Pediatric Infectious Diseases (Rush PA - Pediatrics I)

I like the series presented by Dr. Fisher. I love his explanation because it help stick material better when you understand why are we doing certain steps. Thank you Dr. Fisher.

This lecture was extremely superficial. Serology is not discussed and neither the nuances of treatment of the pregnant patient. Cerebral and ocular forms of toxoplasmosis were also skipped. You need to get a physician specializing in Famliy Medicine to give this leture.

Everything that he did needs to be redone in my opinion. Any other resource is better than this.

I particularly liked the remarks on Lyme disease as I live in Europe. I would have liked more comments regarding the bacteria carrying the disease (B. burgdoferi) and the mechanism of action of the antibiotics.

Excellent lecture. Really helps to dispel all the myths around M. pneumoniae. It does really seems like management is going to change in the upcoming years regarding this disease.

Excellent lecture as usual from a master teacher. The most important points about management are highlighted. It would have been great to hear the teacher's opinion about PO vs IV treatment, indications of drainage in case of empyema/abscess. Otherwise, I particularly liked the part about which vaccinations, why they are preventing pneumonia. Very well stressed I think. I'm going to use this when discussing with parents.

I would like subtitles in spanish in the lecture. The automated subtitles are mistranslated. However Dr. Brian Alverson is very clear in his explanations !

I wish you would have gone into more detail with chickenpox. I know it might not be as common in the US but a lot of people use lecturio for other international tests and chickenpox is still a big deal here (both in clinical practice and licensing exams)
