00:00 So let's wrap up this video series. 00:03 Patients with cirrhosis have a complicated hemostatic system that is fragile and ever-changing. 00:10 Patients with cirrhosis are at risk for both clots, thrombi, and spontaneous bleeding. 00:16 PT/INR is of much less value in predicting bleeding risk in patients with cirrhosis than it is for a patient without liver disease. 00:25 Coagulation changes in cirrhosis make the traditional test like the INR, aPTT, bleeding time in the platelet count imprecise and predicting a patient's risk of bleeding. 00:36 Thanks for watching our video series today.
