    00:01 Cranial nerve IV, or the trochlear nerve is also going to have nuclei back in the midbrain.

    00:08 But it's going to have a strange path, it's going to actually cross over somewhere in the midbrain before it emerges.

    00:16 So it's actually going to have an emergence on the opposite side where its nucleus was.

    00:21 It's also going to open on the posterior aspect of the brainstem unlike these other cranial nerves, so that's going to give it a very long course.

    00:33 It's going to go through the lateral walls of the cavernous sinus as well.

    00:37 And then through the superior orbital fissure, but it's going to go external to that common tenderness ring at the back of the orbit.

    00:45 Before it innervates the superior oblique muscle.
