I've been studying this for hours..... couldnt understand it. Then I saw this video and completly understood it.

He was very enthusiastic. Lecture clear and concise. Very good.

The parts that the lecturer points to are not marked/pointed at/ highlighted in the video. Thus students (like myself) get lost and dont know what (part of the image) the lecturer is specifically talking about. This comments refers to all this series about the male sexual organ.

Clear presentation AND good selection of figures to show both a. and v. circulation. It is an added plus that all figures have the names in latin and not English. In other of the anatomy videos (i.e. upper limb, brain) the names in English, whereas keeping it in latin is more international than English and makes us all think that we are treating a scientific topic with a long history. Keeping it in latin makes i more clear and less ambiguous than English. Keep names of anatomical structures in latin in you Lecturio lectures.

Histology was and always will be my strong suit in medical school, but this was a much-needed review in prep for my upcoming exam. Also, for those who are IMG's and might not have the best of professors, Lecturio has got you covered when it comes to learning what you need to know to do well on exams in year 1 and 2...or if you are having to re-teach yourself like me (upside down smiley).

This was an excellent detailed review of respiratory gross anatomy. Quite a bit more than I thought I need for Step 1, but I am glad I fully went through it as it has helped me fill in the blanks and gaps in knowledge that I was previously unaware of. Remember, you don't know what you don't know until you take the time to study it.

I've previously used the Grey's student to learn about the pelvis and perineum. Despite all the information provided I was unable to visualize and understand the placement of structures. This video explains and shows very clearly the relationship of the muscles and organs in the pelvis with the perineum. Another amazing lecture.

He talks 6 minutes straight without changing a slide! It would be helpful to have bullet points in order to understand step by step what he is going to cover. Very bad teacher.

He presents a list of the lymphocytes without the natural killer cells! Afterwards, he refers to them as if we know what these cells are. He also refers to lymphocytes as "key players", writing below a list of cells that we do not know in which category they belong. Busy slides, difficult language, not able to get his message across.

Following Immunology studies in medical school, I greatly tested it, but after listening to only a few of his lectures, I've not only learned to love immunology, but I'm excited to dive into it further. My last block contained a lot of immunology, and I did very poorly on the exam. I had an incredibly difficult time teasing out the most important information and organizing the immune response in a logical fashion. All the terms seemed jumbled in my head. This block is infectious disease, and requires building on the foundation of immunology--so I need to rebuild my foudation :p After watched just 3-4 of the Lecturio videos, I immensely regret not using it earlier. Thank you Dr. Delves, for being clear and logical it what is a very difficult and complex subject!

The lecture is great, really informative, loved it. The quiz has one of the questions as, what structure is NOT located within the sinus and the answer is given as ureter when the answer should be the calyx. As the ureter passes through the hilum and out the sinus, but the calyx does not exit the kidney.

I could understand perfectly what blood is, the concept and which contains.

The lectures were understandable and well organized presentation. Though few questions were asked, it help students recall things that had been thought. Furthermore, the presentation is separated into regions and it doesn't confuse the students.

I actually disagree with the above. Definitely really easy to follow, especially with the colour changes on the diagrams. It is, after all, an anatomy lecture and he teaches in a way that does allow you to think contextually for yourself without being super explicit about it. Thanks James

I wish I had these videos as a 1st-year med student to learn anatomy. These lectures were great, and I love using them to review before starting residency (currently 4th year student). The general-to-specific approach is wonderful to make sure students always know exactly where everything is

I chose this rating because the structures the Lecturer is describing are unclear and difficult to follow. If the instructure had better visualization--such as highlighting the veins as he spoke--that would help immensley. An additional thing that would have helped is to have a visual summary of which veins feed into which at the end of the segment so the students could organize the vein tributaries better in their minds. I like the over all information, it just needs to be presented better.

For the slide about the lumbar nerves, only subcostal (T12) is listed. It would be helpful to list other nerves, such as iliohypogastric (T?) and ilioinguinal (T?).

I was going to give it a five stars but in the lecture you said during respiration the heart moves down and up but in the quiz the right answer was up and down..

I am a thirteen year old girl who wants to become an MD when I grow up, and I've been studying anatomy independently for about half a year, and lecturio helps me so much! This lecture is very in-depth and explanatory, if you want to learn about the heart then you should watch this video!

good lecture- lost a star because illustrations are in latin. I do appreciate latin is completely acceptable to use in the context of anatomy, but in practice nobody uses latin terms and it feels outdated and counter-productive to learn the latin nomenclature. It would be much easier to follow if everything was in english ; a small point but it did slow me down when following this lecture.

Why am I rating this lecture at all? I had to pause a video just to wrote this review because I was just so grateful that it was broken down so well with the schematic diagram. I was feeling overwhelmed with the amount of information in the blood supply and wondering if there was a way i can get it down quickly and have the concept clear in my mind. These schematics are awesome and are saving my medical life right now!!!!

clear and concise introduction to the thyroid gland and thyroidectomy relative to the fascial spaces

it is extremely general and does not provide the important notes about the gland like its blood suplly, innervation and details about what could be damaged if a thyrodectomy was preformed wrongly.
