Human Sexuality

Human Sexuality

by Lynae Brayboy, MD

The human response to sexually arousing stimuli is a motivational incentive-based cycle comprising subjective experience and physiologic changes. Psychologic and biologic factors influence the brain's appraisal and processing of sexual stimuli to allow or disallow subsequent arousal. The sexual and non-sexual outcomes influence motivation to future sexual intimacy.

Variability is marked both between individuals and within a person's sexual life, and it is influenced by multiple factors, including one’s stage of the life cycle, mental health, and relationship happiness. Sexual dysfunction can result from a disruption in any or several of these factors, and can lead to significant morbidity.

awesome
By Krisame N. on 14. October 2019 for Female Sexual Dysfunction

it was very interesting, I have never heard about the issues, it helped me to understand my sexuality and my sexual drives more. Since it is considered a taboo to talk it was very enjoyable to learn something from a pro. But I think she need to be more comfortable with the camera.

Clearly presented.
By Itayi T. on 14. August 2018 for Desire, Arousal and Orgasm

Dr. Lynae definitely knows how to teach in a way that a student can understand. I would recommend this lecture to anyone.
