Humoral Immunity and Cell-mediated Immunity

by Peter Delves, PhD

Human immunity to pathogens relies on humoral and cellular components. Humoral immunity specifically refers to the immunity provided by antibodies embedded in bodily fluids. Cell-mediated immunity, as the name suggests, is the immunity provided by specialized cells.

In this course, the student will be introduced to the basic principles and the most important components of humoral and cell-mediated immunity.

For optimal comprehension, the student must have a preliminary understanding of molecular and cellular biology, emphasizing gene expression, protein synthesis, signal molecules, and cellular receptors.

Difficult topic explained simply and precisely. Exactly what I've been needing.

LECTUREIO lectures
By Sayyada Ghufrana N. on 29. July 2021 for Humoral Immunity and Cell-mediated Immunity

The video lectures are are very nicely presented by these professors. What i usually do is to to hear or watch all the time to grow myself. honestly there is always an addition of knowledge. This is the thing that satisfy me. the bad thing is that they are divided in short clips and to continue we have to to go to next topic. This will hinder when we want to correlate ???. complete one topic in a single video will have deep impact. Over all its good and i like it

Perfect and simple
By Mateo C. on 25. April 2021 for Humoral Immunity: Structure of Antibodies and Immunoglobulin Domains

Very complete and simple to understand!! The presentation has the perfect visual representations.

amazing
