The best thing about Dr Raj is that his way of teaching is very dynamic and this keeps you in the lecture and makes you stay focused during the lecture. He is an excellent guy. I don't like plain and simple lectures, they are very boring. Also after I listened to his lectures, I don't just memorize, I learn. Best regards

All the HTN lectures were clear and concise. The concepts were made digestible and easy to recall during exams. For me, I found them helpful while reviewing my lectures.

I think that this is the kind of teacher that every med school should have. Personally, I like how he integrates all the information that it is given across the whole carrer. As a fifth year student from another country I would like that every class of lecturio be like the classes of Dr. Raj. Seriously, the integration is everything when you are in a rotation in front of a patient.

The content is mediocre and he patronizes the listener; if he cut out the condescension and focused on teaching it could be improved. I see why they add some talk over portions with another speaker.

His unique style keeps my mind engaged. He reinforces other concepts and paints a picture of the clinical presentation.

I have really been enjoying Hypertension course, in particular the Pathophys! It has been answering my previous dilemmas in the topic. For example, this 49 yo male diagnosed with HTN 2 yrs ago, previously had no chronic illness, was screened negative for Diabetes. His GP initiated him on Captopril and Bendrofluethiazide , now currently on Captopril 25 mg BD and Bendrofluethiazide 5mg, but his average BP has ever been around 152/100 mmHg. He has been struggling with weight control (BMI 31 or slightly above). I have been contemplating it is not a good control, and 2 days ago he called me complaining of visual impairment both eyes! Now I am thinking of Secondary HTN with Atherosclerosis as a Differential , oh again and a need for complete eye exam including Fondoscopy, again thinking ECG, Lipid panel and Renal Function test would be beneficial!. He have never done these tests because of affordability issue. ALL THE THOUGHT ABOVE COMES FROM MY CURRENT HYPERTENSION COURSE. BUT MOSTLY AN OPPORTUNITY OF FREE ACCESS TO PREMIUM CONTENT! I do not have a major problem with the material he teaches, although sometimes he just points out to the facts and skips explanations. My major issue is with the overall demeanor of Dr. Raj while he is teaching. He tries to come across as someone cool and the George Clooney of the lecturio and it's very annoying and distracting. At least for me. For those who haven't noticed, look at his facial expression when delivering a lecture. I wish he would just lecture plane and simple without resorting to " hey you know I'm cool, right?". I try not to look at him and just stare at the slides to minimize this effect.

Yes, he's a talker and somethings lose himself in the lecture. You have to be focus in every single word for understand him and you still will be lost sometimes. But it's good and brings to you a great learn

I am studying for step one and I can honestly say, you have to be at a higher intellectual level to appreciate the teaching style of Dr. Raj. if one focus and pay attention to his content, one will surley pass step 1. remember the boards are not organized notes, its absolute integration. what dr raj does is golden

Why is everything all over the place, Im not trying to have a conversation, jumping from place to place just makes me confused. Im not against joking in between but keep it in between. Im not having a monologue here, Im trying to understand and remember a concept that I dont know, Im not discussing something I already know. You cant deliever symptoms like a story, they need to be seperated so it gets organized in my head. Need structure.

This course was great overall. Dr. Raj is very passionate when he teaches.

This lecturer no matter what lecture he's doing is always a little all over the place- it's hard to follow alot of the times. The whole point of paying for lecturio is to get high yield information understood - not to end up more confused. What's more frustrating is this particular lecturer has done alot of lectures on so many topics...

He speaks very, very fast and uncoherent. However what he is saying is gold so you get alot of information in a short amount of time. Just make sure you note like a madman and you will be fine.

Great explanation of the topics, and sometimes funny, I don't get bored with this presentation.

Please, remove these videos. Hate the "are you gettin' it" ..."welcome to ...."... "do you remember". Looks like a monologue. Really, I think that I wasted my money. I'll try watching another videos. But I can't deal with this guy. No mental-order at all when talkink.

Great explanation, simple but effective. I just watch videos in hypertension in cardiology playlist. When the quiz pop up, I answer them all ????% correctly. What does that mean? The explanation in the video is easy to remember. Really, if I have money, I wanna subscribe for 1 year and watch all the video. Thank you for the great lecture, Lecturio. From Indonesia

He is very good but for his accent. He made the topic very simple, Although the questions at the end does not reflect exam pattern of questions.

Lecturer can't seem to deliver a coherent sentence, jumps around in his delivery. Did not make clear that in emergency situation reduction in BP should be no more than 25%.

One of the greatest lecturers I even had the pleasure of listening to. I love listening to this guy.

good summary for HTN, BUT I found a big difference with NHS guidelines for treatment of HTN Here you mentioned that thiazides are the first choice but there ACEIs or CCB is the first and best choice to start treatment of HTN

This is the first time that I have a lecture with Dr Raj. Definitely recommend! He is very methodic and fun which makes it easy to understand and retain for your test.
