The parts that the lecturer points to are not marked/pointed at/ highlighted in the video. Thus students (like myself) get lost and dont know what (part of the image) the lecturer is specifically talking about. This comments refers to all this series about the male sexual organ.

Great course! I will recommend it to all of my peers. I love that the speaker speaks clearly and slowly, although the pace becomes a normal conversational pace at 1.25x speed. This allows me to go through the content that is easy for me to understand quickly (at 1.25x to 1.5x speed) while I go through more difficult content at a slower pace (1.0x speed) without having the speak sound like he was drunk (0.75x to 0.5x speed).

Too inprecise In the lecture You should point out exactly the structures This doesnt help for exams.

Se entiende la información pero no me termina de gustar como se explica, me gusta que relaciones con conceptos con otras cosas para poder entender porque algo funciona de tal o de cual manera que den ejemplos.

Generally I love Lecturio, so I’ll definitely extend my membership. The video was good and straight to the point but not as conceptual and easy to commit to memory. Maybe a few mnemonic could be incorporated into videos to help with easy retention

I never imagined these lectures could be that helpful.I was honestly so bad at pharmacology before but then i could really see a big change. The videos were interesting and since the videos are not lengthy its easier for me to focus on certain topics and go hand in hand with my usmle first add book Really thankful for this platform.

It didn't cover the majorof the most important things ,and it hard to keep on focusing _for me at lest _.

I chose this rating because I understood the topic easily, thanks to the clear explanations and the organization of the topics

sir,you made me understand the reproductive pharmacology in a shorter time.I have never got them this clear so far from books.I recommend this lecture to every medical student before they pratice and prescribe them foziya kashmir

I think that anatomy courses miss the cadaver oriented pictures and lectures

Well Dr. James gave a nice explanations on Pelvis but I wasn't able to supplement the lecture with enough clarity on different spaces/fossa within the pelvis and I found the set of questions after lecture were from the subsequent lecture not the lecture viewed.

i appreciated how the lecturer helped me visualized the broad ligament by comparing it to a sheet. i also like how he emphasizes important points by repeating them

I really like it, the simplified images makes it quite easy to understand and the slides are well explained. Reasons are given on why the slides look the way they are and how they might appear different from what they really are.

Dr Pickering is an excellent lecturer who makes anatomy interesting and memorable despite the number of details presented.

Why does this lecture start with a reference to something else if it is an Introduction?

I've previously used the Grey's student to learn about the pelvis and perineum. Despite all the information provided I was unable to visualize and understand the placement of structures. This video explains and shows very clearly the relationship of the muscles and organs in the pelvis with the perineum. Another amazing lecture.

Excellent summary of the anatomy, broken down into logical, easy to digest pieces. The questions where well spaced and relevant, providing good consolidation of key points.

I would recommend this lecture to someone who has a rough idea of thoracic anatomy as well. This lecture was easy to follow and it made me understand the subject much better.

Love the lectures, especially during COVID since we don’t have access to the anatomy lab. I love the way the pelvis is explained, and all high yield concepts are highlighted for female and male pelvis. Highly recommend watching all 53 videos!

The video episodes are way too short, need to go back and start over every 3-4 minutes. I think there should be a option to view the topic in one full video. Otherwise the subjects are well covered in an understandable manner. Many thanks

The anatomy is detailed and yet very relevant. He knows how to explain it in a very concise way. I really enjoyed the free courses available. I know others are locked cause I have to purchase them but this was so great! His accent sort of stresses the main points too!

Flow diagrams are great visuals to understand concepts. The lecture was clear and concise.

Dr. Pickering is simply outstanding. He speaks in such a clear and objective way that makes even the learning of the anatomy of the pelvis easy ????. It’s been a pleasure to, so far, having watched his lectures on Pelvis. Simply fantastic. I’d recommend it to anyone interested in having a deeply-enough knowledge in Pelvis when it comes to general medical sciences.

I felt like someone read me a text loudly. It would be much better, if you try to show or point what structure you are talking about. In this way, everything stay as complicated as I read textbook.

Its a good lecture but histology is complicated and I wish they would use arrows to point at structures he is talking about instead of just saying look at the right hand side. Or at least put in more labels.

Dr. Pickering is one of my favorite instructors on Lecturio! He's always clear and concise; while not leaving anything overlooked. My university professor nervously breezed through this material due to the nature of these topics, which left most of us confused and irritated. More jokes then learning. I was really only able to understand via this lecture series. I'm truly grateful Lecturio exists and I feel so much more confident heading into my examination.

Although the lecture content is good. This speaker frequently uses inappropriate sentence structure and phrasing. The result is certain sentences, when spoken, become confusing even though their content is simple. For example...Lets talk about how the placenta and its roles in helping the fetus develop. The sentence makes sense when you read it in the script without having listened to it. However, in the mini-lecture, it was read without pauses or breaks that clarified the emphasis of the sentence. it should have been read as: For example...Lets talk about how the placenta, and its roles in helping the fetus, develop. I know the speaker is likely reading a script, but it happens frequently where his enunciation or sentence delivery does not match the context of sentence. This adds a certain layer of listener confusion which delays the rate at which an individual is progressing through each mini-lecture (4-min lecture becomes 7-minutes). This happens frequently with this speaker and is not a huge deal, until you are forced to listen to all of the physiology lectures, and then become agitated.

I actually disagree with the above. Definitely really easy to follow, especially with the colour changes on the diagrams. It is, after all, an anatomy lecture and he teaches in a way that does allow you to think contextually for yourself without being super explicit about it. Thanks James

This was a great addendum to my anatomy book and Guyton. I often flip to Lecturio when I am tired of reading and need things put to me straight and simply.

Concise, and easy to understand! I feel much more confident now after going through the videos for this exam.

Dr. James' explanation was very clear. The pictures in the lecture could have been a bit bigger but overall it was delivered very well.

the course is histology the guy should at least point to stuff on the histological slides instead of just using a powerpoint. very basic level

Great lecturer who is very knowledgeable about the subject matter & pitch. Pace is also good but needs to work on pronunciation of certain words. keep up the good job.

very usefull, i sugest a previous study for those who need more details, i think this is a very usefull tool to help you to undertand what you read in books

multiply things go unexplained... for example, he did not even explain what is the pelvic floor, or what is the pelvic diaphragm, but he quoted it several times.... bad class

Good but not perfect regarding figures and histological slides. I expect more visualized explanation to understand structures than verbal or written explanation

Concise yet fill with high yield information. I hope that the other lectures are similar to this one.

He did an excellent job in explaining the major classes of drugs. He missed a few drugs that were listed in the First Aid 2017 book.

It is good but still needs to be improved. For exsampel if the teachers used the 3D figurs to explain, lecturs would be more cleare. Sometimes only picturs are not enough.

Very clear explanations. Areas being discussed are highlighted for visualization. Very thorough. Thank you! Wish you had a video on perineal fascia (colle's, buck's, dartos...) and urine extravasation. Please consider!

My teacher just used Netter pics and said good luck but Dr. Pickering made it approachable and effective by going through each section and giving clear and effective explanation to complex matters.

i liked how clear and straight forward the material is presented! Some topics are a bit brief and could have gone more in depth. I would highly recommend these lectures.
