like it very much Thad is awesome donno why noone has rated it
Thanks for the equations and explanations, they're really helpful.
Very difficult for me to remember the lesson but overall the topic is well covered
super Job, can be better at in depth and important concepts.
I had difficulty with respiratory physiology but sir made it easy for me thank you sir
a m a x z i n g l e c t u r e s
Great lecture, for I learnt somethings from the lecture. Thank you Professor.
I am a practising doctor not appearing for any examination, I am watching it to refresh my knowledge. I find it very useful my concepts are refreshed I am getting additional information about recent research and it’s easier to understand with visuals and graphs
Dr. Wilson simplify the most important materials we need to know for this subject. The way he explained that make more sense to me. Simple and easy that literally save my time to read the text book.
Because professor solve my unclear questions. Love the way he explain lecture in the simple way
fantastic teacher in addition to the fact that the explanation is dynamic and very easy to understand
Very very detail and important concept I am very happy to choose lecturio as it assist me in my medical carrier.
I'm a Respiratory Therapy student, so refreshing the physiology from such an amazingly organized and neatly presented source is a real pleasure. The presentations are detailed and contain everything I need to be on the right track with my comprehensive review. Well done and thank you!
he summarize perfectly with important area, i have only 2 month for exam , i can manage my time perfectly
I have just begun the Respiratory Physiology video lectures and the following is the evidence. These video's are right up there with the famous John B. West video's on Respiratory Physiology. John B. can't come close to these Lecturio lectures that honestly satisfy the student. Dr. Wilson, to some, literally takes their breath away with these video lectures on respiratory physiology.
He is a great speaker. Sus clases son muy buenas, muy dinámicas
Very good presention and as usual for Thad with very good and clear illustrations. As mentioned previously, more emphasis on the importance of surfactant would be useful and on how it is essential to keep the airways functional. The section on hypobaric and hyperbaric pressure effects such as during mountaineering and diving is informative and should be of interest to anyone.
There should be more detail about the gross anatomy of the nasal cavity
Everything is explained very clearly. I understood all the information in the video perfectly.
Histology was and always will be my strong suit in medical school, but this was a much-needed review in prep for my upcoming exam. Also, for those who are IMG's and might not have the best of professors, Lecturio has got you covered when it comes to learning what you need to know to do well on exams in year 1 and 2...or if you are having to re-teach yourself like me (upside down smiley).
This was an excellent detailed review of respiratory gross anatomy. Quite a bit more than I thought I need for Step 1, but I am glad I fully went through it as it has helped me fill in the blanks and gaps in knowledge that I was previously unaware of. Remember, you don't know what you don't know until you take the time to study it.
Superb content delivery. Easy to follow and understand. Great job Thad
Excellent lecture, review was clear, engaging and concise. Thank you.
I didnt understand it the first time I watched it, but after studying the textbook and watching it again, everything made so much sense. Having a better understanding in physics and ?pressure in the respiratory system also helps. That was truly a high yield lecture, but it's best if you watch it after doing some reading in your textbooks.
Love the way Dr. Craig explains everything all along the thoracic related subjects.
one of the short and precise explanation ever keep doing the best work LECTURIO
Excelent teacher. Clear and precise with an according order to avoid missing anything.
Excellent coverage of topics with enough detail and relevance to enhance knowledge without sacrificing being practical and easy to absorb.
For those begginer students, its a good and quick way to learn about the mediastinal areas.
It was a great lecture, high-yield indeed. But i hope there will be more detailed downloadable notes provided next time not just in PPT form so it will be easier to review.
I rate it cause I found it good and helpful. I liked it very much because the x- ray explanation its very helpful for me .
great explanations making it very easy to understand...like it
Good preview prior to classroom (more like online at this point) lecture for medschool
Thank you doctor Wilson, you made understanding this topic very simple. As a fact, I understood better from this lecture than the teacher who gives physiology in my college.
Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff
Not boring at all. I don't like the topics about nerves, but I listen your lectures with great pleasure
I love all your lectures and watch them with great pleasure. Dr Graig Canby can explain difficult topics in a very simple way
Very simple, informative and helpful lectures. I watch your videos ???? every day
I enjoy your lectures very much. Thank you for your great work
I liked the explanation given by the sir and he explains line to line aptly that we can understand it easily and the questions at the end gives a review about the topic that u watched
His lectures are very accurate and effective. Moreover, he knows how to be clear and "pédagogue" in the same time. I really like his contents and i think he is a great teacher!
I like it because I feel like now I am able to study difficult concepts in a relatively short space of time. I'd recommend it to all MBBS students finding it difficult to understand respiratory physiology by reading from a text book.
The reason I chose a 4 star rating was because the lectures were amazing and wonderful but I do feel there is room for improvement. I feel in this section, the slides could have contained more information when possible to download and I personally feel that slides was the downfall in this section from preventing the full 5 star rating. I feel the slides could use an improvement and expand on more details. I also believe that the lecturer could have expanded on some concepts a bit more to provide more understanding by providing more examples and various other techniques. The length of the videos were amazing, the way in which the lecturer spoke was captivating and caught my attention and I most certainly enjoyed the lectures and I did learn alot that I never caught in class before. I do urge that the slides do get an improvement by adding certain figures and more concepts especially for us to download. I think it would help alot.
Liked the lectures so far Easy to follow Instructor is very good in explaining concepts, clear, to the point, engaging
Great lecture--very clear and easy to follow. This can be tricky, and Dr. Canby made it very easy to follow
The information was so simple and clear. The ideas go smoothly and easy to understand.
I have really enjoyed the course because Prof. Thad Wilson explained all the concepts in easy and understanding way. So I can integrate all these concepts and apply while I converge that knowledge with other concepts that I have to apply while I'm trying to understand and see how other body systems actually work. For example the cardiovascular system, among others.
Clearly explained the key concepts - not too wordy and presented with clear diagrams!
thank you doctor great talk and info to cover must important and highlighted topics
The lecturer does a good job of explaining these concepts in a manner that was concise and easy to understand
Competent expert relating basic physiology principles well. Emphasis on aspects of physiology that relate to most common respiratory pathology. Good introduction and aid for the novice. Quiz questions after each lecture help reinforce key messages. Over time, Lecturio might be able to invest in more sophisticated graphics such as animations, to support the lecture's teaching objective and aid learning. The lecturer with powerpoint presentation can be a fairly benign and sometimes, unengaging method of teaching.
I have watched this introduction about functions and structures of the respiratory sysem and i have tried to answer about question. I can say really a useful lecture. i like it
v good lecture style . your videos are so simple that I can easily understand...thank u sir
to be honest, the lectures are super boring to watch
Clear and succinct overview of thoracic cavity. Excellent foundation to build upon
Me parece una buena clase, con una muy buena explicación, pero faltaron algunos detalles, por ejemplo: explicar la manera en la que el surfactante reduce la tensión superficial y su composición exacta.
Short, brief, simple and very informative in just one lecture.
Great course, easy to listen to instructor, good explanations, good clinical references
Breaking difficult concepts into simple ones. The quiz at the end of each lecture reinforces the learning. I've been aggressively marketing this material to my friends.
I want to inform in this video you made a mistake when you talk about the AV valve right and left auscultation, you said same side! left side 4th and 5th , same side and after in the summary , you said right and left 5th and 4th, you need the develop new video! Thanks
very good reading, helped me a lot, thank you very much
Professor Ward is excellent! He ties this well with histo as well!
extremely poor presentation. no disrespect to the professor but his anatomy lectures are so far the worst in lecturio!
I am studying for my Anatomy and physiology class, and your lecture is truly helping me.
the lecture was amazing, you made it easy and clear to understand
what a pleasure to learn from the best. thanks to that lecture my concepts are cristal clear.
