
I understood very well the topics. I learned things I didn't before in school
very nice and concise . Good explanation with beautiful diagrams and interactive learning supplemented with a methodical approach
Professor Kevin make it enjoyable course; It helped not only in remembering many info that I forgot in the class, but also I did learn many new valuable information. The fact that the explanation provided by Dr. Kevin is so easy to understand and memorize, make this course very interesting.
the material had been given clear easy to understand .Helpful in clinical practice and updated ,which is super impoertant
I love cell biology and this classes are amazing. Thank you
sorry, my english is not so well, but it is very well here
Super simple and short! Great introduction to bacteriology and covers the major points.
A really great way of explaining the integration of systems for control of blood volume. The diagram is very systematic.
I really like it, thanks Thad, he is very good, I just want to make a general suggestion, that after each videos we answer the questions, it would be good if you guys put each questions' answer slide just after it, thanks
I am updating my knowledge base in microbiology as I dive into teaching the course on a more regular basis than before. The information presented in these videos is concise, delivered well by Dr. Racaniello, and given in small chunks that make it easy to stop and come back at a later time.
Clear and simple. Explained in good sequence. Thank very You.

it was very nice, love it, I am just ranking cause noone ever did, and really like Thad Wilson explains so good.
The most fun I had learning about bacteria. That Italian New Yorker accent is everything! His E. coli lectures are the reason I passed my midterm and can totally discuss anything E. coli like a pro. So happy I discovered him and will definitely come back for more.
Simple and consice lectures. Please Consider more clinical co relation.
Thanks for the equations and explanations, they're really helpful.
Thank you so much It was great I enjoyed watching these videos
How can the process of charging of tRNA be explained if the concept of tRNA has not been presented? What tRNA does and then how it's charged. I am loosing too much time googling stuff. Maybe it has been presented, but it's not part of this playlist, which should be complete.
Good job.. Great tutor.. I really enjoyed your teachings... Thanks
Simple. Precise. Very good. Don t waist any time. This topic is very high yield for any medical test.
Very good teaching. Very good images and very good explanation.
This is a very clarifying lecture on Listeria, taught by a professor with very good teaching skills. And kinda funny.
This explanation was not clear at all. I had to research a lot of information elsewhere to understand the concepts presented. This is the exact opposite of what is to be expected of something that should make students life easier.
I liked it very much. Lecture are well organised and Professors do their Job
Very difficult for me to remember the lesson but overall the topic is well covered
liked liked liked liked liked liked liked liked liked liked liked liked
very clear and detailed explanations, basics and detailed information is well explained.
I love this course bcuz it has made me to understand alot about the heart and DR. Thad Wilson made it better, I like the way he teaches.
Very concise and simple explanations. He made it easy to understand.
Makes the tough subject easier to understand . This app has shown very beneficial. I think I will buy the year subscription after my 3 months are up
Wonderful lecture. A very complex and interesting. It has great details and key moments has been highlighted.
yummye yummy yumme yom? yommer yom yom yom; yom yom yom.
Really great lectures, images, and humor! Love Lecturio! Thank you!
Simplified and we'll explained. The teacher knows her topics well and explains in a simple way for all to understand.
Clearly explained, using correct words and always summarizing the whole subject
Nice and comprehensive overview! Easy to understand/listen! Bacteria made easy.
Excellent content, well delivered. Great review for me since it has been over a year since I took microbiology.
Perfect... I undarstant many things here... Nice explanation Wish best for you
Best videos for usmle preparation Everyone joined this Most intelligent teachers
Microbiology is a founding block of all things medical. Professor Racaniello made not so easily pronounceable words sound so easy. His pace and style being so pleasant, he made it attractive for me to sit and focus start to end. I look forward to more of his lectures.
They are chunked in small amounts and presented very clearly. The visuals are excellent and the professor’s pace is terrific.
Brilliant course. It has a great differential diagnostics and an overall content is really good.
It's amazing how easy to understand this hard concepts can be with the help of Dr. Wilson
Loved cardiac physiology! Would recommend it as a refresher course... Great for undergraduates!
super Job, can be better at in depth and important concepts.
very good knowledge gained. Learnt a lot about RNA and DNA and messenger RNA
very clear , and natural. High yield, very in depth. Great knowledge gained
It is amazing review of renal Physiology with practical application
FINALLY! I get replicated homologous chromosomes! Professor Cornwall cleared up a haze I had about this point for years in 3 seconds. I don't understand why there are not more people who emphasis the difference between homologous and replicated homologous chromosomes. Thank you Professor Cornwall.
I had difficulty with respiratory physiology but sir made it easy for me thank you sir
The concepts mentioned in this lecture are very confusing and poorly explained. She made no effort to clarify the meaning of homeodomain, homeoprotein, and other such concepts. Also, she seems very unsure of what she is teaching and the speed is too fast to properly retain the information.
I love the way the professor teach and the PPT are well planed
not enough details, like the fast staph. is Catalase-positive and non motile . more details needed.
It was very comprehensive and I loved how easy it was to understand
I liked the course ,but a little more explination is needed in each of the clases
I LOVE THIS DOCTOR , he make the lecture more absorbable
I really appreciate because it helped me a lot to grab such a complicated topic in a simple or decent way.i can't explain.eventually I loved to learn subjects in this manner
a m a x z i n g l e c t u r e s
I am a practising doctor not appearing for any examination, I am watching it to refresh my knowledge. I find it very useful my concepts are refreshed I am getting additional information about recent research and it’s easier to understand with visuals and graphs
I appreciate these refresher and very well-explained building lectures.
He was very wholesome, calm, clear composed and his use of references to his experience were wonderful.
The lectures are well explained and he made it easy for understanding the microbiology concept
The content of the lecture/presentation is excellent. Has somebody else prepared the material?
Give a big picture of how insulin works. It is easy to go deep after watch Dr.wilson's lecture.
Hi Lecturio Team, Yes, I like it a lot neurophysiology by doctor Thad Wilson. Great presentation and explanation. In my view, the neurophysiology is one of the vital key of the medicine by knowing it and combining knowledge and skills with anatomy, pathophysiology and surgery you could figure out pathology in terms of when you facing patients with traumatic injury . In contrast when you seeing infected patient with contagious viruses, bacteria and fungi and so on, of course you need to immediately think about combining knowledge and skills of microbiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology and biochemistry. Yes, all courses are given so well presented. Yes . I certainly enjoyed it Lecturio as it has all components of courses which are important for every doctor who wants to excel their skills. Many thanks indeed for the course organizers, Showing on cadaver will be even better to get precise knowledge and skills.
I choose this rate because Dr Vincent deserve it. I really really like it. Definitely I will recommend to other students.
I like it very much because it explains in detail . I will recommend it to my fellow medical friends . Thank you Lecturio
Your physiology standards are up to the mark of a cardiolgy student learning cardiac physiology
The lecture were so concise and upto the point. The questions following each video were very helpful in remembering the key facts.
no sound on the video. no sound on the video.
a m m m m a z i n g
Dr. Thad Wilsson s lectures are brilliant He explains and demonstrates all on the diagram geographically and very memorable. I much appreciated , many thanks.
This lecture provided me with so much clarity. Thank you
Thank you Prof. Wilson. you made the subject to be very easy to understand.
simplest and clear and touch the point figure help in understand
in depth knowledge on DNA splicing, ecor 1 and so the base pairs want to stick together and then ligase comes along to stick together the backbones, the phosphate-sugar backbones. Here you can see how the two pieces come together and now we have a recombinant DNA molecule. Again, we are generally looking at a circular chromosome and a foreign piece of DNA being inserted into that circular chromosome and so we'll see two ends of sticky ends and insertion of that sequence.
This lecture gave me a brief knowledge on how rDNA is made.
Easy to understand I like that subject Clear explanations relevant for my dream job
Great course A very important indeed I wandered how to improve the walls of a vessel and important spots like an aorta first example and IVC Carotid arteries which does really important arterial blood supply to the brain vertebral arteries which are play really important role I mean a lot of things we can think off . How to avoid for instance brain haemorrhages or aortic dissection and how to manage hypertension IC or IOP and BP . CVP . Etc
Hello Dr Elliott, Yes this course is very complex and very interesting !!!! Especially pathogenesis part I think very important!!! As all treatment depends on it! Yes ,I do like this COVID 19 course ! I have taken so long to read those sessions as trying to compare from other sources if it had differences. That why is more interesting to study and memorable! I always love to study with differentials! Sorry about that that. As it is a new virus + with various subtypes , I am taking my time to study rather just reading ! I study to gain knowledge and skills not for a certificate Therefore I may take longer time And study all the details . This course is amazing I still think COVID-19 needs to be studied a very profoundly in order to have more effective and efficient treatment for the patients who experience this dangerous COVID-19 disease Especially I think post- COVID recovery’s very important as well. Many thanks for your great talk . Excellent explanation , and content is very informative . Dr .Gulbanu Akimgalievna
It is fine, like it very much. Very informative and useful
a good update for a recent pandemic that has negatively affected so many communities
Definitely recommend to everyone, informative and concise, looking forward to more lectures by Dr Sean
I liked the lecture. It was clear and concise. I liked it better if the lecturer used more visuals of techniques.
Very informative and detailed. It allows you to understand the concepts on a fundamental level.
The information was specific and to the point. The power point went with the information presented. It was easy to follow and understand.
Nice summary comparing and contrasting other differential diagnoses and walk-through of a typical case of COVID.
waste of time for usmle prep highly dont recommend. thats it
Dr. Wilson simplify the most important materials we need to know for this subject. The way he explained that make more sense to me. Simple and easy that literally save my time to read the text book.
Because professor solve my unclear questions. Love the way he explain lecture in the simple way
On point, efficient and easy to comprehend. Fantastic presentation by the professor. My experience comes from an african medical school with professors who spend 2 hours explaining major concepts that I end up spending extra time trying to understand. For example, the action potential video explained the concept for me in less than 10 minutes in comparison to the 1 hour irl lecture that led me nowhere.
It is helpful and updated And with presences of quiz it condence information.
fantastic teacher in addition to the fact that the explanation is dynamic and very easy to understand
Very detailed and well laid out. I can easily understand.
Clear, structured information. Up to date and well done! I would recommend this lecture.
We need more question Bank.and it will be good if we include more topics.
This review, expose the useful tools Anion GAP and Osmolar GAP, it is easy and complete.
I liked this lecture and I also like this teacher. I just sometimes find the explanations a little be confusing.
A student could do this lecture and it would be easier to understand. we expect better lectures from professors.
The quiz is excellent. I learned a lot from it.
Coming from someone that has never taken microbiology before, I feel as if it's explained simply without All the fluff, especially for a “Ph.D.,” which, from my experience, makes things more complicated than they need to be when giving lectures and quizzes. Ex. When I take the quiz at the end of each lecture I understand what the question is asking, and I'm able to respond Accordingly. This is what's missing in the science classes that I taken at the Schools I've attended.
It reminded me of most important concepts of the microbiology.
Very very detail and important concept I am very happy to choose lecturio as it assist me in my medical carrier.
I believe this course is an excellent review of genetic basics, techniques and clinical correlates
I loved how thoroughly the pathogenicity of each microorganism was covered. It was also great that the Professors explained, in detail, exactly how the microorganisms infected their target cells.
very rushed only covers insulin glucagon and thyroid hormones there are many other hormones...
Very good lecture! Interesting clinical correlation (celiac disease). Thank you!
I think I choose this because is very understanding the classes and the Dr is very practical
I'm really enjoying Dr. Cornwall lectures, I love the way she explains things!
I like how the explanation goes, including the updates. Maybe if there is time, the staff can insert the updates in the lecture material. Lecturio is awesome. The repetition in the quiz is good for recall. My laziness to keep redoing the questions is being challenged and I have to do it because it is for my own good.
Clearly presented talks and material. Very useful for undergraduate students.
I'm a Respiratory Therapy student, so refreshing the physiology from such an amazingly organized and neatly presented source is a real pleasure. The presentations are detailed and contain everything I need to be on the right track with my comprehensive review. Well done and thank you!
neuro physiology if u mean diabetic coma,it is good I have gone thr the lecture
I love the explanations. To be honest, I am already used to great lectures by Lecturio. I expect no less.
he summarize perfectly with important area, i have only 2 month for exam , i can manage my time perfectly
Interesting. I have tries to learn this about 2-3 times but never quiet stuck in my mind. Too easy to forget why an enzyme does this or that, however Dr.Kevins way of sharing the WHY this is significant really helped conndct the dots.
The way he explains was easily to understand and memorize. Thank you..
Great lecture, easy to follow and understand! I cannot rate every video as rating is complicated, but I really like his way of teaching

Beautifully described. Clear and concise presentation. Your all lectures are brilliant
So good this is life changing .Our lectures are so bad lately and this is helping immensely . Thank you so much !
I thought the introductory lectures were to indroductory and to much of a waste of time. I felt they introductory lecture were a insult to a medical students education level. I almost turned them off and went on to another section but, much later the same professor started to increase the level of knowledge in each video. This is the reason I am giving four stars. Please revise the introductory lectures in microbiology. A USMLE student does not have time to waste. I'm not done with the lectures on microbiology so I'd also like to comment later and here I feel I have been very generous with my review.
I have just begun the Respiratory Physiology video lectures and the following is the evidence. These video's are right up there with the famous John B. West video's on Respiratory Physiology. John B. can't come close to these Lecturio lectures that honestly satisfy the student. Dr. Wilson, to some, literally takes their breath away with these video lectures on respiratory physiology.
Like the step-by-step discussion. Make it easier for me.
Explanation isn't clear, have to search on google to understand clearly
Covered a vast portion of the basics that are the most important part of the foundation. The structure of the course is phenomenal and the way it is carried out is engaging and made extremely interesting. Concepts are crystal clear after going through the whole course. Thank you so much, psyched to have found this! I only wish this material was downloadable for future reference. Hoping it could be. Thanks again! This has cleared the slightest doubts Ive ever had, hoping to have many more courses conducted by Georgina Cornwall.
not very engaging with the viewer, and it could be even more dynamic
very good diagrams, would have liked to see an even deeper dive into ciliary muscle in relation on zonule fibers and how they are inverse to each other,
He is a great speaker. Sus clases son muy buenas, muy dinámicas
Muy buenas clases, me sorprendió lo dinámicas que son, este profesor es genial, es súper claro a la hora de explicar y hace muy ameno el aprendizaje, 10/10. Like it very much, he is a great speaker.
This topic is OVERLY simplified. It needs more in-depth explaination, which she claimed to offer later. But this brief section creates even more confusion... Maybe it is better to do a PROPER introduction, or just cut this one out... Also, she herself seems to be unsure and confused. I am not sure what her profession is, but DNA doesn't seem to be a topic, which she should lecture on... In the middle of the video she just blanked, and kind of skipped on some points... (That's not the first time or first lecture that she does that...) P.S. The powerpoint is also not accurate... The coding strand around 0:52 is indicated as template strand... This lecture is quite disappointing, and frankly, a very low quality compare to other Lecturio's lectures.
Thanks Prof. Thad you're such a gifted teacher. I know I am gonna make it this time!
Very good presention and as usual for Thad with very good and clear illustrations. As mentioned previously, more emphasis on the importance of surfactant would be useful and on how it is essential to keep the airways functional. The section on hypobaric and hyperbaric pressure effects such as during mountaineering and diving is informative and should be of interest to anyone.
like it, though I didn't have a pre idea of neurophysiology but i found it realy easy to understand. I like the way of delivering the important messages by the professor; i.e changing his tone of voice, making it louder or... onething that I felt, was missing was Using a pointer, which I didn't know why he was not using.
More organization is needed to explain this lecture because is an important part of the DNA synthesis.
Love lecturing videos! I find them very helpful as they cover the information of each topic in basic terms. I love that you can speed them up, pause them, and rewatch them for your convenience. The post video quizzes also help me stay engaged with the content I’m learning. I have noticed my grades improving after watching lecturing videos before my exams.
explaining slow and efficiently with great questions in the end
It's well presented and relatively easy to understand. It has helped me understand various concepts
I love her course. She explains in a very understandable way.
