Pancreatic Disease and Diabetes

by Carlo Raj, MD

Pancreatic disease is subdivided broadly into neoplasms and exocrine dysfunction. Neoplasms of the pancreas may include adenocarcinomas and neuroendocrine tumors such as gastrinomas or VIPomas. These tumors cause various pathologic presentations because of the biologic behavior of tumoral cells. The topic of exocrine dysfunction of the pancreas focuses mainly on diabetes and the sequelae of insulin deficiency or resistance. This is called diabetes mellitus and is a very common chronic disease with devastating long-term consequences. Early detection and prevention of diabetes is paramount to preventing significant morbidity and mortality, and a deep understanding of the various treatment agents will serve you well in your career. This course covers all of these topics and more.

I liked patho lectures the most . His highlighting points too good . The way he put high yield point into your brain mind blowing. Ithers needs to work on that .? I personally doubt other lectures time wasting . They teach erratically . Not systemised . I’m sorry don’t mind . Dr Raj ????????????
