The endocrine system is a complex physiologic system that has multiple functions across a broad range of tissues and organs. Nurses often care for patients with various forms of endocrine disease. This is especially true for nurses working in pediatric, emergency room, and intensive care units.

In this course, you’ll learn about the basic organization, anatomy, and physiology of the endocrine system. You will also learn more about specific organs and tissues like the brain, kidneys, thyroid, and gonads and how these function in the endocrine system.

Jasmine Clark, PhD

Dr. Jasmine Clark is a Lecturer of Microbiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University, Georgia, USA.
She obtained her Doctoral Degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Emory University’s Laney Graduate School in 2013. Currently, she is a Senior Clinical Instructor in Nursing in Atlanta.
Due to her experience, in the academic year 2020-2021, she was part of the GA Governor’s Teaching Fellows Program.
Within Lecturio, Dr. Clark teaches courses on Nursing, specifically Physiology.

Not on par with the other instructors who owned the content and described it so well

It feels like Jasmine is just reading this of a book and she doesn't have a clue what she its talking about. She is not pronouncing the names of the hormones properly and it feels like a grade 4 teacher is dictating material to kids.