More emphasis on how the usmle style questioning will be asked
The narration is a bit fast animation and concept understanding is nice
It is amazing how Professor Wilson explain everything. I have learned a lot.
Content is spot on. And quizzes at the end of each videos are very helpful. Hope Georgina used a cursor or infra red light to point exactly what she was talking similar to other lecturers from other videos. An animated video clip of how each or some of the topics would be very useful.
Hello, I love supporting women in science and education, etc. I also will share my honest opinion to improve the educational site. This lecturer, while alright, is not the best you could get for Lecturio students. Her constant glancing over her notes is distracting and she is not very well articulated. Even though she is Ph.D., she has not digested her lecturing materials to the master's level. It is very unfortunate that she lectures on one of the most important subjects within your platform. Why you chose her? For the sake of diversity and involvement? I am sure there are much better and knowledgeable lady lecturers. Did not you see the disengagement and flaw after a couple of her lectures? Was she so cheap?
I like it very much but the only issue is that the lectures are not complete about all the bacterial species of myobacteria for example, and I'd love to study all of them with lecturio cause it's simple and easy to understand so that I don't have to study the unavailable topics on other websites
I thought this lecture was relatively easy to follow. The video brings forward the relevant pathways to highlight them and Dr Wilson explains their function and why they are causing the response they do. I can understand that if you watch this one out of series it might be a little hard to follow but like most of the lecturio videos, you should watch the entire series once through and then review specific videos at your leisure.
Very well explained and fascinating lecture! Thank you very much!
Concept clearly explained. The professor is very thorough in the description of acid base balance.
I am no longer scared of metabolic pathways. thank you so much.
To be straight to the point: - Very clear - Dr Wilson explanation was very easy to understand and professional
I liked to much because maintain the point of what are she explaining the theme with clarity and didactic form about the macromolecules of life the first principle to begin the content of the nature of the Body , systems organs ,tissues and cells.
I got to say, i love Racaniello's videos on microbiology so far. But this series of the enteric bacteria is confusing and disorganised. Some of the slides provided are different from the ones used by him. Sometimes the script adds some erroneous information, making the already confusing explanation even worse.
I like all your lectures, you give a great explanation of the material, thank you, Professor!
Thank you!!! All your lectures are very interesting and with nice explanations!
Incredible Easy to follow the class The professor had my attention all the class
Biochemistry by Georgina Cornwall is not good at all, she reads all the time and she doesn't even know what to talk about.
She didn't talk about the template strand. the prof fumbled with the coding strand and im actually confused if the coding strand, or the tremplate strand matches the sequence of the mRNA. She definitely seems disorganized. It didn't flow at all.
I liked these explanations, but if you are a college student this may not be for you
The concepts are very clear and have been presented in a simplified and comprehensible manner.
Very condensed, but a well-taught lecture. I love the teacher´s style.
I finally understood this concept! I've reviewed it many times but only until now did i understand
Nice explanation, very useful, easy to follow. very useful reminder of basics.
SHE IS NOT CONFIDENT IN TEACHING AND RUINS THE MOOD OF LEARNING
Thank you for your interesting, useful and simple way do explain difficult things!
Thank you, dear professor for amazingly informative and interesting lectures
The overall experience is good but i think there is room for development
Excellent videos! Very concise and to the point. Very high yield everything discussed. Dr. Wilson has an ability to explain complex concepts in an easy manner. Highly recommend you to see this videos of GI Physiology!
i like but the fomr like the professor express can distract a little
I like this cause of a simply explaining things, and I would like to recommend it for nurses and also doctors.
such a hard concept explained so easy and well. such an amazing work sir
I use Emery’s Elements of Medical Genetics 15th edition as primary study material, which i recommend for anyone to use. I decided to take this course as a supplement and ended up confused and annoyed. Simple learning objectives of this course lectures are harder to understand due to poor explanation and as far as i can tell the professor seems stressed, disoriented and confused herself. Lectures need a rework. Despite that, the articles are pretty good and helpful, PowerPoint slides are useful to an extend.
All lectures by Dr. Wilson are awesome. Explanations and pronunciation are perfect, especially to people like me that speak a diferent language. Every lecture is very easy to understand. I am very happy with Lecturio!! Thank you!!
BASIC AND COCISE OUTLINE OF WHAT THE GI SYSTEM DOES
Great teacher. Well explained. Learning outcomes well defined and all comprehended.
The introduction provided me with the basic concepts of genetics
I could not understand it good at that in my university college friends
It is well explained and the concepts are highlighted. I am really grateful for this platform.
Enjoyed the format for this and other Lecturio classes. Graphics are concise. Instructor is very good at explaining concepts
one of the best teacher ..yo mam ............really enjoyed it
The content but also the Professor Vincent Racaniello, he is convincing , spacing and detailing what is needed to be captured.
i liked the details and visualization. should have been there more mobility in the slides tho.
The lectures on Enzyme and Enzymes Kinetics were thorough. There were detailed information on some important concepts.
Really well explained. it was simple and concise but informative.
Superb content delivery. Easy to follow and understand. Great job Thad
Professor Racaniello masters the topic very well. He knows what he is talking about. I like his confidence. He is one of the most fluent professors I ever have
Need to explain better as it is very complicated and confuses us even more than we were before
Nice course very complete in every sense, I like it, keep like that.
An outstanding teacher. Clear, succinct, well organized! What a teacher should be.
Excellent professor. I think this lecture in particular (fungi) is quick and just the essential facts.
Love the lectures and reviews and quizzes and the fact that you can repeat for more clarification.
Amazing lecture! So easy to understand and so enjoyable to watch; congratulations!
Amazing teacher, straight to the point, clear way of explaining.
Awesome overview! Thank you! Particularly liked the gluten example. Also graphics were good - will stick in my brain longer.
Lesson was so fast and not understandable .Lecturer should have gone from easy points to harder points. She could not make it easier this topic for me .She did not use her hand at all during the lesson. This is so lazy way for giving a lesson and unproffesional.
The objective was to mention which diseases are AR and it was covered correctly
Hello. I just want to share my thought on this lecture series. These lecture series are so excellent that as a student we have the capacity to control the phase of the video, and secondly doctor Thad Wilson explain this concepts so clearly that I find it very useful along side my course in MBBS. I like the Thad Wilson teaches. He is a great teacher. The content of the slides a also excellent because students can easily follow the short best outline. Thank you doctor Thad Wilson, and the lecturio staffs for the this help.
The concepts are explained very well. ???? even better than the way my professors explain. Thank you very much!
I dont know if its the diagram or what the doctor is saying but i just cant understand the MAP kinase and the GEF and everything else afterwards
better way of making it very interesting, short lectures. easily understable
Concepts are well explained .. I’ve learned more on lecturio than my class lectures
In general, I find the lectures provided in Lecture to be of exceptional quality. This one is not only below that standard, but, for me, it fails entirely as an instructive tool especially in regard to the discussion around the first figure. Basic principles to convey information are missing, and when combined together make for a frustrating experience where little to no information is really conveyed. 1. The labels are indicated only as the lecturer speaks. The slide never shows the labels at one time only. (I understand the lecturer wishes to flag the information he is talking about. This could just as easily been done with a figure that shows all of the labels but uses color or boldness to draw our attention to the item under discussion. Better yet, in lieu of highlighting the label, highlighting the actual anatomical item is even more effective). 2. The labels are not adjacent to each other so that the reader looses a visual relation. This is a circular structure with consistent layering, yet the labels jump from side to side for no reason. This is not only distracting but prevents us viewers from easily following the structure along with the discussion. 3. There is no rhyme or reason to the coloring. Connective tissue and muscle are both pink and yellow. This makes it impossible for the viewer to quickly appreciate the structures. Frankly, from this lecture, I have no clue what is where in terms of the layer of the esophagus and the location of each plexus. I ask each of you at Lecturio who are reading this review to see if you are able to grasp this information after reviewing this lecture. In addition to fixing this lecture, it is my hope to hear from Lecturio as to whether the company has in place an editorial team to ensure that basic principals to successfully convey information, as has been done in this lecture, are never missed. After all, we students are paying for a professional service to help educate us, not waste our time. Thank you for your consideration.
Good explaination, Love it! Easy to Understand, Keep it up!
Simple and easy going explaination! easy for me to understand. Keep it Up!
Explica las cosas super simples y puntuales, se memoriza rapido de esa manera
she reads from her notes too much, strikes me as someone who does not have a firm grasp on what she is teaching.
Thad Wilson was amazing and explained things in such an easy way!! Love his enthusiasm and his subtle humour ????
Very clear and succinct. May have gone a bit too fast, but that's always manageable
The lectures are very good, but the speaker is a little confusing sometimes despite trying to repeat himself and use sometimes a language that sounds too simplistic
This lecture was great! I could understand what the professor was explaining and I understood it pretty well.
I recommend include the cc out of slides screen, the letters do not allow to watch the information
I love the way he explained enzyme.... A brief and easy to understand lecture
I didnt understand it the first time I watched it, but after studying the textbook and watching it again, everything made so much sense. Having a better understanding in physics and ?pressure in the respiratory system also helps. That was truly a high yield lecture, but it's best if you watch it after doing some reading in your textbooks.
Very interesting and engaging. The energy from Dr. Racaniello is absolutely contagious, thank you very much!
adioasd oiaj doias ds dioas jdoias jdoas djoi asdjoia sd o
Basic topics which i had difficulties in understanding has been well explained and now I have fixed the knowledge :) Suggestion: it's hard to cover the extremely fast growing biotechnology topic but I guess "omics" would be good to add
Thank you Dr. Kevin Ahern. You made me fall in love with biochemistry.
I haven't reviewed the lecture but personally from watching some of the previous vids I feel that doc Vincent is not giving a USMLE lecture. while what he does is very good, lecturio is very specific for USMLE, the lecturer has to hit the most high yield points in the most concise and easy to understand way. the benchmark would be Hassan sattar in pathoma, very on the point summarizing massive topics to a single slide.
I like the way you explained how this signaling process work
It is really concise. He did a good job pointed out the importance of Aquaporin-2 in the body (specially in the kidney) and why we should care.
I always enjoyed Dr Ahern's handling of the Biochemistry subject, especially his eplanations
I really liked it and enjoyed Dr Cornwall'ss explanation. The only issue was that the video slowed at some point.
Despite the mishaps, I thought the information was understandable. Especially the ending when she connected Trp and Lac operons with repressible and inducible.
I like how much simple he makes the tough materials in pharmacology course
Most of it was good and understandable but towards the end, it became quite confusing to follow along.
Every slide has been clearly explained in detailed form. Thanks sir.
I saw many times the video, take notes but I don't understand at all this video; think is some confusing :(
Hi I appretiate her lectures about biochemistry, l hope the following lectures would offer me more interesting information.
This lecture is very informative yet concise. Everything that you need to know is here. Thank you
Excellent, clear, interesting and informative presentation which facilitates comprehension and memory of essential material.
lecturer is breathing heavily that is kind of distracting. I don't know if it is because she is wearing the mic very close. lessons were nice tho.
I am in my first semester of Bachelor of Science in Biomedicine in Switzerland and the courses are helping me a lot. I can watch your videos after a whole day of studying and I am always having fun! I get a great overview and know what the most important concepts are. I also have no issues remembering what I learn here. Thanks a lot! I learn new things while answering the quiz questions as well, they are smartly structured and help a lot as well.
Love your lectures, Professor. It is helping me a lot reviewing Biology as It's been years since my basic science years.
Great easy to digest lectures that provide highly relevant understanding of each topic. Totally worth it!
this is a good lecture i really understand a lot of thing i haven't know before tysm
Although the whole course (and actually the whole of Lecturio) is absolutely wonderful, I enjoyed this lecture with Dr. Cornwall so thoroughly, that it felt like time was passing by rapidly! Before I knew it, the lecture was over and I had learned so much! Dr. Cornwall has a way of explaining things that makes you understand is the matter longterm and makes you curious to look deeper into it. Thank you very much for everything! Eileen Dara Greetings from Belgium
simply explained so well understood, very well done. lots of info but concise
Very good introduction courses for beginners and much knowledge for course reviewers!
I select leturio because its teaching method is very awesome knowledge base Usmle type based
i understand it though, you just need to concentrate on what the prof is saying and correlate well with the diagram then youll understand
Me gusta mucho el contenido que he recibido por parte de este curso, porque la información me parece clara y precisa. Además me agradan los ejemplos que se usan para el tema.
I like it because it's easy to use and qualified one
Great summaries. The professor was able to learn and concisely explain all topics at hand.
I like it becauser it was very helpful & simple .. I like the translate sevice it so helpful as well. Thanks a lot lecturio
Well understand his lecture, and He is talking slowly and patiently.
Los vídeos resumen muy bien la información lo cual hace que la información sea muy fácil de entender y como los vídeos van en serie lo hace mucho mejor.
Great concise videos covering salient points in biotech. Most of material is well presented though some concepts I've had to supplement with other sources to fully understand. Overall, great useful series. Thank-you Dr. Cornwall!
Very very easy and limpid discussion for not only medical students but also for all biological faculty students. Thank you dear sir, Thad Wilson, PhD
It is a good introduction for the following classes. It's not confusing, but more information could be added
Clear and concise. well-explained, clear diagrams, builds on my existing knowledge
Liked it too much as it's so easy to understand ????...but cannot afford premium ????
Excellent coverage of topics with enough detail and relevance to enhance knowledge without sacrificing being practical and easy to absorb.
Dr. Cornwall is awesome! Her lecture are clear and concise. She makes the material so much more digestible.
Dr. Cornwall is fantastic! The biotechnology series helped me SO MUCH going into lecture.
She keeps it short and simple. Great work in this video. It's great prep before going into a lecture!
It was a great lecture, high-yield indeed. But i hope there will be more detailed downloadable notes provided next time not just in PPT form so it will be easier to review.
I had a course in neurophysiology a few years ago. This course in neurophysiology is an excellent reminder, and it is not as deep as the course I had (good thing).
This course is presented in a very simple format that help you to understand the concepts. They utilize short videos that make it easier to digest the information. Also, they have a short quiz after the majority of the videos to help you see if you are getting the information. Very useful. This course is helping me a lot reviewing the information for my GI tract exam. Thanks!
wonderful explanation about bone structure and the need of light bone to make it easy to move
the course lectures were wealthy in information although they are short which made me interested in completing the course
the tone of voice and eye contact good just like in a classroom
Excellent clear presentation and distillation of essential principles and details in neurophysiology of multiple highly complex systems.
great explanations making it very easy to understand...like it
The course was concise and easy to understand with a wide range of illustrations and examples. This made learning extremely fun and easy
Interesting and informative! Expounded well on complex concepts and gave a riveting lecture.
I like a lot the examples of each type of muscle fiber
Both lecturers are very clear and Dr Elliot goes slowly so I get more of the quizzes correct.
TOO SIMPLIFIED AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE LECTURER WASN'T WELL-PREPARED FOR THE LECTURE KEEP SAYING NONSENSICAL WORDS. I AM REALLY FURIOUS AND FRUSTRATED LISTENING TO HER LECTURE.
Me agrada como explica las cosas la Dra, creo que lo hace que sea entendible de forma sencilla para cualquiera
He is the best teacher I've ever had, thank you Thad Wilson for all. Definitely I recommend this course.
Me gustan las imágenes que usan para explicar. Me gustaría que hubiera arrancado con compartimientos líquidos del cuerpo y luego el resto.
Pretty well explained. Its short and very useful when i have to study for my college tests. Totally recommended!
The lecturer speaks clearly and is engaging. The material is presented quite well - in a logical manner. I feel the material could go in a bit more depth (but perhaps later lectures will). I would probably give this series 5 stars, however, I'm currently studying for the USMLE, and I feel half or more of the review questions are extremely low-yield. For example, there are questions about which section of a plant does a specific fungus infect. That's okay to test understanding of the lecture material presented, but I don't want to have that type of question included in my "Spaced Repetition" for memorization. It's a real waste of my limited time and brain space. Please ither remove the low-yield questions, or perhaps a better (and faster) option would be to add an option to turn off the "dumb" questions.
La Dra explica muy bien y de manera sencilla, algo que me gustó mucho son las analogías que utiliza para dejar claras las cosas, creo que eso lo facilita
Love the course, thank you very much teacher, it really helped me.
