The lecture went a little fast for me, but it was OK. The problem I had was that the mobile app would interrupt the lecture with quizzes on the material before the instructor taught it. Is this intentional? I found it very frustrating.

The lecturer speaks clearly and is engaging. The material is presented quite well - in a logical manner. I feel the material could go in a bit more depth (but perhaps later lectures will). I would probably give this series 5 stars, however, I'm currently studying for the USMLE, and I feel half or more of the review questions are extremely low-yield. For example, there are questions about which section of a plant does a specific fungus infect. That's okay to test understanding of the lecture material presented, but I don't want to have that type of question included in my "Spaced Repetition" for memorization. It's a real waste of my limited time and brain space. Please ither remove the low-yield questions, or perhaps a better (and faster) option would be to add an option to turn off the "dumb" questions.

This classes are so much fun! I remember know thing that I though I forgot, she helps with the analogies and the fun, i really like her as a theacher. Wonderfull job, and thank you!

I've taken classes from Dr. Racaniello previously on the coursera.org platform. He is a very engaging instructor and he is no different in this Lecturi series, at least for the free part. As a citizen scientist, the full cost is too much so for this series I can only comment on the bacteria sections that are free. The quiz questions are very relevant to the material presented and the reference material is equally good.

Its apt for 2nd yrs....simple and all main points are given.

Dear Pravin Shukle, Thank you and thanks to Lecturio. I am writting from Turkey. Accorrding to the sistem here after 6years of medical school training we take an exam(TUS) in order to be able to continue specialization in diferent branch of medicine. Most of the questions in that exam were about points you emphasized on your lecture.

Thanks for the lecture, but I have a question regarding gram + bacterias, isn't Neisseria Gonorrhea the flora that causes gonorrhea ? to my knowledge it's a diplococcus and it's gram-negative, does it means that penicillins are also like similar in action just like cephalosporins especially the third generational ones?

Well-designed and informative I would recommend that the quiz questions can be more effective. For example, some answers are just memorizing names or some details that are only noted orally for few seconds.

I have greatly enjoyed watching Dr. Shukle’s lectures. They are short but with tons of info that makes the subject so much easier to understand. It cleared up so many things for me. Thank you Dr. Shukle!

I'm studying for step 1, but this professor is much more in-depth and relates the meds to possible questions. rather than just reading from a slide.

The vedios don't cover many important aspects such as cultures , serology etc. Every topic is over summarised and isn't very good for concept building

She breaks it down and I absolutely love it. I got 100% on my last pathopharm quiz bc of this video. I use it as a supplement to my textbook and PowerPoint. Can’t wait for them to add more nursing courses. Will definitely be get a subscription once it’s all available.

All lectures are brief and to the point . The lecturer uses examples to help reinforce important points about the drugs. He uses humour to keep the lecture interesting and engaging. I would recommend this to everyone as their go -to pharmacology tutorial course.

Dr. Shukle has a great tone and lays emphasis on what's considered high yield for exam. I like examination oriented lecturers who constantly open your eyes to those things that are frequently tested.

I would like to recommend all the USMLE and other medical exam preparing candidates to go through the Lecturio because the lectures are concise and easy to understand.

This is in my opinion the perfect way of building up lectures: Starting out with introduction to all different groups. Followed by details in all groups and ending with questions, so that you are sure you can use the knowledge you have just gained.

Videos were superb able to knw the concept very well.please upload more videos of individual parasites bacteria & fungus

Professor Racaniello is engaging. He really has made the study of microbiology enjoyable. This is the best Lecturio course I've taken to date. He has captured my interest. I'm looking forward to the more advanced microbiology course that I'll be taking in a couple of weeks. I would also love to see a Lecturio course on the microbiome, which I feel deserves a program of its own. This alone could be a 12 hour course.

Super clear lectures, covering all of the basics you need for the mcat. Speaks a little slowly, but nothing that the 1.5x button can't fix.

I'm currently taking Microbiology and Lab. It is nice to be able to catch another lecture. The Lecturio lectures are actually more informative than the classroom. I am pleased with what I have learned and I know I will get the better grade.

Everything is clearly explained and it makes it simple to learn.

I enjoy watching these lectures.. it doesn't bore me as a class lecture:P
