Lymphadenopathy – White Blood Cell Pathology (WBC)

by Carlo Raj, MD

Lymphadenopathy is characterized by lymph node swelling that may be secondary to infection, autoimmune disease, or malignancy. Lymphoproliferative disorders such as hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis can also manifest with the enlargement of lymph nodes. A thorough history and physical examination are crucial for the diagnosis of lymphadenopathy. Often, further testing, such as radiologic imaging and tissue examination, are necessary as well.

By Alaena A. on 28. September 2022 for Lymphadenopathy: Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) – White Blood Cell Pathology

It would be more helpful if the slides had the comparisons between NHL and HL.