I belive she is very clear and resume complicated topics nicely.
Excellent lecture all concepts very succint and co-ordination activity of contractions are appreciated very much and the magnitude of gi secretions enlighted
Thank you doctor Wilson, you made understanding this topic very simple. As a fact, I understood better from this lecture than the teacher who gives physiology in my college.
Excellent clear concepts wisdom distilled.well explained to the point.
This course has all I need, so a 4 star. However, I didn't get something special so not 5 star.
This course in general is very well explained, but this conference has really been very clear for my understanding of this subject. Thanks Dr. Wilson!
EXCELENT never quite understood these concepts until I saw this amazing video! -Sofia from Mexico
I suppose it depends on your learning style. That is, most of the medical students I've spoken to, appreciate concise and coherent lectures - Unfortunately, in my personal opinion, this micro-lecture lacked the fundamental high concentration of information that most of us are looking for - to take notes, and practice the spaced repetition model. Instead, her speaking pace, and vocal expression are slightly too fast and the way in which she attempts to outline a basic idea isn't linear in nature which leads the viewer wanting to know more, while simultaneously trying to ignore the off-topic rants. Note: Clearly, she's qualified to teach - however, valid of a point that may be, doesn't mean she has the practical communication skills to do so. Therefore, this is not a question of intelligence, rather - communication and linguistic expression. There will certainly people who prefer this method, I however, can not recommend.
I had many doubts but with the lection, I improved much better
When I attended this class at my university it was a real headache. Thanks to this lecture I was able to clearly understand these concepts about insulin.
Great thanks to Professor Wilson. The notions in renal physiology were explained way better than anyone else?
I like professor Thad's lectures. He explains a little bit slow but is great because for non-english native speakers is good for understand the main concept of the lecture
The lectures seem to cover all the necessary contents, but it’s often difficult to understand the topic until I go over the video again for several times.
Why does this lecture start with a reference to something else if it is an Introduction?
This lecture clearly points out the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells in protein synthesis. It would be helpful for those who wish to briefly know how proteins are formed in each type of cell.
It is a good explanation for a complex topic, with only the most important
I spent weeks reading and trying to understand from the books but these lectures made it so easy to understand, I also love the fact that it keeps on asking questions so you can remember them. Thank you so much for these lectures, I love them.
complicated topic but I think I got it, though the Tyrosine kinase itself is a bit complex
I like the format - the lectures are "short and sweet". The lecturer is reasonable easy to listen to. Perhaps it is just because this is a foundation course, but it does feel this material may not be in-depth enough for USMLE step 1. (Or perhaps because it's re-used for non-USMLE students?). The questions are just "okay". There are a few errors, and a couple questions could be worded better. It also seems that some of these questions are testing material that seems only marginally important, and may not be very "high-yield". I wish there was an option to flag review questions to not be included in the "spaced repetition". The "spaced repetition" idea should be for memorizing the most important details, and I don't really want to be memorizing questions that I think are of little importance, incorrect, or poorly worded. (It'd also be a good way your you at Lecturio to decide which questions should be revised - if many people flag it as "don't review again", the question probably needs revision.)
not clear voice . . . . . . . . . . comparatively worse than other videos, others are good.
- Pésima traducción al español. - No hay rigurosidad en el tema. - No ofrece buena explicaciones
Clear and precise explanation! Goes into the essence of this condition and correlates very well the clinical presentation
I really like deeper videos about renal physiology with a Little bit more information
As I stated in prior lessons, Dr. Cornwall is such of an amazing instructor!!! She makes easy to understand heavy contents
I would like to inform you that from 3:54 onwards there is neither the transcription nor the translation in other languages. I hope you will solve it as soon as possible because some concepts I cannot translate from English into Italian. Thank you in advance
the instructor is very clear and is easy to follow
Dr. Cornwall did a very great job with this.. The big picture simplified everything and made studying into little details easy.
very didactic I really enjoy Dr. Cornwall lectures, definitely Lecturio was the best addition to my preparation
el contenido esta muy bueno, solo que la traducción tiene falencias y dificulta entender los conceptos adecuadamente.
Everything is confusing. The diagrams and what she was saying didnt allign. ALso she never gave the answer to the number of chromosomes in each stage of meiosis and mitosis
I really like the video, makes medical biochemistry easier to understand
I liked the analogy of the gnomes in order to remember what are the causes of acid base disorders.
I've taken classes from Dr. Racaniello previously on the coursera.org platform. He is a very engaging instructor and he is no different in this Lecturi series, at least for the free part. As a citizen scientist, the full cost is too much so for this series I can only comment on the bacteria sections that are free. The quiz questions are very relevant to the material presented and the reference material is equally good.
Excellent, really like the Acid-Base box method and will definitely incorporate that into my exam technique and eventual future practice!
I never understood this completely until now. Thank you Notes are short and straight to the point
I am from the maldives, you have a fan from all the way across the world.
Well explained and easy to understand the concept. I'm on the right track and enjoying the course.
So nice and well explained with great doctors ???? they make the impossible possible
the explanation is complicated it could be simplified more better
Prof. Well done sir, you've done a great job, I'll keep watching your videos
It was fun learning the content. Frankness was encouraging. Important points have been outlined
I think it could have been better. I think that was too basic
Its apt for 2nd yrs....simple and all main points are given.
Very well taught, good refresher. The high yield points are in there too.
Very well explained. Would have appreciated had the lecture been a bit more comprehensive on certain topics, like in DNA replication and also a dynamic step by step diagram of the process would have been better to understand.
I like it but because of COVID the exam was online and the paper was beyond difficult. Renal was part of the scope but very few renal questions so much so That, I can’t even remember doing any.
The lectures are great... But I just feel like they are too expansive... Not very suitable for a dedicated study period
Great presentation- using anatomical and engineering views of the system helped to understand the structure and its function
Both Dr. Sean Elliot and Vincent Racaniello are awesome. Both of them provide key information of microbiology. The presentations are clear and easy to remember
I think it summarizes the most important concepts one should one about renal physiology, giving good examples and also using graphics that help in understanding them better.
Loved it . High yield and to the point the lecturer was very clear and the quiz at the end of the lectures were very helpful
El programa ya se me acaba en dos meses, estaría muy interesada de volver a comprar si tuviesen en español y tambien como estudiante me ayudaría mucho un descuento
I really liked all the lectures They are to the point
i chose this rating because the lecture is up to the minute, well researched. and the presentation is straight to the point.
Thanks for this easy explanation even people who never studied in Medical schools will still understand everything you explain
Thank you, Professor Thad, for such a fantastic lecture, I am watching your lectures and I am loving cardiology
This Professor is 100 million times better than the whole professors in my University. Thank you for such an easy and well-explained lecture.
J'ai adoré les cours ,ils m'ont économisé beaucoup de temps de révision ?
The classes are short covering usually one topic at a time. This allows more to learn the material easily.
It would be great if it is more explanatory. So that it will be more helpful for us.
Everything so well expleined! I love the emphasis that the teacher gives to the important points.
Before Lecturio I struggled with comprehending the mechanism of proteases and enzyme kinetics. Dr. Ahern brilliantly & easily explained these concepts in less than 5 minutes. I am currently in a graduate program for Medical Sciences, we have cumulative exams every quarter & I was just memorizing the info but now I finally understand. I recommend Lecturio to pre-meds, MCAT, and Med students.
I liked the naurophysiology course very much. Cant wait to see the results of my test
Excellent lectures. Racaniello is very concise, knowledgeable and interesting. Visuals in lectures good too. Pace is at optimum speed and duration of each lecture in a nice digestible package. Content is of adequate depth - not too simplistic and not too complicated. Sequencing seems to be a little off though, with questions appearing before video. First virus video seems to talk about Baltimore classification as if already covered, so I’m not sure if sequencing of videos is correct either.
He is so natural , after topic explanation he then takes example of daily life, easy to understand
the explanations provided for each disorder weren't very thorough nor well explained
A very good explanation of the topic and we can understand it so well and can learn from the questions that they ask at the end of the topic
I liked the explanation given by the sir and he explains line to line aptly that we can understand it easily and the questions at the end gives a review about the topic that u watched
During this quarantine it is really hard to understand my classes from home and basically we are studying by ourselves. With Lecturio I can watch the exact videos that I need, take notes and ask questions if needed. Thank you guys for this amazing platform that is so helpful during this hard time.
Dr. Ahern is a fantastic lecturer. All the course is simply awsome.
It is very concise but it provides enough information. I am very satisfied with Lecturio because this course and Biochemistry are exactly what i was looking for.
The video episodes are way too short, need to go back and start over every 3-4 minutes. I think there should be a option to view the topic in one full video. Otherwise the subjects are well covered in an understandable manner. Many thanks
It gave me all the information I needed. Plus the videos were updated to COVID-19. I definitely recommend this to all health care workers
It's crisp and is explained beautifully. The topics are explained in such a manner that you remember the concepts by heart.
Complete lessons and amazing teacher, I’m learning a lot from this course
The way of teaching of Georgina is really impresive, i understanded everything. The best classes ever.
Very comprehensive lecture . It' s clear and simple. Thank you for your work .
The ease of listening and staying engaged is incredible...there's a lot of information, but before you know it, you've completed the lectures. The real-world approach makes it easy to focus, I appreciate it. Thanks
I liked that the subject was covered in depth and was easy to understand. Good for clinicians and med students.
Interesting and informative across the spectrum. This course covers everything of interest.
Great courses ,knowledgeable and passionate professors.Perfect for those who will forever have a thirst for knowledge. I wish there were more hours in the day
Dr. Wilson your lectures are so clear and straight forward that it gave me a whole new level of understanding and appreciation for physiology. Just Perfect, re watchable, Enjoyable and concise . Thanks this will definitely be helping so much future doctors, I'll easily recommend this to my classmates obsessively.
Great Great great great great great great great great great
O really like it , because the lectures are very clear. And I understand everyrhing.
It is a good way to learn about Acid-base balance
difficult subjects are explained by simple words by Georgina. Thanks so much!
Covered all high yield points , very nice illustration which helps in remembering things better
I found these lectures very interesting and very useful! Congratulations to the ability of communication of the teacher.
Ggghh hhjj hjkkllj jjkpppo hjk hjkk hukkk huiook hhjkk hhjjj jkkkkk uikkkkkk hkkkj
I recommend everyone to Follow the 100 Day Study Plan given in Lecturio App. Its Amazing.
Summarised but enough to have good knowledge about Fungi, its recommended
Excellent and well presented lectures ,easy to understand and refresh memory!
you are a great teacher. thank you for the way you describe each step making it very simple
hi first of all she is talking very will as good speaker and the explanation in different lecture was so systematic and will prepared and hit the main points that I'm really interested to her course of biology.
It’s valuable and well presented lectures ! I recommend it for my colleagues
es un excelente vídeo, y esta muy bien explicado; justo el tema de mi próxima evaluación
I am from Peru, and Dr. Wilson's class seemed very good to me, very concise and the key points incredible, very satisfied with the presentation.
Great lecture! Very simplified and friendly explained. Thanks so much !
This is completely inadequate for the questions posed. The first question gives "you observed red gnomes outside the box on the left for both pH and HCO3" and asks for the condition. Verbatim from the lecture ‘’Respiratory alkalosis’’. Why? Cos there are two gnomes on one side." Yet the answer is metabolic acidosis.
It was vvvv nice thanks Nicely explained and easy to recall
It is also very very very good. I like it so much. I also would like to see more vedio from this app Please give another free primium
It was very comprehensive and interesting. I want to become a virologist too.
I always had problems understanding this topic and I always got confused, especially with the last big summarizing diagram. However, this whole lecture helped me to get through it, therefore I can not be thankful enough.
Each RNA should be shown in the picture like above
Really liking the microbio bacteria videos. Feel like the presentation of the info is well done and really easy to grasp in such a short amount of time.
I chose this rating because everythingbis told and no details are left behind and also that it is told so well.
This video is precise and concise, thanks a lot, I found this series to be incredibly helpful
It is a good course but the content here is not really high yield.Do we need to spend so much time on it?
Very clear and useful for me to finally get a grip on this topic.
Microbiology is explained very clearly in a interesting manner its no doubt an interactive method of teaching!!!
Dr Wilson presents all the essential details and principles in tandem with his slides in the most effective way such as to prepare the student well for the questions following.
Brings together a balanced and complete picture of the usefulness and pathologies caused microorganisms.
His lectures are very accurate and effective. Moreover, he knows how to be clear and "pédagogue" in the same time. I really like his contents and i think he is a great teacher!
i can't understand why a lot of amazing videos have 1star points
Dr Thad Wilson is a great physiology teacher i never understood renal physiology this much before! thanks Lecturio
Excellent teaching communicating principles and important details at perfect pace.
I like it because I feel like now I am able to study difficult concepts in a relatively short space of time. I'd recommend it to all MBBS students finding it difficult to understand respiratory physiology by reading from a text book.
Dr. Cornwall makes the topics easy to understand and retain. Her approach is not overwhelming but yet not so simple you are bored.
The lecturer tripping up make it a little difficult to follow but it is made clear in the end.
Talking about things that aren't on the slide https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=833581
Good course but we need more practice on the problems
Extremely informative and engaging. Amazing lecturer! Thank you! You make concepts so clear, and provide real-life scenarios for the diseases caused by the microbes. Humourous in some places, which makes the content easy to remember.
Very detailed. Moves through information and a good pace. Sifts out the important information versus stuff we don't need to know for the exam.
the concepts are clear and the time is enough, examples are short.
This is incredibly difficult to follow with the lecturer mis-speaking constantly
the reason chooses this rating regarding pop up AD, I am not ready yet. I need more time to think about what my work schedule to fit my study and payments.
Excellent, clear, didactic presentation of the basics of membrane physiology.
??? ???? ?? ??? ?? ??? ??? ???? ??? ?? ?? ??? ?? ??? ???
I believe the term is entropy is misused in this lecture.
Most of us studying at this point (USMLE Prep) know this stuff well, however; this does provide a good refresher to get the juices flowing in the right direction while studying for the boards.
Misuse of the words fludity and stability as if they were synonyms makes answering the question at the end confusing. Other than that, it's a good lecture.
It could be improved with more bacteria (ex: for Neisseria there's only Meningitidis and not Gonorrheae, that's is treating in the Sexual Transmitted Infections just as a clinical approach)
I like that professor tells very interesting and useful information. Helps to review.
I love the way Lecturio professors explain things, everything is much easier to understand. Physiology course is really great. Thank you!
Really nice lecture, clear and easy to understand, with a lot of examples.
Well-designed and informative I would recommend that the quiz questions can be more effective. For example, some answers are just memorizing names or some details that are only noted orally for few seconds.
Awesome analogy great lecture! Very nice lectures overall I really enjoyed them. even though I have taught this topics and I know them fairly well. I enjoy little gems of information I received through these lectures, and new understanding
I like a lot the classes. They are clear enough to understand complicated concepts.
Flow diagrams are great visuals to understand concepts. The lecture was clear and concise.
need another resource for this topic as these lectures have confused me more
if the professor says she gets it confused when lecturing she should not be teaching it.
The Professor is excellent, every one can understand easily de concepts
Mr. Pickering is a highly professional lecturer. He explains complex definitions quite simply and understandably. It is a great pleasure for me to receive this knowledge from Mr. Pickering
This is one of the few videos in this video series where the video cuts before the lecturer is done talking or before she's done with the material for the section. For example, in this one she only discusses E site and video cuts... what about the other 2 sites on the ribosome?
The video lectures helped me organize the information I already knew and filled the gaps in between. I appreciated how Dr. Wilson was concise and straight to the point with his lectures.
The video lectures helped me organize the information I already knew and filled the gaps in between. I appreciated how Dr. Wilson was concise and straight to the point with his lectures.
Amazing lectures. Now I can understand everything more. I like the author's way of explaning things very much
I chose this because I am a fan of viruses and I want to invent a Medicine for all viruses and I loved it very much because I want to help mankind and learn, and this is a type that we must all talk about.
The instructor reading off the podium is not appreciated. It doesn't entice the viewer to keep watching.
I like a lot both the explanations and illustrations to the topic.
