A nice video
By Diego D. on 29. March 2024 for pKa and Drug Solubility – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
the lesson is properly given, but requires a previous base, which must be checked back in books, even that is a useful video and the content is clear enough .
Clear explanation
By Augusto Cesar N. on 11. October 2023 for Drug Distribution – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
Clear explanation, and also the professor answers the questions clearly and fast in the forum !
So useful
By Jordi B. on 14. February 2023 for Dose-Response, Binding, Quantal, Toxicity & Potency Curves – Pharmacodynamics
At first I didn't understand what the ED50 meant but I see the comment below. You made it so easy to understand. Thank you so much
Please explain than mnemonic
By Melisah I. on 21. December 2021 for pKa and Drug Solubility – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
Rather than giving us mnemonic, I'd rather had him explained. I had to go to Youtube to find out what this means and it took me a lot of time.
Really easy to understand
By Luis H. on 17. February 2021 for Dose-Response, Binding, Quantal, Toxicity & Potency Curves – Pharmacodynamics
I like the lecture because is easy to understand, the use of examples are really helpful.
Amazing lecture!
By Tiffany J. on 11. November 2020 for Drug Distribution – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
Definitely enjoyed this lecture. Concepts were concise making it really easy to follow. I enjoyed actually practicing the case study questions as it tested my understanding of the topic
Thank you

So easy to learn, this classes need more diffusion, thank you.
Simply Perfect

I love the course, it's easy to learn and to understand
Very helpful primer on CYP and PGP issues.
By Matt M. on 19. April 2020 for Factors Affecting Drug Metabolism – Biotransformation | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
This is a great overview of CYP and PGP issues. Drug biotransformation is a very complex topic and this is an excellent primer on some key issues. I hope to see more like this.
tiring and confusing
By Haleema S. on 24. March 2020 for pKa and Drug Solubility – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
sorry to say it is really not well explained or concept clearing kindly modify lecture
Very clean awesome lecture
By Sand T. on 24. March 2020 for Phases of Drug Development – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
Very clean and understandable lecture with charts and perfect voice of the lecture
Illuminating
By Varvara K. on 28. August 2019 for pKa and Drug Solubility – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
I found this lecture illuminating.
I think adding an image might help to clarify the solubility issue:
AH can diffuse through lipid bilayer, but is less soluble in water, so would become "trapped" in urine, and the inverse for bases: B form being soluble in lipids, but not in water.
Thank you for the great lecture!
Difficult concept - needs more thorough explanation
By Lane S. on 07. June 2019 for pKa and Drug Solubility – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
Dr. Shukle, I really struggled in applying the information from this lecture to the quiz. You have been great otherwise!
makes no sense
By karma sonam p. on 15. January 2019 for pKa and Drug Solubility – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
very confusing explaination. he didnt exaplin the concept properly such that we can grasp it.
pls try to explain the concept properly
Great courses

Lecturio is Awesome! I am not a student but all the material I have been through so far is of HIGH quality! My best investment ever!
Nice and simplified
By Josefine C. on 25. December 2018 for Dose-Response, Binding, Quantal, Toxicity & Potency Curves – Pharmacodynamics
Excellent. I had no problem answering the folkow up questions.
I've read about most of these concepts during a biochemistry course I followed earlier, which probably made it easier for me to understand interpretation of the curves in this video.
Gives a good overview, so thanks!
Sincerely,
A Danish medical student
Good lecture
By Shannon R. on 29. November 2018 for Dose-Response, Binding, Quantal, Toxicity & Potency Curves – Pharmacodynamics
Good Lecture, the curves were well explained. Wish they talked about Chirality a little bit:)
Great lectures

Best pharmacology classes! Love the questions in between the lecture!
Great Lecture
By Moris S. on 04. January 2018 for Hydrophilic vs. Hydrophobic – Absorption and Distribution | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
I really wanted to give it 5 stars specially because of the question pertaining to Fick' s law that was included, however the fact that Sir didn' t mention that all forms of diffusion are passive and the word Diffusion itself means being randomised made me give this 4 stars only.
AMAZING! CONCISE AND VERY SUBSTANTIAL
By Gerardo G. on 02. October 2017 for Introduction and Definitions of Pharmacodynamics – Pharmacodynamics
5 STARS TO DR SHUKLE
Because
1. He speaks clear American English.
2. Lectures are very visual, concise and substantial.
3. He behaves and dresses very professionally.
5. You learn a lot in little time with quizzes between lectures.
6. It's so much fun and easy.
Highly recomended
By Amir W. on 01. October 2017 for Introduction to Kinetics | Pharmacokinetics (PK)
perfect !!
i really liked the intro, but there is still some problem with questions..
not your best video :/
By Amir W. on 01. October 2017 for Dose-Response, Binding, Quantal, Toxicity & Potency Curves – Pharmacodynamics
the lecture could be better it was hard to understand all the curves.. and the answer for the
question was not so clear
the lecture need to be more clarified
By ahmad h. on 16. September 2017 for Dose-Response, Binding, Quantal, Toxicity & Potency Curves – Pharmacodynamics
i think the topics of the lecture is not easy and it has a lot of new terms those need to be clarified more clearly
Not super helpful.
By Kathryn B. on 03. September 2017 for Dose-Response, Binding, Quantal, Toxicity & Potency Curves – Pharmacodynamics
Too vague; I got the same basic information/presentation out of lecture. I was hoping for more clarification in these videos on topics like dose-response curves.
not bad
