Thyroid Gland Disorders

by Carlo Raj, MD

Thyroid disease can be due to either excess hormone production (hyperthyroidism) or hormone deficiency (hypothyroidism), each resulting in characteristic signs and symptoms. Laboratory evaluation that includes a TSH level and free T4 level is the first line in evaluation of suspected thyroid disorders. These disorders are incredibly common, with thyroid nodules arising often in family medicine. They can affect infants and fetuses as well, so they are also important to understand in pediatrics.

A lot of room for improvement.
By Renan A. on 21. December 2020 for Euthyroid Hypothyroxinemia – Euthyroid Conditions

Dr. Raj speed in speaking distracts me and make following him very difficult. Very poor usage of schematics and a lot of text in his presentations.