Excellent teacher . Great lectures . He knows how to teach the subject matter
I like how Dr. Cornwall recaps chemistry and relation to energy to cells. Her hand motions help with my learning and understanding. Thank you.
The videos are fine, but it’s not enough to understand the material for the first time; it is just an adjunct to the lecture I guess.
Didn't explain clearly and concisely which each type of RNA was as well as providing its clear function. Additionally, it is best to provide the correct definition thus, followed by an analogy. Starting with an analogy of how the different RNA types can make the lesson hard to follow as well as, causing confusion in the actual definition of the term. This particular video was hard to gather information from.
The reason I chose a 4 star rating was because the lectures were amazing and wonderful but I do feel there is room for improvement. I feel in this section, the slides could have contained more information when possible to download and I personally feel that slides was the downfall in this section from preventing the full 5 star rating. I feel the slides could use an improvement and expand on more details. I also believe that the lecturer could have expanded on some concepts a bit more to provide more understanding by providing more examples and various other techniques. The length of the videos were amazing, the way in which the lecturer spoke was captivating and caught my attention and I most certainly enjoyed the lectures and I did learn alot that I never caught in class before. I do urge that the slides do get an improvement by adding certain figures and more concepts especially for us to download. I think it would help alot.
Well explained and i clearly understand how digestion and absorption be done.
4/5 also add on the replication bubble but as far as the other information well done i understood the concept
I like the practical comparisons used for better understanding and remembering the topic, makes it much easier and more entertaining!
Concise and to the point for basic understandment of the subject.
Great teaching It helped a to clarify some concepts that I difficulty understanding.
before I read the book but didn't get the concept. This lecture gave me the understanding of this high yield topic.
Short and precise videos. They are extensive and short. Would be nice if you had more of this kind on GI physiology though
Profesor Wilson makes hard physiological processes easy to understand and deduct.
Liked the lectures so far Easy to follow Instructor is very good in explaining concepts, clear, to the point, engaging
They make it really easy to understand even the hardest subjects
The lecturer is very thorough and makes the series interesting
Really great videos. Extremely helpful, though on our curriculum we are required to know basic lab diagnosis of the common bacteria and identify their culture in lab practical exams it would have been helpful if that area had a section as well.
Professor Wilson gives very good examples to explain each topic of the course. And he doesn't talk too fast, that is great because I can understand him very well.
The vedios don't cover many important aspects such as cultures , serology etc. Every topic is over summarised and isn't very good for concept building
I really like the way the professor make things simple to understand with real-life example, thank you , I finally understood this disease !
The issues are almost complete and notes are abvious and are basic and pretty fluent lectures
Thank you dear Ms Cornwall l easily grabbed basic elements and mechanism of cell biology with your videos Best wishes
I love it... 100% worth it... Made it simple and easy to understand!
I need more in depths information - maybe I’m not familiar with lectures
It was a great lesson thanks for everyting short and briefly everyting.
Really clear explanation with real life example, thank you so much. I had trouble to learn the cycle of this parasite but thank to this professor I get it now and only after one lecture. Even for the prevalence in the world, it's easy for me to remember it now thanks to this lecture.
Clear explanation, most of the time very detailed and easy to understand
complicated, i studied it much easier in different location than here
sir , the way you talk about microbes ,inspire me to learn more.
I really liked the videos they very clear and easy to understand , they best part is they are short and precise to the point .
It's explained in a very understandable way and slow for non native speackers
Really clear explanation, and really easy to understand! I’m lovin’ it
Good enough to concisely make the key points stands out.
Review Easy to memorize but didn t dive deep Not enough question for recal memory Should have connection with flashcard, visualize
Enjoyable videoes that are so illustrative and well-explained. Thank you very much.
The marcomolecules lectures are very good with excellent explainations of content
I like Lecturio very much because the videos are simple, short, and hit the high notes. I got a A (first and only one to score a A) on my first exam in microbiology where the majority of the students got 60% and under.
The information was so simple and clear. The ideas go smoothly and easy to understand.
I really love how he mainly focuses on the important details needed.its amazing I love you guys.
Great lectures, very clear and understandable! Thank you, Dr Georgiana Cornwall!
Great lecture, Dr Georgina explains clearly what we are required to know
Helped me understand better some concepts as she explained clearly
Great lecture which allowed me to understand the topic much better than I was taught
Explains concept very well with good analogies that further enhances my understanding.
The knowledge is systematic, but I wait for long time to get a answer to my questions. And I still get no feedback.
Dr. Ahern creates a great foundation by breaking down concepts and building on them throughout the lectures.
This lecture really helped me a lot, it’s so well explained and dynamic that makes it easier to understand. Thank you doctor.
Dr Cornwall has the gift for teaching!! She explains things very well, thank you!
Not too many details. Right to the point and easy to understand!
The lecturer touched on all of the most important points with clarity and conciseness.
He is energetic and I like that very much about him.
It would be nice to have an extra chapter o add a lab identification for bacterias. Like techniques to identify them. Oxidase positive o catalase negative like so. Also is very useful in enterobactereceaa microorganisms to add the biochemistry scale o battery examples like TSI LIA MIO Citrate Urea. I’m from Chile and i am in formation to become a laboratory Medical technologist
The module is complete but the questions can get too easy
I really enjoyed the video and it made me learn, also I liked that are short videos
absolutely wasting of time for whom needs to study for step 1
sorry about the bad rating but honestly it is not helpful for step 1 exam and the first aid book especially Dr.Vincent Racaniello, with all respect he has a lot of effort to let the student understand but not for step 1 exam, it is waste of time. hopefully you guys will fix this issue
They are so awesomely explained and very helpful thank you. I’d love the videos to have that ten second rewind or fast forward arrows like YouTube does, and then it would be perfect.
Excellent ! All the lectures of Dr. Sean Elliot are amazing ! A+++
she was understandable! i liked her! i am so prepared for the next test we will be doing
I love the lectures so much. I like trip on steroids I never have consumed lol. However. I think it would be great if they had the ten second mark or arrow so that it would rewind or fast forward the lecture. It’d Save time just like you tube videos and stuff. Thank you kindly
Very concise. Great illustrations. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
I checked the entire ECG / EKG lectures and they confused me more than they helped. The article 7 steps was a good start in my opinion but a video lecture of someone walking me through the steps would be better. The lectures don't cover how one should go about reading the ECG and what to infer from the data provided. This would come in handy to read them not just for the step exams but the clinical rotations as well so maybe add or change them up. ECG in Boards and Beyond could be looked at as good example for that in my opinion.
I am able to write my exams only listening to your videos. And your Qbank is very very useful for me...
The professor did not do a good job explaining concepts clearly, went too fast, covered little material
there wasn't enough details at some points. The topics, for me, are a little tough and the techer wasn't seems to be confident with the material. although the slides are very helpful to understand the topic.
Concise, easy to follow, great drawings, post questions provide a good summary of key points before
Great but insufficient. The second part has no subtitles for foreign speakers
amazing lecture, finally i understood the tertiary structure for the first time
I have really enjoyed the course because Prof. Thad Wilson explained all the concepts in easy and understanding way. So I can integrate all these concepts and apply while I converge that knowledge with other concepts that I have to apply while I'm trying to understand and see how other body systems actually work. For example the cardiovascular system, among others.
Amazing lesson! It’s very easy to understand. He is explaining everything clear!
Good and informative, no bad comments. Good lectures and lecturer
Good, where are the rest of the organelles (like peroxisome)
Need lot of detailed explanations.. especially in videos. The teacher is really good but the script is lacking too much.
The overall lecture topic is fine, However, because of being a rigid subject per se, more fun and slowing down might help further
I choose this rating because the lecture was so clear and and simple that made me rethink about the initials steps in the study of medicine.
Provided a cohesive picture in an order that made sense! I love the order that the videos are in to build that picture.
A calm and organized lecture made in a way that is easy to recollect with the start and end saying what we are going to learn and what we have learned.
Excellent ! I finally understand the topic after forgetting it many times ! Much better than First Aid !
Faltan aspectos microbiologicos como factores de virulencia y patogenia, pruebas de laboratorio, y enfermedades que produce.
The professor's way of teaching precisely saying his clear and neat approach to the lectures is what makes them great.
The course was good and helpful at summarising important points
To update: the receptors of the heart plus their Gs/Gi binding could be mentioned in the presentation
The way that Dr. Wilson teaches is really good and make things easier.
It has always been a joyful experience to watch your lectures, Dr. Wilson. One of the main reasons I love Lecturio is having excellent lecturers like you! Thank you.
Clearly explained the key concepts - not too wordy and presented with clear diagrams!
Thank you, this is helping me so much. I love these videos.
It helps me a lot with my presentation, I was having a hard time understanding this topic and after see this lecture it becomes easy to explain. Thank you so much.
I really like the lessons and I think they are really useful
Helps to understand the basics of ECG. More videos on abnormal ECG would be of great use.
Wonderful examples of the Hardy Weinberg principle. The exercise is explained step by step and is understandable in the first explanation.
thank you so much well done so helpful. thank you so much.
I love this app but can get a little confusing when the professor uses the wrong words or accidentally says the wrong thing. Do you not edit errors out? It’s a great platform just needs a few tweaks here and there.
The Pro. ist amazing and has a very clear way to introduce concepts The informations lack any medical relevance, they are directed more towards biological knowledge Please, try to be more oriented towards medicine, Sings and symptoms are needed
Not a great virus review course for Usmle step one students
Easy to understand and fun! Really useful! Great examples are provided!
The cardio lectures with Thad wilson is so amazing and intresting but one thing i need to clarify is that it should be better to show the answer of all those questions which was asked by the students on a lectures so that i can help also
He gets straight to the point, I liked this lecture. I recommend it
Excellently Explained about the transport and clarifies doubts regarding the different transport modes in membranes
Amazing course. It really makes you understand acid-base balance.
Gives you the basis and covers the necessary topics for a good understanding .
Clear and easy to follow Practice quiz questions are nice exercise on the main facts
I would totally recommend this course, I like how it was organized and how it explained the different biological processes implied on HCl production
The lecturer does a good job of explaining these concepts in a manner that was concise and easy to understand
EXCELLENT PRESENTATION WITH CLEAR ILLUSTRATIONS. MATERIAL WELL ARRANGED FOR EASY UNDERSTANDING.
There some topics that are not in the videos that would be amazing if you included. There are some mistakes with the Spanish translate in the subtitles.
well most know that shigella destroys gis mucosa...but the pathophysiology is now clear...thanx lecturio
It is very audible, good sound system, analysed with pictures and really more defined
This is pretty good introduction! haha how to control the cell cycle
I thought that this was very thorough and went over lots of the material that my current professor is going over. Some of the questions were either a little simple but reiterated take home points, or were left-field as the material was not covered in the specific video I just watched. Overall I would recommend this course to anyone struggling in genetics + read the comments because she does a great job in answering and clarifying questions you may not know that you had.
very well explained and is easy to understand, the graphics were very clear and it was synchronized with the explanation , I would definitely like to watch another lecture from Mr.Thad Wilson.
This set of lectures on Staph were very generalized and did not cover the other Staph bacteria commonly seen on STEP 1 (i.e. saprophyticus and epidermidis). This seems to be a common theme of not going deep enough to cover material necessary for STEP, yet advertising that you all cover enough material for STEP 1.
Excellent lecture. Clear explanation moves step by step with many examples.
This particular class video is not very helpful at all. I feel like genomic imprinting can be explained more efficiently and more clearly than what is portrayed in the video.
Really solid course taking you through the basics of acid base balance and disturbances as well as a great method for figuring out clinical cases with ease. Bravo Dr Wilson for this fantastic set of lectures
Tone, delivery, ease of comprehension for complex material - perfect. Thank you
The material taught seemed to comprise of only 10% of what we need to know for USMLE. Various bacteria ranging from gram positive cocci all the way to mycobacteria were all missing. And even with the bacteria taught ( streptococci, staphyloccci , vibrio , e.coli , shigella, salmonella) lacked a tremendous amount of depth. Very disappointing that I paid for this. Hoping virology lectures will be better.
I really liked that it gives you the information you need and the way the lecturer explains is very clear and easy way.
Very clear and thoroughly explained! You made a complex concept very simple. Thank you!
''The best''.it is my first time studying physiology and really enjoyed it...I think all the concepts are into my head now through the lecture..thanks much..
I loved the correlation with margarine and butter, it helps to understand and remember the topic.
la importancia sel sistema hipofisiario y su relacion directa con la regulación del cuerpo
Competent expert relating basic physiology principles well. Emphasis on aspects of physiology that relate to most common respiratory pathology. Good introduction and aid for the novice. Quiz questions after each lecture help reinforce key messages. Over time, Lecturio might be able to invest in more sophisticated graphics such as animations, to support the lecture's teaching objective and aid learning. The lecturer with powerpoint presentation can be a fairly benign and sometimes, unengaging method of teaching.
It was Very clear, had good retoric and the picures were easy to remeber
Nicely explained. The Prof. Has exceptional abilities to explain complex concepts
very good and excellent lecture.i like it.very good presentation
I appreciate that the changes were made according to reviews previously posted by students. It helps that the information is staying up-to-date for all users
Clean and clear. Simple explanations. He knows the subject for sure.
I like so much the content of this course and how the doctor provide the information
nothing could be better, I liked your way and simplicity with fully clear explanations.
Very first time that I have understood completely acid base balance/ pathology. Beautifully explained!
clear helpful illustrations. although history took much time, but I liked the way you went through it, your slides also were simple, not crowded and well organized.
it's very clear course with direct points and simple explanations. Also the notes and slides are well done.
The content of this course was fairly comprehensive and Professor Wilson does a good job of explaining most of the content. The quiz questions are also useful though sometimes poorly worded. I really liked the last few lectures on the more clinical practicalities of the content we had just learned. The course is arranged in a way that makes it somewhat difficult to follow sometimes. I had to go away and make sure i was read up fairly well on the kidney before i could understand enough to watch through all the lectures and i feel a better introduction to the kidney and how its anatomy and physiology are arranged and interconnect would have been useful. I think a section regarding the interaction of pharmacology and renal physiology would also have been a nice touch. All in all, worthwhile once you can begin to understand it
It tells the information is not really close to the USMLE questions.
Simple and easy to understand, he really likes the subject. I wish the videos were longer with more information. Maybe an advance lecture? Thank you!
I found this lecture very concise and easy to despite being quite basic. I have always struggled with understanding atomic structure and feel that it's due to information overload. This lecture provides just the right amount of information to build on.
thank you dr. Wilson . very good and easy understandable info with a lot of important topics
Mr Racaniello explained viral genetics very well in this course, however clinical diseases (measles, mumps, hepatitis viruses, etc) were not mentioned. Most importantly, HIV was not discussed.
I finally understood why we have Lineweaver Burk Plot and how we read it.
Mr Racaniello presents all of the material very well and I believe that he is an excellent lecturer. However, there are many important types of bacteria missing from this course. Pseudomonas, Treponema Pallidum, zoonoses, Clostridium, Tetanus, Helicobacter Pylori, Neisseria, Bordetella, etc. USMLEs step 1 go into great detail regarding many of these bacteria that were omitted from this course.
i knew next to nothing about molecular genetics, however after 6 weeks using lecturio ive gone from 20% in the practice tests at university to 70-80% each topic is subcategorised, easy to follow, and Dr. cornwall not only illustrates brilliantly but also delivers the otherwise difficult to understand material in a clear and concise manner,
Concise with good use of slides and professional presence and dress.

Very in-depth discussion of X-linked inheritance. A very good resource for studying for exams on human genetics.
The mechanism just summarises all the information into one picture
So many sub topics are missing. Please add new lectures to cover those topics. Bacteriology portion is incomplete
I liked it very much because it helped me access materiel that I already new without further complications. It was very easy to comprehend and I will recommend this to everybody needing this for whatever the reasons you need it for.
Appreciate too much, because after many readings in the books, finally I understand clear having the big picture of this topics . Congratulations to the Teacher .
she looked like she was reading from a script and not focused or natural.
Great lecture. You have a great and enthusiastic way of explaining.
Muy bueno, pausado. Buen resumen, ademas evaluación continua del aprendizaje.
