Understanding disorders of the biliary tract is essential for medical students, as they play a significant role in clinical practice and are frequently tested on exams like the United States Medical Licensing Examination. This course explores the pathology and clinical aspects of biliary tract disorders, encompassing conditions like cholelithiasis and cholecystitis. A solid understanding of these disorders is crucial for both exam success and providing effective patient care, particularly in gastroenterology, hepatology, and surgery.