Takes difficult concepts from West and Guyton and explains them succinctly. The quizzes are very helpful as well.
it's great in general & helpful but u missed Important structure to included in this course which is the LARYNX
The Prof was taliking and explaining quickly where u can understand or get the the information in a good way
I chose this rating because the structures the Lecturer is describing are unclear and difficult to follow. If the instructure had better visualization--such as highlighting the veins as he spoke--that would help immensley. An additional thing that would have helped is to have a visual summary of which veins feed into which at the end of the segment so the students could organize the vein tributaries better in their minds. I like the over all information, it just needs to be presented better.
Excellent presentation of obscure topics to develop a students concepts in this difficult field
I love professor Wilsons lectures. He is so relaxed and is talking at the perfect speed and makes it easy to understand. The information given in these lectures is really good.
Great lecturer who is very knowledgeable about the subject matter & pitch. Pace is also good but needs to work on pronunciation of certain words. keep up the good job.
the teacher is really great - explains stepwise - repeats things in an understandable manner - i could learn about alveolar ventillation - the mechanics of surfactant - role of pneumocytes II -
his lecturers are really fantastic in content and very easy to understand, just a few pronunciation issues
Excellent overview. Explained thoroughly and succinctly. Thank you. Huge help.
Thank you Dr for the lectures. As an non English IMGs, I can't stop watching it again and again. Thank you again for talking slowly.
great lecturer. will highly recommend it to every medical student who want to do better in medschool
The course is good but some questions in the quizzes have the wrong correction. Some information in the physiology course is incompatible with the quizzes in pathology. As an example, the information given about the central receptores being sensible to H+ ion and not to CO2 itself (in physiology) is correct but in the pathology course it is considered incorrect in one of the quizzes where we are given the option between CO2, H+ and other ions and the “right” answer is CO2 which is wrong. I would recommended but the quizzes must be checked for erros.
Dr. Meyer explained really well, especially the olfactory epithelium, was really interesting!
very good lecture! finally i understood respiratory physiology, i loved the slides
I have paid for the lecturio.de physiology course but did not understand much because it is so badly explained. Here Dr Wilson explains so well, I understood things I was not expecting to understand any time soon. So 5 stars because the concepts well explained; clear slow speech, physical laws explained, and contrasted with diseases. I would love to hear more lessons from you.
It is explained in a very clear and concise way. Highly recommend
Monotonous, otherwise very clear and succinct explanations. The monotony requires extra focus from the listener.
Good lecture but too montonus, looks a person is reading out the textbook
eloquent and calm voice which is easy to listen and understand. its great to have lectures which are easy listening like this. not too fast paced to follow and also not to slow that i fall asleep. thank you .
This lecture is spectacular. This is another topic I have struggle with, and here Dr. Wilson has brought absolute clarity. Thanks Dr. Wilson! Thanks Lecturio!!
I think that this professor has done a great job in making the concepts easier to understand! These lectures work well when paired with the WHEATER'S Functional Histology textbook
Crisp, simple, clear, very useful, going into the core basics which allowed me to acquire a good insight into the mechanics of respiration. Thank you, Dr. Wilson, for being so supportive and a kind, good teacher paying attention to concepts spread out in such a phased manner. I am very grateful and humbled.
i wish i could learn it but i cant because doesn't let meh
Needs more review questions, like the rest of the lectures.
Nice and systematically explained. Good job! Gives me a good understanding
Good job explaining the basic physiological concepts and used clear diagrams and images. Good visuals combined with clear, effective lecturing is key
Everything was nicely explained. The necessary amount of detail was included. When I read a pulmonary physiology text I can understand! Thank you so much! make more videos!
Really thank you Dr.Thad Wilson Appreciate this great job .. i had a problem with lung physiology but know i got it .. thank you from my heart
amazing and good explanation and illustration and i like clinical applied for anatomy .. keep going
It is very informative ang well discussed i hope that you will released also topics that covers USMLE2