Perfect way of explaining complex things. This is rarely seen by lecturers. Wow!
yes, very good! Very rethorical and good lecture. I love lecturio
Amazing lectures. Simplifies complex pathways and process. Really fantastic! Watched every lessons.
she explains it to the point and doesnt waste time going around the topic.
In the lecture Thad says that ATPase is a V-type pump, but in the test it is a P-Type pump, which is correct. This pump is called a P-type ion pump because the ATP interactions phosphorylates the transport protein and causes a change in its conformation. There should be a review process to ensure accuracy before these lessons are released. Overall a great lecture, but details like this are important ones not to miss. Thanks!
great presentation by dr. Wilson. i enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it to my colleagues
The video lectures helped me organize the information I already knew and filled the gaps in between. I appreciated how Dr. Wilson was concise and straight to the point with his lectures.
Love it when you can get 4 book pages of information in less than 5 minutes.
Nice one, well described, nice talker, I enjoyed a lot. Keep it up!
simple way of teaching and at the same time covering everything- amazing.
Well done! Very targeted information. For those that say it’s not as deep as their classroom lecture, it is not designed to be. Again, what we are supposed to get out of this course is the high yield information...and we are getting it. Thank you so much Dr. Cornwall.
Me encanta, todo bien conciso, de manera muy explicada y digerible de combrender
I just love this Professor. He has made physiology quite simple. He is a true professor. I hope to meet him one time and gain from his vast knowledge face to face.
Prof Wilson deserves all the awards he's won and more! Thanks for making physiology likeable.
Attaractively and well explained video of serine protease catalytic mechanism that I have ever seen...Thank you..????
Easy to understand...high yield information....great graphics,well done!
My major complaint is the "swallowing" and "lip sucking" sound he makes so often during the entire lecture. It's so distracting that I can't focus on what he's talking about.
Easier to comprehend with the use of great illustrations. concise and crisp presentations
not detailed and for a introductory vedio should be more explanatory
Never Understood this concept so easily until Dr. Wilson explained it on this forum.
Made it very easy to understand. Thank you very much!
Almost no information really disappointing. Use Step 1 2018 page 46 ... Even a student could have presented the topic in more depth as it is important.
very nice and efficient lectures, you have to write some notes to your book from this lectures!
a tough subject, but Dr. Georgina made it very easy and palatable, thanks soo much.
I just want to admit that this tuition is a hard one and she made it very easy.
just excellent , the content and the preparations were realyy excellent and goes very easy.
I believe that she is a great lecturer but, the issue is the way of delivering the lesson and how much was she ready to record the tuition. anyway it was a good experience for both of us, she let me search a lot for the genetics to unwind condense informations :)
Very disorganised way of explaining concepts It would be much better if things were presented in more detail and if the presentations were structured adequately
Concise and clear beginning in cell biology and homeostasis to warm up.
Never understood this much better than today! Thanks a lot for for doing this.
Easy to understand especially for first timer of this course
I think that this course is a incredible tool for medical students. I belive that it's important the Microbiology for doctors and it's great that we have access at it's information
Claro y directo, ayuda a entender muy bien los principio básicos de la fisiología
The lecturer did not appear confident looking into notes too often. Too many hand gestures are a distraction especially when not pointing to the stuff on the slides. The material was not presented in an easy or simple way. Made it more complicated that it actually is. I feel difficulty in continuing to the next lectures without understanding this.
Great set of tutorials. Ideal for a quick recap before an exam.. Thanks a lot.
Me parece una buena clase, con una muy buena explicación, pero faltaron algunos detalles, por ejemplo: explicar la manera en la que el surfactante reduce la tensión superficial y su composición exacta.
I would love to give a higher rating but many important pathogens are not covered
Some points are not stated clearly enough. Overall, good presentation.
I wish all professors prepared students for Biology courses with this explanation. Thank you for addressing this concept!
To the point, clear, precise, great tone and flow. Well planned curriculum.
Great course, easy to listen to instructor, good explanations, good clinical references
Amazing lectures! Very well explained and effective videos. A perfect way to get a clear view of the subjects, very glad I found this.
So, during my first two years, I thought this course was a little on the light side, and it feels a bit as if the instructor is more stating facts rather than explaining and linking ideas. I know they tend to keep the videos short, but I think this course could have benefitted from more time, from a learning the material stand point. As a video series for learning, you might be left wanting with just over an hour per subject. As a learning source, 3 out of 5. So, now on to why you should really give this guy a watch. I was looking for a quick microbiology review during my dedicated study. I had watched sketchy, and read the textbooks, but wanted a quick, solid review series to watch during lunch and dinner during my dedicated, something a little bit more to the point than sketchy. This lecture series is the holy grail of high yield review that is exactly what any student looking for a great microbiology source to watch during their dedicated study. It is short, to the point, and highlights what you need to get most of those micro questions right on UWORLD and has the images in the slides that you need to be able to recognize. High yield review source, 5 out of 5. So, overall, I would give this series a 4 out of 5. If your a first or second year, this might not be the best choice for microbiology, however as a high yield review I would rank these microbiology videos second to none.
Breaking difficult concepts into simple ones. The quiz at the end of each lecture reinforces the learning. I've been aggressively marketing this material to my friends.
i recomend the video to medical student, nurses and physician to learn
I feel like she is just reading notes that she has been just handed over.
5/5 because of the simplified explanation of the human microbiome. I like the approach used because it sets the stage for acquiring important high yield information later into the subject.
Dr. Wilson's delivery.....WOW....Really appreciate this and pray to God to be able to retain same for massive exams on Monday
great lecture realy useful im first year dentistry school in romania
The presentation is simple, short and concise preparing students for more detailed content. I believe that this is an efficient approach toward a broader base of an audience. Thank you!
Simple to follow, made staying with professors during lecture much easier!
You do a wonderful job of clearly and concisely breaking down concepts.
the course was good, the first video was condensed with a ton of information and I think you should maybe think about splitting this kind of videos in the future, I was finding myself watching other youtube videos to study this subject. it is always good to use plenty of different source of information to develop a wide perspective on a subject. but in this case, I want to rely on lecturio only.
Dr. Cornwall is very thorough and paces herself very well in relating core concepts.
Very well explained, and the diagrams are very didactic. It is a complicated topic, but it was easy to follow and to understand.
most of the things i catch from animation while only little from lecture (for which i had to pause the video to read all those stuff written there, which is time consuming). mam's speech seems quite a kind of nervous, suffocating type
Great lecturer. Keeps the lecture interesting and easy to remember. Wish I had him as my professor.
I loved your enthusiasm in this lecture series. Thank you for making this fun
I liked the course. informative, easy to follow, to understand and to memorize, However, I have noticed that many topics/ microbes have not been addressed (TB, N.Gonorrhea, T. Pallidum, Leprosy, Mycoplasma, clostridium ....... ). Although those might be touched in other topics such infectious diseases, but they should be highlighted in a microbiology course. Would recommend the entire Lecturio to my daughter who just started her first year of medical school. Microbiology is supposed to be studied during her 2nd year though
Great course! Check the MCAT: Microbiology Course for the pre-cursors of these USMLE Step 1 lectures (overview of gram staining, cell wall structure, etc).
Nice job. Thumbs up. Some review questions came before the lecture.
Genetics generally is a very confusing part, I think she made it quite interesting and I grabbed a whole lot
The explanation of concepts were precise and focused. I like the pictoral representations I'll recommend the lecture to my friends, who are taking USMLE Step 1
5 rating is what you deserve , i really liked the way you illustrate those key aspects
simply clear and good. Well captured within the 3 min and for long (I am sure) !
Very good lecture, I realy loved it, five stars thank you theacher
So much more simple than my lectures. Thanks for the detailed lecture. You're a life saver.
He makes cardiology super simple. All lectures and diagrams are high yield for boards.
that was a simple and accurate description i liked it very much
Great explanation, easy to follow. It helped me a lot to understand how hearing works.
I needed an update on genetic like this one, i like the way is shown every part and all the details within, i recomend this article to everybody.
This class helped me a lot, thank you very much. I value his effort very much, he is a great teacher, many successes. Greetings from Peru
"To be able to synthesis thyroid hormone". - Mini-lecture dialogue
Although the lecture content is good. This speaker frequently uses inappropriate sentence structure and phrasing. The result is certain sentences, when spoken, become confusing even though their content is simple. For example...Lets talk about how the placenta and its roles in helping the fetus develop. The sentence makes sense when you read it in the script without having listened to it. However, in the mini-lecture, it was read without pauses or breaks that clarified the emphasis of the sentence. it should have been read as: For example...Lets talk about how the placenta, and its roles in helping the fetus, develop. I know the speaker is likely reading a script, but it happens frequently where his enunciation or sentence delivery does not match the context of sentence. This adds a certain layer of listener confusion which delays the rate at which an individual is progressing through each mini-lecture (4-min lecture becomes 7-minutes). This happens frequently with this speaker and is not a huge deal, until you are forced to listen to all of the physiology lectures, and then become agitated.
"... and we know that the DNA was taken up because the plant grows tumors OR NOT..." Taking the term "tentative scientific language" to another level!! LMFAO >D
This course was informative and professional. I look forward to learning more!
Very calming, understandable, and professor knows what information is right to share
In my school we will take this lecture in 2 hours!!! Way too short and superficial
This course is a great. The material was presented in a professional and precise manner. Exactly what I needed before exams tomorrow!
He makes it very easy to understand. I learned so much from this video without even realizing it.
lectures are very exciting and informative provided someone have basic knowledge of genetics. With reference to USMLE, I am afraid to say that is it is helping.
THANK YOU Pro Ahern you're amazing! very well explained!
Professor Ahern is a perfect teacher and he makes everything so easy to understand
He tenido problemas con la clase de fisiología, porque no puedo comprender del todo lo que mi profesor está diciendo, por ahí escuché de Lecturio, y estoy muy feliz, porque pude entender muy bien lo que estaba enseñando.
Dr. Wilson, you are my hero, you made this concept of acid base balance so easy for the first time in my life. Thank you so much!!
She talks too fast. Also reads too much from her papers. Seems like she's not sure of what she is teaching.
She talks too fast. Additionally, she reads from her notes too much, strikes me as someone who does not have a firm grasp on what she is teaching.
As much as your stories are interesting for the ETC gradient It does not fit my learning style. It would be nice to have clear scientific language about what's happening. I can't write a story on my exam paper. Perhaps this is just me.
Easy to understand and very complete. Thank you for your time, helped me a lot
Brilliant lectures, really helped to consolidate my learning. The associated test questions are a pain in the ass though, please supply a reference range with the question... we use different ranges (units) over this side of the pond :0)
Feels like she is not comfortable with information she is teaching. Accuracy of information (and spelling!) is sometimes questionable.
Assalam-o-Alikum! Sir your lectures are very informative and its my humble request kindly give us access to download these lectures because lots of time taken by lecture due to internet problem plz try to understand and give us access of downloading
Great Explanation !! I wish we would have had you as a teacher. :)
I liked this curse a lot, but I really think maybe some animations would make it a whole lot better
This was a nice, comprehensive summary of main points in vision with an appropriate amount of detail. The posted response from Dr. Wilson clarifying the role of bipolar cells is much appreciated too
Wow! Muchas gracias por todo el contenido muy bien explicado! Realmente fue muy interesante y, de gran aprendizaje asistir a todos los videos del curso "Introduction to Cell Biology".
Clear explanations provided with diagrams that helped me follow the explanations
i never thought learning cardiac physiology would be this easy , thank you so much
Thank you, dr. Wilson! Your lecture here is very much appreciated. You made it clear the important facts and process of synapses and neurons.
It explains the most important aspects of acid-base disorders and gives good examples for us to understand the concepts. I personally liked his explanations very much.
la clase fue demasiado concreta, tuve que pausar para calificar al profesor
Its hard to pay attention on her lectures because she always pauses to read her notes.
A very good lecturer of Microbiology. Thank you and I am looking forward in learning more.
The course is very useful to refresh our physiological knowledge and quick study time. Dr. Wilson's explanations are very easy to follow, yet I think they're too simple, and I don't recomend the course if wanting to learn specific organ physiology. Also, the course completely dissapointed me in the area of liver physiology, and I think there are many others that need to go deep in complexity and detail of information, like the cellular physiology section, signal transduction was barely mentioned, and it is an extremely necesary aspect for undestanding physiology.
i feel that u r teaching better than other professors we as a student understanding better micro as step by step
This was a very nice course for refreshing your memory and also getting another explanation so you could understand things better. But for a course like Physiology, it would be nice with some animated slides as well to better understand some things. Because the arrows pointing to stuff or simply just saying the name or color the name could sometimes be a bit confusing. I liked professor Thad, he was easy to understand and made it fun. But the lack of visual aid in form of simulations/animations unfortunately pulled down your score a lot. Also when you have finished a course you can hit course overview and i expected there would be a quiz or something so you could test yourself on every lecture in one test. That would also be a great thing to add. Then you know you have understood everything. However I really liked the questions in the end of the lectures, sometimes i wished there would be more than just 1 or 2 questions. At least at my school the small details are important. And maybe add even more clinical relations. So I give all the lectures in all 4 stars.
Great job again Dr. Ahern! You have helped me better my understanding of these topics.
great lecture, very simple and clear. I've finally understood bonds!)) thank you!
very informative and well explained lecture. Dr. Kevin Ahern has changed my view of biochemistry.
Very well put. Dr Kevin Ahern explains difficult topics in a very short concise and interesting manner.
I am a biochemistry student studying in the UK I found this so useful especially as a foundation in my initial year of study.
I love the visuals, her method of speaking and the transcript at the end
I liked how strep was broken down between group A and group B but the video didn't mention the different types of strep in each group ie s. pyogenes. The quiz asked about catalases but didn't mention it in the video.
You don´t speak about 11-21-17 hydroxylase this a very high yield usmle. the rest is ok.
This course augmented my university lectures perfectly. I turned up for class today prepared to consolidate the concepts and apply the learning!
things made quite easy with interactive lectures and slides and tables
Very clear explanation. Very easy to follow and understand each topic.
The combo of visual and review aided in maintaining info
This lecture and the one before were very confusing. You need to explain that the third energy level can technically hold UP TO 18 electrons (s,p,d sublevels) but it also fills up with the first 8 it receives. valence shells (energy shells) and energy LEVELS need to be better distinguished and not used interchangeably. Luckily, I knew the material and was able to straighten things out for myself using Google. How can I know that Lecturio will not have faulty lectures in the biochem module (material I'm not familiar with)? I am still within 10 days and am considering cancelling my lecturio subscription over this lost credibility in my mind.
It is very clear to understand. Great job Dr. Cornwall.
Prof Cornwall does a great job at presenting the material, catching my attention easily into the depth of the material while being precise with the content. Very easy to learn from :)
You make it much more easier. However, I still understand all important points. Thank you!
Great professor, he simplifies all the topics to the level of understanding even when the lecture is watched for the first time.
She talks so clear, understandable.. just a little fast but i havent got bored.. Thank you..
it was very good, and helped in understanding the basics
Clear and really focused lectures. Used this to pass my final physio exam. Thank you!
I love it so much!!! It’s been a truly rewarding experience for me!
Good lecture, but not USMLE focused. This is more of a general biology lecture than a USMLE prep lecture. It seems to me that Lecturio is not making the difference between MCAT prep and USMLE prep. The lectures look more like MCAT prep lectures and not USMLE.
I've been interested in cyborg technology since first learning about it in the mid-1970's when I was a little kid. In 1988 when I began at the University of Washington I wanted to study remote-controlled people, but they didn't offer any courses in that field, although 25 years later the school published their EEG brain-to-brain interface that lets one person control the motions of another. In February 1997 while successfully debating cloning legislation with the Department of Defense, I was ordered to stand down when trying to discuss brain implants, but eventually in 2005 my paper was credited as the basis for the Wikipedia article on the subject, and on 2 April 2013, the 17th anniversary of my first sworn statement to the Seattle FBI detailing organized crimes against children at a media giant, President Obama announced funding for the BRAIN Initiative. Even Jesus said go help out at the vineyard if you want to build heaven, and folks grumbled because they just assumed it already existed as if by magic.
I like the way she expresses, you can easily understand her
Very good use of examples connecting to every day life.
