    00:00 Movement of the trunk is very much dictated by the function of these muscles.

    00:05 And it's important just to remember very basic what this movement is.

    00:08 So lateral bending very much standing in an upright position.

    00:11 Moving to the left, moving to the right, we have lateral bending, flexion, and extension.

    00:16 So extension is when we are moving our head, posterior, extend it backwards.

    00:21 And flexion is when we tried to decrease the distance between our head and our lower limb region.

    00:27 And we have flexion of the trunk.

    00:30 Rotation very much dictated by some of the muscles, specifically transverse abdominis.

    00:34 We can rotate in either direction by contraction of these muscles.
