Teaching embryology without 3D illustrations is a crime … at least on such a big platform.. Many of the lectures seems hurried just for the sake of finishing within 10 min .

First time watching it and it's really well explained. Some things are hard to understand, but it helps to pause and try to imagine it. Couldn't ask for more. Educating videos shouldn't be movies, pausing to understand works fantastic as everything explained makes sense.

Actually embryology is tough and it involves a lot of imagination if we study it on our own it is difficult to visualise but Sir makes the classes very interesting less of a burden and because of the classes I never had difficulty in this zone and this was the subject I didn’t had to look behind to review because once taught by Sir it remains forever . I found this course to be highly relevant to anyone interested in becoming a physician and anyone looking to pass the USMLE. It improves student's understand of the different types of measures that must be followed to improve patient's health. The Lecturers were experts who explained the concept with basic expression and easy to understand videos with clear instructions.

This lecture is comprehensive, well paced and easy to understand

I didnt understand it the first time I watched it, but after studying the textbook and watching it again, everything made so much sense. Having a better understanding in physics and ?pressure in the respiratory system also helps. That was truly a high yield lecture, but it's best if you watch it after doing some reading in your textbooks.

The teacher is good, but the explanation should be more interactive. It is very hard to keep attention or to find the things the speaker is talking about in the small pictures.

I truly appreciate Dr. Ward's efforts on making these lectures, guiding me through development of multi organ systems. Highly recommended!

it covers most of the embryology of nervous system. I think it will be really perfect if there are more details on the development of brain itself, specifically cerebellum and midbrain. Another thing to be noted, I cant find the development of spinal cord and it is a part of nervous system. In the end, thank you d.Ward for those really amazing lectures

Too fast and sometimes lacking pretty basic, though essential details about the whole process.

I usually don't rate lectures on Lecturio but Dr. John McLahlan explains things in a simple yet intriguing manner. I don't feel like I need to rewatch any videos since the way he speaks really keeps me alert and gives me excitement. Perhaps it's because at the beginning he asked a question that he relates everything he teaches us to, giving every word a purpose. I absolutely love watching his videos, as they make me actually want to study. His method is perfect.

This was a great lecture! The only thing I missed was an overview in the form of a table or something to help with the review of what aortic arches gives rise to which arteries.

This video, with the previous two videos are amazing. Taking embryology in med school was like greek or hebrew. Your teaching style is very helpful to dissect the processes into understandable segments. Our professor taught by day of development so there was lots of jumping around. This is a great lecturer who gives great detailed explanation. Unfortunately, he's limited by Lecturio, as it hasn't been able to incorporate videos as visual aid to the lectures yet. Embryo, particularly, is very complex an image to mind picture, especially to young learners, and when you feel there were a few things left to imagination, you know something is missing. I believe videos would be the cherry on top, and would make a great tool for what I think it is almost a perfect way of learning, as it is Lecturio and its lecturers.

It's good but way too fast. I've already watched the old course by another lecturer and had lectures at school and read my embryology book on this about 6 weeks ago and am using this as exam prep to remember what I've forgotten while focusing on anatomy till now but even though this is not new territory, it is still too fast. Have to pause to read the slides and rewind a lot. If this is watched by someone completely new to embryology, they'd have a hard time following this. It's funny there's a button to increase speed. Might wanna add an option to slow it down too. It could be more detailed but for me personally, this covers the level of detail in our exams.