I have reviewed the curricula for several physiology modules and found them excellent!
Very simple and to the point... easy to understand each and everything
By my opinion, very interesting and informative lectures. Thank you very much!
best prof in the world explains everything so good that even a kid will understand
VERY CLEAR AND EASY TO FOLLOW! IT CAPTURED MY ATTENTION. ALSO LIKED THE FORMAT
Really great explanations of the whole process. Was not happy that I had to relearn Krebs and ETC but actually found these videos enjoyable and valuable.
I find Dr. Thad Wilsons lectures concise and interestingly put, leading to easy proper revision. Thank you
The lecture are awesome. It is just easy to understand Thank you very much!
Great enzyme analogy! Enzyme is the friend who puts his two other friends in contact with each other so that they can start talking and dating ;)
Nothing on how p53 relates to RB or how p53 induces p21 to inhibit CDK thus acting as a tumor suppressor by not allowing cell cycle progression. This info is found in the the First Aid for the USMLE so it is probably important.
very good explanation, cleared my concepts. Great visual. thumbs up!
I like the smooth flow of the subjects in this course and how they focus on small details that make you digest and understand the living human from very small details.
In terms of studying for something like USMLE, brief intro is fine! Such topics will not be tested on the exam but are necessary to build foundations for other future topics. If you are studying for other exams, this whole module may be a bit light on key information. Great as a refresher though!
The GI physiology was very detailed. It helped to reinforce what I learnt in class. Good overall.
Takes difficult concepts from West and Guyton and explains them succinctly. The quizzes are very helpful as well.
I'm a foreign medial MD internal medicine specialist and I came to us I just felt lost but when I find this tools my life just changed! I already suggest This to other physicians here in USA. I hope I can pass all the usmle steps I will let you know guys!
the acid base balance section was great. clear, precise and the acid base box just made it all click. Fantastic!
There is possibly a mistake in galactosa geometric formula in the lecture
I’m following this course as I’m attending this course at my university, it very helpful, but I wish it was as detailed as our class are.
short and sweet concepts. nice tables. easy to understand. thank you.
The Prof was taliking and explaining quickly where u can understand or get the the information in a good way
This is not a USMLE 1 focused topic, an important material for the step, it's so superficial either the question that is a first order question. Need to going deep in the topics, we're not an undergraduate students.
Not my favorite subject but very well explained and understanded.
I like it because it is really going to be perfect for my learning and I liked everything from it! It was really great taught by the Educator.
Explanation is crystal clear. Slightly fast for the beginner, but repeating the video would help. Thanks.
She broke it down to the very basic and helped me get a good foundation
The explanation is very clear, I'm early to continue watching more videos.
This guy is fantastic lecturer and the best on this platform, knows the subject matter, knows how to capture your attention throughout and also has a way of going over everything in a short summary. However, I would have appreciated if he becomes more test oriented. Thank you.

This guy is the best lecturer on this platform, knows the subject matter, knows how to capture your attention and also has a way of going over everything in a short summary
It is really helpful. I appreciate your kind efforts. Thanks verh much.
Me encanta como se enseña! Ya quisiera tener una profesora como ella en la Universidad!
Great break down of physiology. To the point and easy to understand.
I had to try so hard to follow what lecture was teaching, subject matter is quite abstract. All the same thanks for trying.
I had to try so hard to follow what lecture was teaching, i remember i enjoyed this better in med sch. All the same thanks for trying.
this topic is quite too cumbersome and lecturer didn't seem to be in control of material presentation
Nice intro to genetics, subject that's usually scary but very well carried out. thank you
great lecturer with an incredible pitch and clarity but this subject rather fees boring and i tend to get the post lecture quizzes wrong but its all good. I need to read elsewhere but all the same keep up the good work.
great lecturer with an incredible pitch and clarity but this subject rather fees boring and i tend to get the post lecture quizzes wrong but its all good. I need to read elsewhere but all the same keep up the good work.
great lecturer with an incredible pitch and clarity but this subject rather fees boring and i tend to get the post lecture quizzes wrong but its all goo. keep up the good work
i don't know but sometimes its very difficult for me to follow lecturer and i get confused with interchangeable terminologies but great job overall.
A very difficult topic which is highly volatile to forget, but lecture does his best to keep us informed
It was just amazing, he was critic to give information and had the most important skills for me, and that is: perfect didactic. Had all concise information I needed.
Like it very much. Will like it more if you can add more bacterias and viruses on the course!!!
He simplified the concepts and illustrated by a very nice way
First of all I would like to say that I really appreciate all of the effort by the professors and Lecturio to do great lectures, however, I would like to say, as well, that you need to focus on the exam format (In this case - USMLE Step 1). For example, in this lecture it was asked: "Which of the following is NOT a lysosome related disorder?" that is pretty good, because it has a clinical context with the subject, however this " lysosome related disorder" have never been taught by Professor Cornwall.
Very good presentations, accurate and to the point lectures. Love to study with you!!!
The explanations and images are well coordinated, making the review more interesting
Excellent delivery of content which was easy to understand Good use of diagrams and graphs to help explain key concepts
The explanations and examples were clear and right to the point
informative. good review for this basic area as it has clinical correlations
The professor makes the subject matter interesting and understandable for the layperson.
Hello! I have not finished all the course so I can not give you a proper feedback. but so far I really liked it and it has been quite useful. Thanks.
Lectures very good. But i wish you had some themes like giardiasis, amebiasis and others.
Very clear what is going on. I understand it much better.
This lecture helped clearing a lot of questions in my mind. Very well delivered. Thank you
Loved the lectures, especially the lecture on the electron transport chain. Dr. Cornwall had a really useful analogy of the ETC and kids (electrons and hydrogens) going to the prom (ETC) that really made the concept stick. Very good job!
The chapter about cellular structure has given me clear explanation and enhance my knowledge about the different functions that the plasma membrane assure. The course just makes my understanding of cell dynamic very straightforward.
I feel that the delivery is good but the content is not detailed enough, e.g. when talking about splicing, I think it would have helped to talk about what ‘snurps’ are involved and how this relates to initiation.
It's an excellente teacher! She uses easy analogies that you can memorize quickly and gives you a summary of your class (in my case). Greetings from México!
Excellent structure and content. Essential basics for chem and biol.Thank you.
Well organized backed with excellent methods of teaching & illustration. In summary, I found what I want in short period of time.
I wanted to appreciate him for his great novel work like teaching ????????
Me gusto mucho porque pude repasar el tema sobre la homeostasis.
I liked the lecture and the diagrams, I can put 5 stars yet because I am unsure how relevant everything is. Pretty basic biochem, but it was a good refresher. The diagrams are helpful.
very bad .. they dont have mycobacterium.. dont purchase the subscription .. these people have fooled us. they dont have anything on mycobacterium tuberculosis
very good, is complicated, but i understand everything, she is a good teacher
great! Lecture for the professor! Good animation, easy to comprehend!
I love how all these complicated defenitions and ininformation is explained in such a pedagogical way. Many thanks!
the explanation is very clear, the scientific names are pronounced very well and the illustrations are standing out.
I wish all the other professors had her didactics. Pointing clearly the goals of the presentation before and after the lecture helps us to mentally organize the subject.
I agree that it was brief if someone was looking for something more comprehensive. It was sufficient for me as I only required this to understand one lecture slide however not enough questions.
it is really good ,some hesitation at the beginning but the diagram is very informative ,whopple hypothesis needs more explanation.
The course is informative and up-to-date, which is really important for me. I took my science courses before 2010; now, I’m preparing to take the MCAT. It is an excellent review of content.
Cool. Great examples, Should have showed how the equilibrium of the equation changes once there's acid base disturbance, and how does the compensation is predicted. For me it's much easier than the graphs.
Gooood job LoL and really a good story-maker????Thank you very much! Amazing, very impressive!
Thank you very much!! So funny and interesting! I laughed many times LoL also learned A Loooot!!!
Good lecture but the text below or in captions is the wrong text!
I do not think there can be any simpler explanation of these concepts. Dr. Cornwall takes her time to explain these concepts in a way that they stick with you, and the analogies she uses engrave them into the medulla so that you can relate to the concept. You can't beat this! This is exceptional!!!! Thank you so much!!
explained very well and clear in short time. got all i need to know
First step to refresh and understand different concepts. Highly recommended.
Excellent presentation of obscure topics to develop a students concepts in this difficult field
I love professor Wilsons lectures. He is so relaxed and is talking at the perfect speed and makes it easy to understand. The information given in these lectures is really good.
Great for helping understand renal physiology and putting it all together! Dr. Wilson is clear and explains the concepts well.
The material covered a wide variety and having a non-science background it is clear and easy to understand.
Very nice, short and high lead video , I liked it a lot
Everything that you need to know is in this lecture series.
even after the update, on and off center in not clear
excellent she is a very good teacher, the grafhics are didactical she explains in a very simple way, i like it
I had to pause the video to rate it! IMO professor Thad is the best teacher! and his voice is magical i could listen to it even if it was audio only! another great course LECTURIO!!!
very well explain and illustrate! The information match perfectly the pictures and the speed of the expositor is flawless.
You're the best physiology teacher ever! Thanks a lot for your awesome lectures sir. You're the best!
Thank you very MUCH. I learned a lot. He presents the lectures in a very understandable way. I appreciate him a lot. I became so excited while listening to his presentation. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. God bless you.
The lecture simplified the concept, it’s easier to understand and straight to the point. It’s a good post textbook review of the concept. Thank you so much!
Very well explained which makes it easy to understand and memorized.
Explanations made a complicated physiology lecture so easily understandable. Examples were clear and on point.
MBBS student cant get benefit from this lecture. The clear concept needed for a future Doctor about Microbiology.
really thorough explanation - finally i understood the problem with the set point great explanation of the influence that prostaglandin has!
I like the fact that the lectures are detailed and Dr.Cornwall makes it fun and easy to understand.
The course was well explained. It is confusing subject matter, but she did her best to make it understandable. She is funny, energetic and lively
This is course is still challenging me but i can understand how abstract the concepts are i think i need an in-depth review of course
Thank you Dr. Cornwall, I really think genetics is quite a difficult concept so you are doing your very best, i must admit its very confusing at times i will need go over the concepts again.
It's really helping me getting the basic understanding. And the tips for surviving medical school is worth to try.
I really loved it, because PhD Cornwall made it really easy to understand.
This lecture was excellent in every way, I must say DR. Cornwall is a Pro in intermediate metabolism. I couldn't understand this processes better in medical school than she has made me.
Brilliant. I recommend this course strongly if you want to understand this topic.
Please consider adding more questions, as an optional quiz, because I know if the quizzes are too long the circle can't go green and the time taken to go through the whole set might increase, but if you added questions as an extra choice for those wanting to be challenged that might be nice.
Based on explaination. I felt there was some lack of informations. In some area needs to be more profound.
Great lecturer who is knowledgeable about the subject. However the animations in both mitosis and meiosis would have been in motion so the explanations were tuff to follow. overall good attempt. keep up the good job.
excellent clear description told easily thanks so much understand a lot more now
I liked it very much!!! Thank you for your amazing job AGAIN!!! :-)
he talks very clearly, coherent, easy to follow, i read only the free sections was so nice and clear.
Great lecturer who is very knowledgeable about the subject matter & pitch. Pace is also good but needs to work on pronunciation of certain words. keep up the good job.

This instructor makes this course enjoyable, and very easy to understand the materials presented here. I have already informed all my friends who are interested about going to medical schools about lecturio. Lecturio is a blessing to mankind.
I like how Dr. Ahern took his time to explain the topic in an articulate manner. Helped me understand the topic and want to learn it more.
Excellent lectures, you can understand in a few minutes the basics of difficults topics
Well explained she took her time tho but she did it well
El semestre pasado apenas y me di cuenta de todo lo que la enzimas y las reacciones significaban, ahora creo tener una visión mucho ma completa, GRACIAS
An excellent, brief and up to date piece of information, ideal for quick recall
Good content, I like this course, but this particular class could be a bit clearer
I know that you spent a lots of time to learn physiology. You provide us in a very short time. I am very excited to follow your videos and I relay appreciate your presentations. GOD BLESS YOU.
Very easily to follow. The concepts are explained so that one who isn’t familiar with biochem can understand with ease.
considering that most students are paying monthly, it will be nice to have a small animation team that works with the lectures to have the highest quality of service, this platform needs to beat videos found on youtube or be equal to it. rather than still pictures. I found the first video not to be as an introduction to this topic of musculoskeletal phy. but so far I like the lecturer and his explanation. it helps supplement my book.
love the illustrations and the step by step explanations. Very knowledgeable !!
the teacher is really great - explains stepwise - repeats things in an understandable manner - i could learn about alveolar ventillation - the mechanics of surfactant - role of pneumocytes II -
Lectures are good but not enough information. How about genetic replication, metabolism, ....? MISSING!
I really appreciate his enthusiasm and clarity. He's cheesy, but that's what makes his presentations a little more interesting.
his lecturers are really fantastic in content and very easy to understand, just a few pronunciation issues
Well done by the professor with full of transfer sense.
I really enjoyed learning something that I wouldn't have enjoyed otherwise. Thanks a lot for such a great lecturer.
Teacher making the concepts crystal clear thank you , also all the portions are covering
couldnt understand a thing. Please try to use animation to explain better
I thoroughly enjoyed all the videos. Also by listening to these lectures, my uni lectures are making sense to me now. Thank you so much Dr Vincent. You have made my life so much easier now.
Classes have an excellent quality, however there are small mistakes when you´re reffering to some specific molecules such as cAMP and cGMP because in some ocasions, you tend to exchange one with the other in just a few ocassions. Nonetheless, the overall course is excellent, with clear explanations.
Sometimes the lecturer reads some information without explaining what is meant by it. If you can improve that I would be glad.
The lectures are well organised and gives you a basic understanding of viruses and how different types of viruses replicates in the host cell but it doesn't talk about the individual viruses, pathogenesis and the diseases caused by the individual viruses.
Thank you for the series of lectures, I really liked them, simple and well explained.
The explanation is so basic and explicit, hitting all the important fact that, even illiterates would understand. Great lecture!
Brief and to the point with the material. The visual was also quite helpful
Doctor Racaniello gives us great explanations about the different topics of bacterial biology. One of the things that I appreciate the most from his lectures, is the appropiate speed and use of clear language which facilitates the understanding for foreign students such as myself.
I am having my genetics exam soon and this course was extremely helpful to better understand the information. Thank you !
It seems superficial. Why do I care about flow rates? How do the hormones interact? This whole course was just segmented and surface level. Lecturio has the potential to replace a lot of medical schools if they start to connect information rather than segmenting it.
Dr. Wilson is a great teacher, his lectures are concised, direct to the point, and High Yield material...
the teacher is not teaching that much elaborative but then also it is better than most of the time hope it will get better
u r so good like honestly amazing thank you so much professor
best and easy way to revise. Dr Thad Wilson has the best way of explaining things. appriciated
The lecturer frequently mispronounces words and stumbles as he speaks quite a bit. It was very distracting and made it hard to focus on what he was trying to say. The course needed more videos that takes about how different variables that impact Guyton curves. The questions asked after each lecture were not always covered during the lecture.
I never would've thought such a complex respiratory concept would be simplified by a bunch of colored garden gnomes. Thanks Dr. Wilson!
Good lecture but annoying how prof. said IONotropy when it is iNOtropy.
Nice video, succinct, and clear. Cleared some concepts up like why the mean systemic pressure changes or does not change.
Great lectures, i´m satisfied with your contents. Doctor Wilson is always surprising us with his explanations.
Doctor Ahren. Great explanations and enhances my knowledge in biochemistry, i´d rather reccomend you tu use a lower velocity on your explanations because some of the students are foreigners and they probably may lose the idea. Nevertheless i´m completely satisfied with your video lectures.
Amazing stuff but doesnt differ the exotoxins into the four forms of them.
Simplified the lecture in enzymes and i like how everything was explained in a simple but direct way. :)
It is well prepared and presented by Dr Wilson. I look forward to updates and CME updates on Endocrinology.
I liked the lecture it gave me a brief idea of the concept
I appropriate how you explain cardiac output!! I did not get it and I did study the chapter many times until I watched you and you made it so easy for me!!!
