Good lecture, needs material updates/error fixes
von Marat S. am 27. August 2023 für Second-degree AV Blocks
Good lecture overall. Downloadable slide materials do not contain all slides and need to be updated (I note this issue was raised by another commenter 3 years ago and responded to indicating it was fixed at that time although the issue persists currently), a few mis-spoken moments need either an audio re-record or an on-screen note (3:1 type 1 2nd degree block first described as 3:4, then as 2:1)

Definition for T1 and T2 is problematic and misleading.
von Alaena A. am 02. Oktober 2021 für Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Slide 9 is problematic, specifically for the explanation of T2. "Perpendicular" is not a very good term. There is no aforementioned information that would help explain what T2 is that is given in this lecture. What should have been said if this was to be avoided would be, "Beyond the scope of this lecture".
Question at the end of the video is best and information is precise
von Anshul c. am 29. September 2021 für Cardiovascular Emergencies and Shock
Crisp and precise information is available
I don’t like other thing is that if a topic is available for free without subscription it should be a complete topic not videos from here m there so that we can have a idea how well we have understood the topic as by watching only 1/2 videos of incomplete topic we can’t get a clear picture whether to get subscription or not

Dr. Raj is an excellent teacher. He makes me wanna study more and I'm looking forward to listen to his lectures. I think he's one of the best in lecture and most definitely my favourite teacher thus far. Cardiology is hard to understand for stupid people no matter how hard he tries to simplify. I understand why other people don't like him. They want plain lectures where the lecturer reads slides only. Medicine is not for dummies fellas.

Bad language, bad graphical representation
von Marco-Aurelio D. am 13. August 2021 für Systolic Dysfunction
I have to repeat everything he says three times because of his way of expressing himself, I don't mean the accent, thats fine, but how he puts his sentences together for explaining something is confusing. This is being made way worse by the graphics and the fact that he can't point at what he actually means while he explains it. Also there is no legend to the curves that he explains.

Good summary
von Juan Carlos V. am 24. Juni 2020 für Standard 12 Lead ECG
I liked the summary, it lacked some key information like what positive and what is negative and why, what is an unipolar and bipolar lead, etc. But it's fine, you'll probably need some basic electrophysiology knowlegde to not get distracted by why things are how they are.
Very good summary

Very good summary of the cardiac action potential, did not get into the little details, but I think that's fine considering this is not meant to be a masterclass on cardiac cell electrophysiology.

von Jean-François E. am 27. Oktober 2019 für Electrocardiogram (ECG) Interpretation
Useful for all medical students from novices just starting to learn how to interpret ECGs to final year students in most rotations (e.g. ER).
Dr. Alpert is a great instructor, one of my favourite on Lecturio.
Once again, Lecturio provides a high quality course that I consider more useful than the classes I got in actual medical school.
I would also enjoy a second, more advanced course on ECG interpretation. It could cover emergent care ECG findings (e.g. should you call the cath lab, should you start heparin, should you give x or y drug, etc.), ECG findings from chronic or acute pulmonary diseases (e.g. cor pulmonale, PE, etc.) and less common findings (e.g. ST elevation from Brugada Syndrome). The more vignettes and ECGs to interpret, the better it would be!
Thank you.

For any Medical Students who will be taking ACLS or want a better understanding of Cardio Pharma. 10/10
von joshua W. am 07. Januar 2019 für Cardiovascular Emergencies and Shock
Phenomenal instruction. As a medical student, I understood the theory behind ECG and pharmacology, but didn't quite understand the why or when. I watched this course prior to taking ACLS, and her explanations having given me more confidence in not only cardiovascular emergency, but also understanding the application of these events. For any medical student I would highly recommend taking the time to watch these videos after you cover cardiology pharmacology in your studies. This course will very clearly give you the understanding the "why" of cardiac pharmacology. As far as medical students go, we tend to look for videos that are very to the point and explain well without wasting time. This lecture series checks all the boxes. Very well done, and very highly recommended.

Honestly, it is a godsend. The videos are clear, concise and fun! Dr. Raj is passionate and amazing! Also I watched many others videoes and all are fantastic! I wish I got to know about this earlier, it would have helped me immensely.
It has lectures from MCAT to USMLE 2 so all the courses are covered, never again I'll be stuck with not understanding and never again will reading the book become so time-consuming.
The bookmatching aplication that it has is genius and also just makes my life much easier.
I am using this program for my PANCE and it facilitates my learning to be more effective!
Thank you all so much for putting this together!
Highly recommended.

Excellent lectures. If you could add on some lectures on radiography for head and neck region and CBCT for head especially maxilla and mandible, that would have been great.

It needs more clinical correlation with diseases in the IV fluids
For example, when to use normal saline or when to use dextrose this will make our understanding better

T1&T2 Weighted imaging needs work
von George L. am 12. Juli 2017 für Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Explanation of the T1 & T2 Terminology and how it works is lacking.
Could have used way more slides to visualize this: MRI in Practice by C. Westbrook et al show how this can be done in Chapter 1.
Important concepts which need to be properly explained, in this video it looks like it has been half heartedly done.
Excellent
