Pituitary and Hypothalamic Disorders

Pituitary and Hypothalamic Disorders

by Michael Lazarus, MD

Pituitary and hypothalamic disorders encompass maladies that affect either the pituitary or hypothalamus. These endocrine disorders have a very distinctive set of clinical findings, brought about by an excess or lack of hormonal secretion.

In this course, the student will be introduced to the most common pituitary and hypothalamic disorders seen in clinical practice.

For optimal comprehension, the student is required to have preliminary knowledge of the histology, physiology, and pathology of the pituitary gland and hypothalamus.

Very good resource.
By Vincent B. on 29. October 2022 for Pituitary and Hypothalamic Disorders

Lecturio displays a concise presentation of the most relevant aspects of a wide variety of subjects. Videos contain images for illustration and better understanding as well as quiz questions. Lectures are high-yield and seldom need supplementation of information. Fit for USMLE and PLAB, and offers good value for money - there’s so much to like. There’s however, the lack of clarity of images on a paused screen and only about 20% of the content is currently free.