WOW, very easy way to understand the most complex part of lecture! Dr. Wilson is very relaxed, clear and knowledgeable of the subject! I would recommend this video to my classmates!! Thank you so much Dr. Wilson!!
I think each lecture is great, but the contents are not enough for USMLE. More precisely, the contents of general principle parts are helpful, but those of detailed exposition parts should be improved to contain more information. For example, You need to provide us for more details about many types of bacteria. The number of kinds of bacteria addressed in this course is small. It's far from enough for USMLE step 1. The same same goes for viruses. The others are favorable.
Very clear and simple to understand! Dr. Wilson love and enjoy what he teaches!
Excellent explanation about the cardiac cycle. The professor makes it simple to understand. The lectures have the ideal length.
The explanation is short and simple. Very easy to understand, it allows me the time to think about what is happening.
Great teacher !! I was amazed with your way of teaching.. You made one of the most hard subjects look so easy thank you
I learned a lot about cell structure in the most simple and efficient way.
It's more efficient than reading the book.Excellent, it's easy to understand!!!
He's very detailed and slow-paced. Making it very easily understandable. I've had physiology for a whole semester, and first after watching his videos, I've finally started to understand the whole picture of each system.
Explanations by Dr. Wilson are great. This was a great alternative to review the basic concepts about this topic.
It is too much Helping. It is Awesome and helpful
The course is good but some questions in the quizzes have the wrong correction. Some information in the physiology course is incompatible with the quizzes in pathology. As an example, the information given about the central receptores being sensible to H+ ion and not to CO2 itself (in physiology) is correct but in the pathology course it is considered incorrect in one of the quizzes where we are given the option between CO2, H+ and other ions and the “right” answer is CO2 which is wrong. I would recommended but the quizzes must be checked for erros.
Hi everyone. This is an excellent tool to remember everything i went trough when I was in second and third year of Medicine. I appreciate that in all of your lectures, there is a relaxed enviroment and the speed of your explanations is really appropiate for the individuals with a native language different from english. In my case being spanish.
First time I get to understand the various confusing genomes. wonderful
very brief and only touches the superficial parts of ssDNA genomes
All Dr. Wilson's lectures are great. Good contents presented in a clear and interesting manner.
The lecture were short and concise and were just thesame as what I needed to learn.
Great way of teaching, I am Impressed by this and learnt it
The lecturer uses great analogies to make concepts easier to understand.
Good content presented in an very easy to follow manner.
Very concise. Great explanations. Great distilling down the most important information.
I thought this was the worst taught course Lecturio has to offer. I was left confused most of the time. Fortunately Ive used lecturio for other courses and was very satisfied so I will still recommend this program.
As general principles this can be ok.It is missing examples of ECG tracing on real ECG papers to recognize the normal mean axis in practical way.Would you please do a lecture showing the normal axis and axis deviation in hypertrophy and ischemia
This lecture left me confused at exactly the interplay between these two systems. Perhaps its the diagram. I was lost after Decreased Osmolality. I think that is where this lecture goes down hill.
I have been studying many subjects from Lecturio but I don't like how Physiology is explained. I think there's not enough information and the teacher speaks so quiet and soft.
it's amazing the example with the gnoms thank you !! easy to learn
Every topic was clearly explained and I could understand them very well.
These lectures are good , but it needs improvement it should be more in details , and the actions are not mentioned in its orders for example first of all initiation then elongation finally termination ..
I love his courses! Really interesting and informative! Thank you for this awesome lecture.
I think that a lot of important concepts were not explained enough, and some at all. I did not like the way things were explained.
Explains the material well without reading off the slides. Other areas could be improved, such as EKG, but overall, he provides a good base and a much needed break between reading assignments.
I don't waste my time going to any biochemistry lectures at my medical school because I know that Dr Cornwall explains all of the content more clearly, in more depth, in less time. I always finish her lectures excited for the next one!
Brilliant! I have always found these topics extremely confusing at medical school, but Dr Cornwall is able to explain them in such a way that they seem straight forward and easy. This certainly replaces lectures for me! If anybody is unsure about trying this course, they should definitely try it! Dr Cornwall is the best biochemistry lecturer I have seen!
Dr. Cornwall hesitates a lot, and seems unprepared and unsure. Make people feel like she is reading the material and even not familiar with the reading materials. It is really confusing.
I really like the detailed lectures and how they break it down so it can be understood easily.
this is very helpful. thank you very much for this lecture.
Very helpful on understanding the basics of the repair mechanisms.
Sometime the lecturer comes through clinical signs of patients with particular diseases and doesn't explain that sign, just introducs it to that disease. We need to know how that sign looks like when we encouter a patient so that we know how to deal with him.
Direct and to the point Very easy to understand Made the material more manageable
Absolutely brilliant. made a hard topic easy. thank you very much
Way too basic. Need much more depth to actually be useful at all. Wish they were more like the pathology lectures.
great leacture by prof.Thad great work by him for the development of concepts of phisiology.
Quick and to-the-point. My 1 hour medical school lecture in less than 10 minutes
(...) we're drowning in information but starved for knowledge (...) Breaking down complex information into manageable information is a kind of art to me. So THANK YOU for your artistic existence!!! Keep up your good work! By the way my coffee consumption decreased by you guys :-)
Wow! Never thought I’d be amazed by the clarity and succintness of the discussion. Packs into a few minutes what would take a four hour lecture to discuss. Defintely recommended these lectures to my friends who are struggling with biochemistry and don’t want to use the books so much.
A great lecture. I am a high school student and i struggle with biology. I get a better explanation from your lectures and I am not even a native English speaker. Thank you so much!
He not evaluating the pictures. He is saying glut 2 but how can we understand which one glut 2 . I studied this befor3 so I understood. But for a beginner this lecture is waste of time. You better take the way of Dr najeeb lectures
The lectures are exceptionally good, with well illustrated slides and in good animation.
Easy to understand and to follow. It was so easy to learn some really high yield concept. I used it with the first aid and the result was awesome.Totally recommend it.
Concise yet fill with high yield information. I hope that the other lectures are similar to this one.
I loved this course! The concepts are explained well and best of all, there are quiz questions!!
It was well explained and it consolidates key concept to better understand the materials.
the lecturer is very good in lecturing, i understand very well morethan in the class hall
Thank you so much for beautifully explaining every single basic detail in chemistry. The modules covered up the required topics from the scratch to strengthen my basics.
Estudié medicina hace muchos años y las cosas han cambiado enormemente desde entonces. La aproximación a la clínica se me hace cada vez más difícil sin una vuelta a las bases y en eso el Dr. Racaniello ha sido extraordinariamente clasificador.
very good lecture! finally i understood respiratory physiology, i loved the slides
Great course but would be great if you could extend it to urology soonest
I think this course is really informative, though I would like some more details in subjects like RTKs and G coupled proteins. And also please add English subtitles to this course! I'm not native and I found it hard to keep up!
Very up to date information about prions. Professor Racaniello makes every lecture interesting.
I liked that she really knows what she is talking about and is able to explain complicated things with examples from everyday life.
It is very clearly and enthusiastically explained. You make Biochem easy to understand.
Very good explanations. However, I do think there should be more details, for example, more explanations on pressures.
I really could understand this lecture easily. Even the mid time of lecture gives questions are more helpful for interacting with it.
As a medical student I found this series of lectures on enzymes extremely clarifying. Dr Ahern is a great lecturer. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much It was really useful and helpful
Great Job, I really enjoyed the lectures! very easy to follow!
Very precise and concise, highly recommended to all my friends and colleagues
Thank you Dr.Thad Wilson for this wonderful lectures ! Easy to understand without missing the details of the subjects !
I have paid for the lecturio.de physiology course but did not understand much because it is so badly explained. Here Dr Wilson explains so well, I understood things I was not expecting to understand any time soon. So 5 stars because the concepts well explained; clear slow speech, physical laws explained, and contrasted with diseases. I would love to hear more lessons from you.
Two of the quiz questions are wrong to me, either have multiple answers or incorrect answer.
i will recommend this lecture on this topic because i was failling to undestand but after this tutorial i am confident
Communicates at a good rate and audible tone ,explains concepts well to begginers and intermeddiate level students .Thank you!
I had no background in microbiology and this lecture helped me a lot with closing the gap. Thank you
Very passionate lectures. I learned a lot about the basics of virus
He is very passionate lecturer. His lecture is very engaging and interesting. Thanks for your lecture
Needs more substance. This was barely long enough to be an introduction.
This lecture and the one before are not so well explained. The clamp loader part and the process of semi discontinuous replication need more in depth explanation
it was really helpful, but a bit fast, good details and nice explaining
Easy to understand due to clear explanation and concisely told
It helps very much. Thank You. I will share with my friends.
Good clear concept review. Could use more specifics regarding cyclin and cdks.
I understood perfectly the concepts the way he explained them. He makes it ease to grasp
Very Comprehensive lecture and lecture notes, covering a vast area within 3 to 4 mins
hello, My name is Oscass Jimmy. I love your product and would like to kindly request you to upload us better organised notes and if possible, let us have access to the referenced textbooks you have on this site.
Errmmm I like his beard. It is very hairy, like me!
Very simple and easy to understand. Would definitely recommend this course.
This is an excellent review and update of cardiac physiology.
wonderful lecture by Dr Thad Wilson...........i got a glimpse into the minute details of the topic as a whole..........thank u sir..............
wonderful lecture by Dr Thad Wilson.....thanks to him,,,,,,,,,,,thanks to lecturio.................the topic is well understood.............
nice and excellent lecture ..................found it easy to understand...............................thanks to Dr Thad Wilson for sharing his expertise and knowledge..............................also thank u lecturio
The course is not sufficient in clinical settings. Very theory into research , yet less in diagnosing . Good for a student into research PhD, yet not for students doing medical degree or USMLE.
This is such a confusing topic for me and most professors talk through it rather quickly. I appreciate how he connected the dots in a way that has been much easier to understand than the other lectures I have listened to. This is the only explanation that stuck! Kudos, and thanks a million!
somethings said are not so clear eventhough we can refer books............... In the quiz the na+ k+ atp ase is said to be p type pump..................... but in the lecture it says it is a v type pump........................ i want to know which is right..............................
Structurally complete, however, relatively outdated. Enough for medical study purposes.
Very good keeps on track with my textbook. Taking Intro Bio
I love to use this great app to review my med knowledge!
no words can describe how much this was amazingly useful
great lecture! I still feel the need to fill in the gaps but it has given me an overview of gene regulation
Dr Wilson is very good as a public speaker. He brings just the right amount of humor and he takes complicated topics and makes them easy to understand. I wish there were more practices questions to the quizes.
Dr Racaniello, is good. Easy to understand, good content. This course is hitting all topics in my med school course.
It's very clearly explained and very useful for my studies. I would like it to be a bit more detailed but not too difficult.
l am a pre-med student and after watching this lecture I decided I was definitely subscribing! Everything was explained clearly and I understood the concept completely.
A like this course and lecterio helps me for understanding the concept of this course easily. Really lecturio is place where medical student gets his needed resources. So thanks and keep going that great work for medical
The use of the acid-base box made this topic so easy Thanks
The lectures are clear and concise. Highly recommended to all!
Good material. Dr Thad speaks well breaks down complicated topics that's easy to understand.
Both comprehensive and simple lectures, could use some more medical/clinical correlations, though.
he teaches very well and he is see very clear and straight forward
It is explained in a very clear and concise way. Highly recommend
Dr Georgina is amazing. Thank you for making all these difficult concepts easier for us.
I enjoyed this lecture and it is very clear and easy to understand with this good instructor.
Very well done job. Dr. Vincent is excellent. If someone does not have a better understanding of basic and clinical microbiology is not his fault. He has done all his best to facilitate the concepts in a very clear manner so that everyone can understand. Good job Dr. Vincent.
Finally understood the anion gap!! Thank you! The chart with the green red and blue midgets I found very funny and creative and even if I took this course several months ago, I still remember perfectly the chart because of them!
Dr. Vincent Racantello is a wonderful facilitator. His teaching is very connected to the concepts of the topics. His explanations are very clear. He even takes time to recap when it is necessary so that the learner can stay on right task. I wish I had more available time to invest in his teaching. He really inspires me to push myself a little bit more. Thanks again
Dr. Racaniello is a very good professor. He takes all his time to ensure that his students understand the concepts of the topics. All his feedbacks and examples are very relevant.
He is a very good lecturer and great facilitator of microbiology.
It is fantastic to have a lecturer making a diffucult subject easy. Now i can not wait diving into some hardcore books about enzymes. Watching an inspiring teacher really makes a difference. This guy is also rather fast talking so you dont need to speed up, witch i do quite often. Also the pop quiz in the end just makes it so much more fun. It becomes a game. And thats great and enhances long term memory.
Great couse. Detailed, but made simple. I thought it was very useful and great that there were a bit more questions than what i've seen in some of the previous series i've been watching. I would definently recomend it to others. I study veterinarian medicin, so i would ofcourse have loved it if you also made courses for that, because i still have to study the species differences from my book after watching the series - but it is great that I can get the main principles from your lectures it truly does help a lot.
The course is detailed and the instructor is very systematic with the information.
super fain explicat, usor de inteles mi-am clarificat problemele cu hormonii, enzimele , SNV
Explanation is good but not so detailed. I think it's better to explain more and go deeper on details. Subscribe to this website. Worth it Some parts are good some are not. But in total it's great. Thank you
On the slide about respiratory compensation for metabolic acidosis, the compensation slope with decrease Pco2 level has a PCO2 value of 60 which should be 20. Becauase in respiratory Compensation for MA PCO2 slightly decreases That is just a typo, but can been confusing The lecture itself is very good
He is a great professor. He takes all his time to explain the topics.
well presented. presented in a manner that is easy to follow and understand.
That's so great! The lecture is so simple to understand. Thanks PhD!
Great review for neurophysiology. Simplifies key elements with clear explanations
Presenter explains the medical relevant aspects of S-G disorders in a logical sequence.
Great series on the medically relevant aspects of diseases affected by genetics.
I'd like if you add a specific explanation about the main types of viruses and diseases caused by them like you did with fungi, parassites and bacteria
great and well made, I'd like if you add some quiz even in this section!
Great lectures. The salivary gland part was a bit confusing. Seems to be lacking context.
Very well made, all the important thinghs to say are dealt.
This lecture is spectacular. This is another topic I have struggle with, and here Dr. Wilson has brought absolute clarity. Thanks Dr. Wilson! Thanks Lecturio!!
What I loved the most about this lecture was how Dr. Cornwall actually took her time to explain the concepts discussed, and even used simple analogies to ensure that the information was easier to digest. This is something you find lacking in many professional lectures. Thanks again Dr. Cornwall!
Great but I'd like more type of bacteria and how to treat them
It had been a few years since reviewing enzyme kinematics, this was a great refresher!
Perfect, easy to follow and understand. I would be appreciated if there are more topics about treatment.
I loved the whole course! I finally could understand a topic that is so frustrating for me to understand and also remember in time! Dr Tad is an awesome lecturer! I lo ve the way he explains everything
Loved these lectures! They are all I've hoped for. Profesor Wilson explains everything so well and has helped me a lot so far.
The material as presented is easy to follow and comprehend
Each A/B topic is discussed in a straight forward manner. Teaching aids, such as the use of the "Gnomes", makes the material more digestible, as well as for later recall.
Very informative, concise and well structured lectures which are very helpful in learning physiology.
They were well described lectures and the examples used were easy to understand.
The clarity of the information being delivered is extremely satisfactory! I enjoyed watching this lecture.
Very effective. All money spent is worth it. Highly recommended.
it´s great conference, well explain, clear and simple. like ir a lot
Very good course, it explians well many things, but maybe it cpuld be a little more specific
Very good course, it helps you to understand better the way the heart works by simplifying the contents.
Thank you dr. Georgina Cornwall! Everything was perfectly understood with your lecture!
She spends half an hour explaining the steps of meiosis and doesn't even get into details... I'm not sure how she can manage to explain such simple topics in such a long time (it's half a movie time, for God's sake!). She should base her lectures on Molecular Biology of the Cell, by Bruce Alberts et al., AT A MINIMUM. Lecturio has many excelling lecturers; unfortunately, Dr. Cornwall is not one of them.
