    00:00 So let's wrap up this video series. The function of the diaphragm can be impacted by trauma, medications or nerve damage. Now neuromuscular blocking drugs, NMBs, they paralyze the diaphragm and the patient is not able to breathe unassisted. Complications from trauma to the diaphragm include herniation, diaphragmatic paralysis, and are often accompanied by pulmonary complications. Thank you for watching our video today.
