    00:00 So, let's wrap up this video series.

    00:02 Most gallbladders are removed with a laparoscopic surgery and many of the patients do not even have to stay overnight in the hospital.

    00:10 That's amazing to me. Patients with more complicated variables will require an open or incisional cholecystectomy which requires a longer time to recover.

    00:20 Now, supportive care such as pain control, management of nausea and vomiting, watching for signs of infection, or bile leakage, are priorities postprocedure and postoperatively.