Stunning! Explanations are simple and very interesting, wish you all the best professor ????
Every lecture with professor Thad Wilson is awesome! In my opinion, all topics are very well explained because he keeps concepts simple, at the same time that he explains them with the right amount of detail and accuracy. In conclusion, this will be really useful to approve your exams.
The facilitators are very good because they motivate you to learn.
Did good job explaining some of the expected changes, but a poor job at others and simply stated direction of arrow without explanation. Overall, a good lecture but definitely room for more detail to be discussed. Also, very surprised effects of acute blood loss/trauma was not covered.
thanks. the lecture was very informative and concise for such a complicated topic
I've been through almost the whole course, and I found it extremely helpful!
I've been watching through and writing notes your videos til this one (thank you so much for making this easy and understandable while staying on a detailed level that I need for my exams) BUT there's something that wasn't that clear to me. What did you mean on the slide about type 2, where you mentioned Mobitz? Sentence nr2 of the 3 didn't make much sense to me.
Thank you!! Finally understood this after years of studying it over and over again... I can't believe it was so simple!! Thank you so much!
the plot charts are really confusing. takes a few replays to grasp a little.
I felt it lacked detail of specific transporters, and no references to any diseases or drug MOAs. Not very detailed for medical review/test prep.
I enjoyed the breakdown of each intricate part of the system. I feel that I understand pharmacology better, especially digoxin and its effect on the heart.
Lecturer seems to know the material and is able to convey in a manner that is engaging
Lecture was well organized and covered the appropriate level for this topic.
I like the Lecture it explain many things but there are very important thinks haven't been explained like how to knockout some genes by using shRNA or siRNA. I know that you explain CRSPR which is the greatest method ever . But I think is necessary to talk about shRNA, siRNA and what the advantage and disadvantag because everyday in school we here about them and I think they need to coverd in this lecture. Thanks
Not enough material, lacked depth of material covered, questions too obvious, didn't cover all the hormones, and almost no linking to disease states/pathology.
Easy to learn using the box. I always struggled with this, even on my board exam. This box and explanation made it much easier for me as a visual learner.
Crisp, simple, clear, very useful, going into the core basics which allowed me to acquire a good insight into the mechanics of respiration. Thank you, Dr. Wilson, for being so supportive and a kind, good teacher paying attention to concepts spread out in such a phased manner. I am very grateful and humbled.
Don't replace her. Good OVERVIEW/REVIEW of the material at hand. Her pace is good. Her voice and expression and everything else is dynamic and engaging.
I liked this lecture very much because it's helping me in year 7 right now in my science assignment!
Very good teacher! Funny! Great job. I can spend all they long listening to him.
Please replace her. Explanation is very poor, she hesitate a lot, and seems unprepared and unsure. It is confusing and in comparison to a lot of lecturers you have here, the standard is incredibly low!
In my opinion, this course on muscles is good for a review of the most important points of the topic. I couldn't find the striated muscle lecture, there are only smooth muscle lectures here. I think a little bit of more detail could make this course perfect!
I found this course to be very helpful to organize my knowledge about this topic. It also clarified to me some concepts that I had not fully understood in lectures.
Great insights and teaching experience. All medical students need this website to improve their scores, take state exams, and improve their performances. I like this course. Makes me to develop more likeness because of the simple and forthright ppresentation, 100%.
Information are organized very well: all concepts that I have studied on my physiology book in some weeks, are here summarized in short lectures that took me an afternoon to go through it. I would strongly recommend it.
This video was easy to understand. I appreciated how everything was stated in a simple manner. This allowed me to grasp the concept without confusing me. Keep up the good work.
Though it was good. Be patient w/ Imprinting the slides in Prader Willi/Angelman give a good visual of what it is.
The verbal language used is very good to understand and interactive. The diagrams used makes the explanation clearer to learn.
Fantastic lectures and course. I am a critical care nurse and like to review these lectures to refresh my knowledge on topics. These lectures are perfect for remembering heart physiology and gaining a better understanding of some of the more difficult concepts.
These lessons are brilliant enjoyed them so much I have bought some books by Kevin Ahern, PhD the questions at the end also reinforce learning.
I like too much, plz make more high yelid questions with each topics,i appreciate it.
Good lectures, would be more helpful if there are practice questions and further readings. - first year medical student.
very good explanations helped me to understand easily. Recommend watching it.
I love this subject and the professor. Clean explanations and short videos helps me stay focused.
I think if you're looking for a very detailed explanation of the system, I think this video is perfect and it goes at a very good pace too. I only needed an specific amount of information, so I ended up watching a video that was too specific for me to use.
I would like to recommend all the USMLE and other medical exam preparing candidates to go through the Lecturio because the lectures are concise and easy to understand.
Clear and concise, concepts were explained in enough detail and slowly enough to follow.
Good lecturer, though compared to common youtube lectures, most of the material is covered too superficially to really retain much, although the gnome chart was helpful for myself. Future lectures could give just a bit more detail to help the bigger picture ideas stick.
Absolutely fantastic. Very well explained. I retained everything from this lecture.
These lectures (all of medical genetics) was really useful in connecting your knowledge. It is great how general theory is connected to the most important genetic diseases - very useful
it's too summarized & there's not enough questions in the the qbank
It says the essential about the bones structure and function with understandable explanation and examples
very good flow of the concepts... looking forward to other lectures!
This lectures goes through the important prion diseases. It focuses a lot on statistics making the lecture a littler longer that needed. Overall a good lecture if you're not too busy in your studying
This lecture was very organized by introduction and then going into detail with the most important fungi. Made it easy to approach and easy to jump back and forward in lecture if you had a part you wanted to see again
Videos were superb able to knw the concept very well.please upload more videos of individual parasites bacteria & fungus
Great breakdown of these biologically important macromolecules. Amazing detail on presenting each macromolecule and distinguishing polymers, monomers and non polymers.
She is very detailed but yet not overwhelming with the lecture. It's been great help on my bio knowledge.
Not very hard to understand, sometimes a bit too "shallow". However most often very good. Even great.
The lecture is enough detailed so one does not fall behind compared to others who choose to read about this topic. The lecturer speaks slow and calm, and he is very articulate.
Lectures are clear and concise and hit high yield topics for USMLE Step 1.
The visual effects are very good and encouraging. I would definitely recommend it to my colleagues
They are good..But lengthy..I will take take lecturio for my step 2 also
The professor was very knowledgeable and presented the information in a clear and concise manner
Very good course!!
very clear and eazy to understand reccomended to whoever needs to study phisiology
It was very informational , I mean too much statistics about the history. Its really good for a class. But its bit TIME CONSUMING for some one running against time. One should be able to to hit guess the key points for revision. Im sorry, but this is my honest opinion.
blue ,red gnomes ,suoer ,really good lecture, clarified, simplified, nice
The lecture was right on point.was easy to understand.
The images and lecture format are very helpful, but I get very distracted every time this professor mis-speaks or stumbles on the lecture. I'm not sure why the lecture is posted with these errors since they can be confusing when you're learning the material for the first time.
covers everything essential, good overview, easy to follow, relevant info
Professor Racaniello is engaging. He really has made the study of microbiology enjoyable. This is the best Lecturio course I've taken to date. He has captured my interest. I'm looking forward to the more advanced microbiology course that I'll be taking in a couple of weeks. I would also love to see a Lecturio course on the microbiome, which I feel deserves a program of its own. This alone could be a 12 hour course.
Love the fact that the topic is split into bitesize clips and the focus is on understanding first then learning second.
I really enjoy Dr Wilson's lectures. There are concise and high yield. Excellent for viewing over and over again to refresh your memory or drive home concepts.
The acid base box helped me alot and the lecturer is brilliant
This is the basic of physiology , and it is very nicely explainded.
I enjoyed so much the lectures, professor Wilson is very professional and getting all these informations from an expert with such low price membership is defenitley a great deal! I would just suggest to add animations it would make the processes more clear and easy to remember!
Generally good lecture but there are tons of typos everywhere on the slides for cardiac physiology and I'm pretty sure he misspeaks occasionally. Make sure you use another resource to fact check
The Dr Georgina did it very well she know detail about the subject matter andinet did not express about her and execelentroll model for me!
Information is too general and More review questions would be nice
Highly educational lectures from a very charismatic lecturer. I liked it very much!
It doesn't have any material about bacterial classification , bacteriophage , antibiotics , bacterial resistance to chemotherapy ....
Good clear. Covered high yield concepts. The professor uses good visuals but they equations could be refined (e.g., all fractions written top and bottom)
Simple, easy to understand diagrams and an EXCELLENT lecturer! Easy to follow and very dynamic and fun. I've enjoyed watching all of these lectures. Covers a great deal of content.
Nice and systematically explained. Good job! Gives me a good understanding
Very good explanation and notes and diagrams. Dr has good quality teaching .
Excellent. The explanation is clear and concise and so are the graphics which with he explains. Wish I had this when i was taking physiology courses (in comparison to now that I am using it to review for the equivalency exam in Spain). USE IT.
I like the way the instructor presents the material , and the examples she uses.
It cleared my mind about bacteria and it's morphological properties & distinguishments etc. Awesome! Thank you!
The lecture covered everything I needed to know for my upcoming test. I feel so much more prepared now!
This is professor is really good at explaining concepts and is thorough with getting caught up in the details
Good job explaining the basic physiological concepts and used clear diagrams and images. Good visuals combined with clear, effective lecturing is key
Dr. Cornwall is a good teacher. However the topics move quickly. This is great for biology majors needing a refresher. But for me it is helpful to take a second to restate an important concept or give context on what this process will impact in the future lessons. Helps the listener to remember it when you give it some context.
Dr. Wilson does an excellent job in breaking down concepts of acid-base balance in the body and making it plain. He also provides some additional tricks/tools that you may not get in your regular lectures, but will definitely help on an exam. These lectures are top notch, just excellent!
Very clear and dynamic conference. It is really appreciated. Thank you Dr.
Informative lecture, was going a little bit too fast but repeating the video helped.
Explains tricky concepts in a very basic manner. Would def recomend
Incredibly clear, natural lecture style. Excellent companion to my textbook.
Well, I love the way Dr. G explains, however, the lecture on cell control wasn't the best and needed more explanations and needed to be more simplified . I put five stars because Dr. G has helped me a lot and made Biology a fun course.
the lecture was way to short. The information was very general. Please make the lectures more detailed and more interactive..maybe actual drawings being drawn as the lecturer is explaining. Also to specify on the detailed part which i mentioned, it would be much better if he explained each neurotransmitter.
This course really helped me understand the cellular structure, I learnt more from one of the 20 minute lectures, than I did in a 3 hour lecture at university, so these really help!
Thanks for the efforts but I think It is more like reading slides not explaining.
Dr. Wilson explains complex concepts clearly and the slides are simple and not cluttered.
Good and clear explanation, Dr. G makes it fun to learn biology.
A very clear understanding of the basic concepts was developed by Kevin. Good examples and perfect illustrations made everything so easy and interesting.
very clear Explanation; I managed to understand mechanism for each type of Ihnibitors thus I can now draw the lineweaver plots.
Lectures are well presented. however, this does not completely cover medical microbiolgy syllabus necessary to sit examinations for medical students
The course didn't deliver the main message I was searching for. I hoped to find a more concise and direct material for each topic. The Genetic Course did not help at all for what I was searching. I was hoping for high-yield topics and a more direct delivery of the material. We have too little time.
Another excellent series that makes complex material approachable. Great instructor and great charisma. I tell everyone at pa school to use this system to really learn the why's and how's that we occasionally skip.
Great constructive instruction at a understandable medical level thank you! Thelma Boshoff
I really love his lectures!!! Profesor Racaniello is so funny and explains everything so carefully that I get so interested in every single video. Thank you!!!
Very good overview of cardiac physiology. Explained many concepts very clearly!
Very good explnation ! very easy to understand. I like Acide-Base toolbox. Many thanks :)
Everything was nicely explained. The necessary amount of detail was included. When I read a pulmonary physiology text I can understand! Thank you so much! make more videos!
Really thank you Dr.Thad Wilson Appreciate this great job .. i had a problem with lung physiology but know i got it .. thank you from my heart
great, clear and fruitful intro to physiology course. I'm excited to move ahead.
i liked how clear and straight forward the material is presented! Some topics are a bit brief and could have gone more in depth. I would highly recommend these lectures.
The graph and animiation quality is very bad and confusing some times.
Some parts that the instructor was going through were not gone into depth when they should have and some parts should have their own video.
This course has taught alot of things I didn't know, as well as highlited things that are obviously High Yield. The teachings are very simplistic and make things easy to understand. This would be a great product for any IMG such as myself.
It is very good, I like the power point slides and picture etc.
Dr. Wilson is very clear slow enough yet very focused and has concern with the understanding of the learner. He is super and goes to demonstrate as an example that fast-talking is not necessarily better.
Just an introductory lecture on any course enkindles a burning zeal to learn more. It is a perfect review lecture on the go and a better way to have fun while learning. A perfect definition of concise learning in a limited period.
Like the way Dr. Wilson teaches, but I wish he will integrate across disciplines like biochemistry, genetics, pathology, and more importantly, pharmacology. I will pay more if that is what it takes.
I like it a lot. Good review. The slides for mitosis is the wrong one, ie different lecture notes
It helped me understand the concepts. I suggest you to try it too.
Super clear lectures, covering all of the basics you need for the mcat. Speaks a little slowly, but nothing that the 1.5x button can't fix.
He really slows it down and simplifies a topic ive always had so much confusion about. Thanks Dr. Wilson!
The pictures could havebeen animated to give abetter showing of how the process flows, insead of still pictures like a textbook
Outstanding overview of general principles. Should be model for all lectures.
I'm currently taking Microbiology and Lab. It is nice to be able to catch another lecture. The Lecturio lectures are actually more informative than the classroom. I am pleased with what I have learned and I know I will get the better grade.
Impressed by the knowledge of the presenter. However, had a feeling that she was asked to push/rush through some of the concepts in minimum possible hrs. Seems like some concepts needed more time to explain. Overall, I loved this series.
Hello nice lectures but transport mecanism is no where to be found - sodium potassium pump - primary and secondary active transport - simple and facilitated diffusion -voltage gating and chemical (ligand) gating channels
As in most courses in physiology, I think many concepts in this course require more elaborate explanation; probably with simple animations/illustrations that make learning and retention easier.
i would recommend this course to , he goes straight to the point.
The contents are very good, I wish I can share with my student easier.
Everything is clearly explained and it makes it simple to learn.
Well organized. Unlike some other courses the quiz questions come after the instructor has mentioned the subject.
Never thought I would enjoy listening and learning about microbes so much that I do when Im listening to and taking notes on these lectures..
Very detailed professionally done and covers all the bases including pathogenesis and epidemiology
I enjoy watching these lectures.. it doesn't bore me as a class lecture:P
Used for the study in chiropractic school, need a quiz for review the material that is learned by the videos.
Accurate, slow enough to understand, and he gives concrete examples that clarify each concept. Keep it coming.
Learned few new things which i did not knew before. Thanks Dr. Wilson
Not exactly what I've expected but not bad at all!
Great information! Easily to understand and covers a lot of necessary content, thanks Prof. Wilson
I was going to cancel my subscription as I felt the material did not relate to whats high yield for USMLE step one exam. Watching this lecture renewed my interest in the lecture series.
Excellent explanation! The graphics are great and the professor is amazing.
very informative and the visual aids are well presented hope you will include topics in the usmle 2 also...
It is very informative ang well discussed i hope that you will released also topics that covers USMLE2
Greatly enjoyed this series of videos with Prof. Wilson; his explanations are clear, straightforward and explain essential concepts while avoiding some of the more unusual/obscure details that tend to clutter up most textbooks. Particularly enjoyed the section on the Gastrointestinal system, (which I was having a great deal of trouble unravelling), which laid out the different areas in a functional style that was much easier to comprehend. Would enjoy seeing more Physiology videos in the future. I'd recommend these to med-students like myself or to anyone in the allied health professions; (you can always skip some sections if you need less detail).
This is fun. I wish they were an accredited school. But they are good for prep.
